Story: Good story, I guess it is kind of relate able. It was a typical drama rom-com, but that is exactly what I was looking for.
Art: Not overly exaggerated art. It was... simple yet effective
Sound: Some good music, nothing to write home about
Character: Great character development! The main character was cringe/ laugh worthy in the beginning (man all those situations he got himself in embarrassed the hell out of me), but because of the length of the series he developed at a quick but steady pace. I liked it.

I mainly ever use MAL to check for good anime's to watch. I hardly ever write a review. That is how good this anime is.
Story- The story, although similar to .hack//Sign, is much deeper. It centers around people being mentally trapped in a virtual reality game called, "Sword Art Online (SAO)." They are trapped until someone/ some group is able to clear all 100 levels of the game. Generic right? Wrong. It essentially shows the progression of a civilization. How people adapt to the circumstances given, and how problems arise because of it. There is the enveloping problem of escaping from the game, the societal problems ... |
