To be honest, I have mixed feelings about Shamo. At first, i wasn't very sure about reading this manga but I decided to do anyway , hoping it would turn out to be something like Holyland. But I really couldn't connect with it, specially witht the main character Ryo. Despite that I realized how good it is while I figured that the story was not about redemption of a hero but rise of a villain. It started to remind me of a classic movie named Raging Bull whitch also featured the same main character. I started to enjoy the story and everything was going great

I don't know how to describe this manga I just wanna say I love it with the deepest parts of my heart, I know a lot of people have berserk as their top manga(I've read berserk as well and I love it too) but the top manga for me is Vagabond
The first time I've read this I thought is a historical action-adventure manga but I really didn't expect to learn a lot of great life lessons from it. it changed the way I look at life and feel better about myself and the world that's why I love this manga. This manga is not only ...

Ayo what's up all?! This is my very first review on MAL and I hope I will be useful!
I really liked this manga! it's mostly a combination of short stories sure doing a mysterious hotel is a bizarre land. although the main plot also exists which goes gradually between these stories. Don't let this cartoony art style makes u believe this is a work for kids no! it's more adult-oriented but very fun, it contains Blood, Guns, Drugs, Mafia, and assassins but in a very fun way! also, I really liked the characters I adore the art style for its simplicity, the story sometimes might not ... |
