By seeing the rating I’ve gave this show with such praise beyond the anime community, I’m sure many must think I’m just another “mainstream anime hater”. I assure you that I have a good reason for giving this show the rating of 3.
First of all, I’m going to be talking about the series as a whole (from season 1-3 part 1(ep 1)) because though I’ve only seen one ep of this season, i still want to cover this anime.

Honestly, I love the Jojo franchise but this season in particular was extremely boring and I felt like there was no reason to watch it. I was really trying my best to enjoy and watch this season but it felt like a whole filler. This season they were fighting a normal dude who's stand wasn't even that powerful which I found extremely boring to watch just after I was binging the other series not even a month before. When each episode came out, I found myself dreading to watch it. I wish I could've enjoyed this season but honestly it wasn't going to happen.

Devilman Crybaby was a pretty decent show. Though most people didn’t like the art style I found it pretty interesting and I actually enjoyed most of it. Aspects in the show are very gruesome and sexual which may not pander to most people. I do think the anime was wayyy too fast and I think they should have done more episodes (around 24). Some of the supporting characters are very unlikable but if you try and block them out I’d find that you may enjoy the show. I do think the manga would be better to read though.
