Story (7) : Best part of the anime is the story. It actually tells something about finding love despite being weird, an outcast or career-driven. It tells something about moral values that doesn't necessarily match with fitting in with the upper classes.
The premise is original.
With all that said, I didn't like the execution of that story, although it's a comedy, it's just too silly to maintain a consistency and suspension of disbelief. Which not only hinder the stakes and the spy part of the story. But also mitigate the true gap and despise between social classes...
Frustrating because some parts are very well done (the clean-dictatorship
...
setting with the people bowing but seemingly oppressed)
Disappointing that it turns out to be a yonkoma-like/slice of life. The themes, backstory, continuation and setting are secondary...
Art (6) : The art direction looks a bit generic.
The backgrounds are bland, the animation is limited except some sakugas, and the character design doesn't live up to the manga source material incredible and unique art style.
Sound (4) : Nothing special. Elevator kind of music Nothing that stands out. The "reading-mind" sound effect is a nice touch though.
Character (7) : So far, the character development of the 3 mc has been decent. But once again, they're sometimes too silly and clueless to be believable as an efficient spy and assassin, even for a comedy.
I can't say that I find them relatable but they are touching, and the seiyuu are doing a good job.
Secondary characters have been forgettable so far.
Enjoyment (7) : It's funny, cute, and enjoyable. The humor is cute, yet a bit predictable. The fact that I was thrown off the show so many times by questionning silly plot devices has kinda ruined the experience.
It's something I watch without thinking, but even then, it manages to be "too much" or the jokes happen to be too long.
The absence of fan-service is a big plus. Very family-friendly, which is kinda refreshing if, like me, you're tired of that oversexualization era.
Overall (7) : It's not an unpleasant experience. The story setting is pretty original.
I just can't get excited by the characters or the production value.
I don't see much rewatch potential, and it doesn't give me the urge to read the manga continuation.
I would definitely recommend to a younger audience. Safe to watch and wholesome.
There you go.

I love it and hate it at the same time.
I really enjoyed the designs.
The world building, characters, lore and story have so much potential, I'm very frustrated with some missed opportunities to make something more epic and emotional with it.
With that said, I want to believe that the authors know what they are doing and that some parts of the story will make more sense when the show will be whole with all seasons.
Still a 8/10 for me, despite the disappointing finale and some poor writing decisions, overall, this show made me feel unique emotions, and I was never bored watching it except for episodes
...
15 and 23...
Pros:
-Outstanding narration
-Unique design
-Good animation
-Intriguing world
-Deep and universal themes
-OP2 is excellent
Cons:
-Questionnable writing in 2nd half ot the season
-Anti-climatic season's finale

It's a NAY.
Main character is passive and a crybaby, unexplained romantic relationship, why does that girl even like that scumbag of main characters? There is no tangible reason to this, they have nothing in common and nothing developped to those feelings...
The animation is laughable at some moments.
I love time travel stories, even when they aren't explained in a logical way. So it's not the concept that I reject, but the execution is awful. The main concept for Tokyo Revengers is intriguing enough to take a look at.
But there, no, we are in the classic operating shonen, handsome looking main characters stronger than the tall,
...
muscular secondary characters who actually look like thugs. Just from the character designs, you can figure who is going to do what, when you know a little bit about anime.
The story drags on and we quickly realize that the author / publisher / producers have decided to milk the initial concept to the core without worrying about the consistency of the decisions that the characters make. .
In short, really disappointed by this anime surrounded by so much hype. Boring at will.
Nay nay nay nay!!!

Great start from an intriguing premise, you get a sense of adventure, discovery and mystery.
The "science" part serves the plot pretty well. The first 10 episodes are very enjoyable, as the character cast is limited, and the stakes are reasonable and balanced.
Then, by the middle of season one, as more as we learn about the Dr Stone world, the reveals are disappointing.
As the characters list grows, each one of them become more and more one-dimensional, including the main ones
From this point, the rest of the serie, including season 2, becomes very predictable and repetitive.
The stakes seem serious, but we know nothing really too serious is
...
going to happen anyways...
Pros :
-Science!
-Strong start
Cons :
-Poor character development
-Logical science meets illogical plot, especially some character's decisions
-Repetitive

Pros :
-Promising concept
-Catchy pilot episode
Cons:
-Takes its audience for idiots by explaining everything
-Takes itself too seriously
-Extremely slow, some episodes are full of inner dialogues and dialogues that leads to nothing
-Beside the two protagonists, all the characters are forgettable
-Not a really dynamic score, same couple of tracks playing every episode
...
-Second half of the series just goes completely silly and over the top
I don't get the hype, this anime wants to sound smart, but in my book, smart means you don't have to explain every single detail of what's going on and what you're intending to do or to think.
"Show, don't tell"
Spending full episodes explaining their plans, throwing paragraphs of rules related to the Death Note, basically no action...
Not to mention Ryukuu, the shinigami commenting everything Kira does, to make sure the audience understood what just happened : "Oh... He let a piece of paper from the Death Note, so the person who would touch it would be able to see me and then, would panic, what a genius!", wow thank you for the explanation!
It gets more and more silly as the serie goes, while the first 4 episodes were ok and fast paced.
The story is dragged for too long and the concept, which was original in the first place, is used in such a fashion that it becomes over the top and a blatant plot armor...
Should have lasted 12 episodes and remove all the inner dialogues and explanations, we could have understood what are the characters deducing and thinking just by their action.
Here, every single thing is explained to us like we're 5, and it takes ages.
The irony is that Death Note is often presented as an intelligent show, while it obviously underestimate its viewers
I wouldn't recommend if you actually want to have fun or be puzzled

Pros :
-Great animation and art
-Well used concept
-Consistent quality art and storywise even in the couple of fillers
-Pretty fast paced and tonic
-Adult protagonists for once...
-Well balanced between action and humor
-No fanservice
Cons :
...
-Pretty simple story
Overall : A pretty unique anime, refreshing to see two adult protagonists in action based series.
The parody and the action are well balanced and not over the top. The art is damn good for the time. The story is pretty straight forward, it's pure fun and entertainment, but that's an anime I would recommend to someone who is not into animes because you don't get the usual anime tropes and cliches like hero power up, annoying noisy characters and silly fan service.
