ONIMAI is a anime I first dropped on the first episode due to the feeling it will be overly lewd, but I returned… because watching too few anime this season was no fun, the show is a really good slice of life if I saw so (in my opinion), and the character interactions are really well done, and Mihari’s over reaction to any social interactions never get old as a introvert myself. As for when the show tries to be wholesome it also does that well, and not to mention how well the animation aesthetic fits really well. But then ecchi part of it which, ... I’d say isn’t as bad as most over erotic anime, and fairly funny from time to time, but that’s when you look back to it and remember the main thing… the characters are middle school girls…

As long as a person watches it with a normal mind, it doesn’t seem bad, but it’s also a show that seems to be something a person into lolicon would wanna watch due to the factor.

Overall, It’s one of the few shows on side of Tomo-chan and Angel next door that I enjoyed this season and personally had fun watching.

Without much spoiler, this is basically what Non-weebs may see the general anime as. It starts off without much context of the setting so most would at least wanna watch it for the first 5 episodes, I thought it was a general workplace anime similar to Blend S as I started without info, but it's far different than that and kept me watching till the end while live airing. The Animation is nice and smooth, just make sure you know the Gore warnings before. The setting with the maid cafe is interesting and the competition between all of them in an unusual way is also ... unique which clearly being unrealistic in real live situations is what made this anime what it is.
