Have you ever read something captivating as fuck and suddenly author -san decide to step on your face with harmoured knight sole , if not, i recommend to read ubel blatt , you will surely have the most amazing training day at the gym of your life and become the strongest of the neighbourhood

So basically the first 60 chapters are interesting , his vengance is nuanced between duty , honour , and the best decision to take for the citizen ,sometimes you feel like , he is the bad guy , but he has any right to do what he is doing ... , it’s a good dark fantasy .

Then come the 100 last chapter, author-san just said fuck off , the story ? Let’s put time skip again and again , add new characters to have new fight again and again , redesigning old minor characters so that you can’t recognize them and it’s not their fucking german name with 4 time the same letter in it who’s gonna help you remember.
But i guess he need to sell it to not be axed , so here is coming the naked woman , unlucky for him i wasn’t down bad , strangely enough it was during these 100 chapters that the art became incredibly good

To synthethize it for people who don’t wanna read it :

70 chapter : good dark fantasy manga
100 other : an hentai with endless number of fights like one of those extended one piece episode fighting sbires .

Not even a B-rate movie , the story might have been intesresting , but all the problems encountered by the protagonist are resolved 3 pages later , dumb reasoning , problem with logics that made you wonder if the author actually though about what he was Drawing , you mix that with plain characters and here you are with that really bad build up manga .
Maybe it got better after the first 20 chapters but i don’t have a lot of hopes concerning it .

The art was good tho , so it might bait people to read it , but ask yourself why ... there was no review before mine , sorry about my bad english it’s not my first language .

The vibe is absolutely immaculate , if your a fan of 80’s ,the contrast of old town , chinese culture and high tec , futurist and sci-fi combined to that sexy protagonist drawned like a city hunter character make me want to listen to miki matsubara , however i tend to say that the atmosphere fall off after 15-20 chapters , the story seems highly interesting , and fresh but it’s so slow and repetitive , i don’t remember the number of useless panel and wasting time by watching the same things again and again and that’s for sure a big malus for that ... manga , it’s really my type but i have to say i dropped because it just get boring , nothing happens and when it does it feel forced , unnatural i feel like watching a football match with no action for 90 min , and get a last second penalty .

I will wait until (if) someday that the story will be exploited at a decent rythme

It’s probably one of the worst works i have ever read

To say it bluntly the first 20 chapters are good , then the main plot about fighting just disappear , as the main character say at the end , i have done nothing , and that resume this manga , there is nothing happening , the same thing again and again i feel like half of the chapters are useless , there are characters with no utility at all , thanks to the amazing art i would give this a 2/10 otherwise it’s the bottom of nothingness .

30 chapter as battle shonen ... manga then give up on fighting
50 chapter kidnapping ( fight with useless mc since he don’t fight)
50 chapter dragging love stoy (useless mc )
50 chapter kidnapping ( useless mc )
50 chapter that i don’t even remember ( useless mc )

I am not a samurai fan , and therefore i can clearly say , it’s one of the most amazing work i have ever read :

-art style : it’s so simplistic and yet so impactful , it make the battle so clear i love it 9.5/10
-characters : there is no good , but only bad people and scum here , each one of their story is well written , so well , that sometimes you dont’ want to return on the main characters timeline ( and they are good) the chara design is absolutely god tier 10/10
-story : you won’t be bored , ... i feel like there is no exceedîng chapters , useless chapter or boring time on it 7.5/10
-thematical : quality ( badass swordsmans)over quantity (normal citizens) ? Blood over peace ? add to that a revenge led by a 16 years old girl who’s teacher is an immortal and immoral man . 9/10
Little bonus : the gore and the violence is well mastered +1

If you love awesome characters with awesome fight in a seinen way this is for you

Here is my honest point of view for this manga :

Goodpoint:
-art style : it’s really different , the use of black scenery make this world amazing . 8.5/10
-thematical : for those who like budhisme and the why of the life , your served it’s overflowing . 9/10
-originality : i’m always amazed by authors who can create a world with nothing commonly in it , there is no basement of society . 10/10
-dialogue : the dialogue are really enjoyable , it make me remember monogatari series , and the panel cutting are exceptionnel 10/10

Badpoint :

-characters : honestly i have rarely seen a main character ... as dumb as this one , making the same mistake again and again , also i feel that 1/3 to 1/2 side characters are useless , and let’s not forget about the lacks of emotion from the gems , who give you a feeling of nobody care 3.5/10

-story : enjoyable until the 30 first chapter , but after a while it get repetitive and just plain . 5/10

-the battle system : i think the author just forgot about it , the fights are boring fighting the same npc and the system of hardness make no sense since everybody break of the same manner 2/10.

Overall 7/10 : it’s kind of a slice of life with celestial beings
