...then you might like Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! add

Both are about female otaku. Both of the female otaku have social phobias. Kuragehime's protagonist is more real. But Watamote's protagonist is more along comedy. I think female anime fans will prefer Kuragehime. Male anime fans would prefer Watamote. Tsukimi from Kuragehime is no longer in high school, so she is more hikkikomori than the protagonist of Watamote. If you really like the hikkikomori female perspective, then you may prefer Kuragehime.

If you liked Kenpuu Denki Berserk add

...then you might like Shingeki no Kyojin add

Both anime deal with Demons, revenge, battle, and are both male power fantasies. If you like one you will like the other. They both have interesting protagonists. There are three anime that are very much similar to Shingeki no Kyojin, Berserk, Claymore, and Hokuto no Ken. I would say out of the 3 Berserk is the one most similar. So I recommend it as have many others and this is a very valid recommendation.

...then you might like Shingeki no Kyojin add

Claymore is very similar in atmosphere, storytelling, and battles. Both anime are similar and would be the same sub-genre. I am an expert on anime like Claymore and this is definitely similar. I think Clayomore, Berserk, Shingeki no Kyojin, and Hokuto no Ken are very similar and should be considered inseperable. If you like one you will definitely like the other.

...then you might like Free! add

Both are about a team of childhood friends who used to participate in an activity together until one of them left. They meet back up and try to get the friend to play with them again. So far the plot is the same excpet with karata instead of swimming. Incredibly similar anime.

If you liked Ixion Saga DT add

...then you might like Gintama': Enchousen add

Watch the first episode and you will see why Ixion Saga DT is like Gintama. A lot of the jokes are variations of Gintama jokes. This anime was totally inspired by Gintama. Gintama is so unique that it inevitably was going to inspire a whole new genre of anime. I think Ixion Saga DT is the first of many Gintama-genre anime to come.

If you liked Hajime no Ippo add

...then you might like Cross Game add

Cross game and Hajime no Ippo are dramatic, and makes you care about the characters outside of the field,ring respectively. They are both VERY addictive and will make you want to marathon through them. If you like the fact that you cared about the characters then either of these anime will satisfy that need.
