deku and naruto are hopeless losers that seem weak and dumb, but they have a big spirit and receive a grand power to strike down evil and change the view of others towards them, also tournament arc and rivalry between main characters is there, they are also very palpable to the mainstream audience

...then you might like Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch add

most obvious recommendation ever, a incredibly smart guy receives some kind of convenient power and decides to use it for his own good while trying to help other humans in the process, all around mindgames, mysteries and psychological warfare, only difference is that code geass actually has war due to mecha while death note sticks to the psychological ground, also the relation between suzaku/lelouch instantly reminds of L/Light

very similar protagonist, they rarely say anything and we follow the story mostly thru their inner thoughts, i instantly thought of hachiman while watching this, i would even say legoshi is basically hachiman if hachiman was transported to the beastars world as a wolf, and vice-versa, both have a different world view then pretty much every other character in the shows and they were what made the shows good 4 me in the first place

...then you might like Kill la Kill add

both are crazy, scandalous and hyped shows, you WILL get Hyped with over the top fights and transformation, the stakes get incredibly high, they have a similar production and animation style and are original, i would say Kill La Kill is like Tengen Toppa but without Mecha, and more relatable to the real world, both have remarkable OST and the progression of the story is similar on both animes

impossible not to get HxH vibes while watching/reading tower of god -Gon and Bam have a similar personality and goals -Both shows start with the characters going thru various tests and finding a team and friends to proceed in the tests -HxH Nen power and ToG Shinsoo are also similar

Regular guy has to deal with a beast inside of him, fighting other monsters that are similar to him spreading among the world, starts off regular and becomes strong quickly, also alot of gore, crazy fights and drama, and the OST's are also similar with alot of eletronic dubstep style soundtracks that are very unique

I got the same vibes from them i would say Tsuki Ga Kirei is the anime version of Byousoku with less depression, both are realistic romances that pretty much focus on that only, the art, OST and theme songs are also great in both

Honestly it's almost weird how much this 2 are similar, A School where basicaly only 1 thing matters (Cooking/Gambling) where a Newcommer starts to challenge everyone and make waves on the school, there's also the Council of Students that are the best and most powerful and basically dominate the school
