Preliminary (38/78 chp)
This manga is absolutely amazing. I read it to the current issue in one day. One thing I would STRONGLY suggest is that you go into this series completely unspoiled, since a large part of enjoying it hinges on not knowing how situations will turn out.

Here are the main reasons I like this manga so much:

The girls are pure, adorable, and beautiful. Beyond that, they're pretty believable, and the character development in the more recent chapters has been really good.

There is consistent plot development in almost every single chapter, the pace isn't jarringly fast and it certainly isn't boringly slow.

I found my heart beating really ...

Preliminary (6/13 eps)
Let's get this out of the way: I read the entire Grisaia no Kajitsu VN, and I really liked it. I outright cried at two, maybe three of the five routes.

No, let's move on to this: this fucking anime was a horrible adaptation. It was so bad I wanted to vomit. Holy shit it was the worst adaptation of anything I've ever watched, there was so much cut content the show couldn't possibly have made sense to anyone who didn't read the VN, and Sakaki's route was so butchered and wrongly adapted it was like someone giving you a cookbook and telling you it was ...

To be honest, this movie is much better than it has any right to be. Looking at it, I really didn't expect much, but downloaded it anyways because dinosaurs. I was very surprised at how good the fights were, and appreciated and respected the character of the lead. It left me feeling somewhat emotional, and I had this hollow feeling I get when something I enjoy ends. Go for it, I'm sure it would appeal to most.

Kemonozume (Anime) add
Kemonozune has a strong opening few episodes, a good soundtrack, and is very, very artsy. However, the story is probably its weak point. It starts to seriously deteriorate around episode 7/8, at which point the show becomes a jumbled cluster of the genres that it had balanced well until that point. It loses any sense of direction or meaning, and in the end becomes fairly absurd. Still, the atmosphere it put off through the whole was excellent, and some of the characters surprisingly grew on you. I really enjoyed the idea of the Flesh Eaters, though it seems like they didn't get much actual screen-time. ...

It's worth the watch if you don't want to bother with the TV series, but I don't think it's as good. While the animation and art are acceptable and feel "Golgo," the one thing that really nagged at me was Golgo's lack of capability. Throughout the TV series, he never really got cornered, but he was injured and held unconscious several times throughout this, which kind of messed with my image of him. I like the TV series mainly because the idea of some world-renowned nigh-invincible assassin is awesome. Queen Bee subtracted from that and didn't really even focus on him that much. As a ...

Preliminary (9/10 eps)
This anime is, in short, excellent. It follows the manga very well, has well-casted voices in both Japanese and English audio, has a unique and entertaining premise, a kick-ass soundtrack, cool and exotic character designs, and some serious action scenes with good animation and suspense. It is superior in every way to the TV series, and aside from the beginning and the characters, the two are separate. While the story is pretty good, it is not too heavily story-driven, which can be seen as a good or bad thing. It has lots of fighting and action, the dialogue being exciting, even. Therefore, it is a ...

Preliminary (1/12 eps)
If you have not read the VN, it could be considered at best a mediocre harem antics/slice of life show. Decent characters, enjoyable enough, manageable length.

However, should you have read the VN beforehand, STAY AWAY FROM THIS. Dear God. I cannot emphasize this enough. It is completely detached from any of the VN routes, is not loyal to the personality of the characters, and is generally not an outstanding anime to begin with.

I would strongly suggest avoiding this one.
