This show has a lot of degenerate sexual mumbo jumbo in it, which is the main reason for such a low score. The story and plot are kinda dumb sometimes, with predictable action scenes, but its entertaining, and it's really not that bad. Its really just the degenerate stuff that has the score low. Two troon characters for basically no reason, and they just go around molesting people, and at one point a child. Like, idk its just kinda gross and i dont get the purpose of including it. This show was pretty good. Not too big of a fan of all the sexual mumbo jumbo that happens, and theres a few parts where it kind of seems like they let some weird pervert into the studio and he got his grubby hands on the script, but if you just ignore the weird stuff its actually a pretty good show. The animation is good quality, characters are charming, my favorite is Nessa. The ending is satisfying, characters develop reasonably well. Over all a pretty good show. It lost some points because of the weird sexual mumbo jumbo(as of writing this ranked it at 7/10)

This show is pretty bad, and with out spoiling anything, the plot just gets WEIRD for zero reason. How ever, I actually enjoyed the show despite the bad rating, only because of how entertaining it was to poke fun of it. So if you enjoy watching things you know will be bad, and laughing at them, then this is a good pick. How ever i doubt it be non ironically enjoyable for you, unless you're 14 year old girl. Yet another amazing show with Yoshitoshi ABe's involvement. Great character designs, as always from him. I LOVE Ran's design. The art work for this show is amazing. The world building is incredible in this show. It gives you one of the most bleak feelings I have ever experienced in an piece of media. They want the world to be bleak in the show, and you really feel it. There is really never any point where you think "oh wow, what a happy place" or anything close to it. Yet another great show with Yoshitoshi ABe's involvement. A classic. It has a great atmosphere and aesthetics, fitting music, and a story line that requires some thinking to full understand and enjoy. And I like that about the shows I watch. I'm a big fan of stories that require you to think about them, or rewatch a couple of times to full appreciate them. In my opinion, I get a lot more out of shows like that than those that can be fully enjoyed by just watching. Haibane Renmei, is in my opinion the best show I have ever watched. I'm not even exactly sure for what reason, but something about this show really resonates with me. Everything from the atmosphere, to the art style, the music, the pacing, its all great. All packed into 13 episodes. The writing is well done. There's never one of those scenes where the writers cheap out and just have a character thinking in their head spelling out whats happening for you.
