As a fun of both baccano and durarara! , I really enjoyed this !

I higly recommend it to anyone who is a fun of baccano!

It started off kinda slow but as the cast grew the story became more and more interesting !

I think it is my favorite reverse isekai manga out right now !

The manga is really good at foreshadowing things , more than most newer manga !

... The author is a veteran and I think it is really shows!

Although the art is not godly , it still is really good and the action is quite easy to follow !

I did not feel that the story was in any way predictable , but instead that the constant twists always had me on edge!

My one compaint is that it can get a bit complicated at time but in my personal opinion this was easier to follow than both of the authors previous works (Baccano ,durarara )

While I do think it was promising , I do understand why it got axed .
I feel that the story past chapter 20 became a lot more focused and was way more enjoyable than the first 20 chapters .

My problems with those first 20 chapters were as follows

1st The power system is not expained very well and some power ups feel unearned .

2nd Although the writer tried to make the main character unique with a certain character trait which I feel made the story have more unessecary dialogue and was just not executed well and furthermore I feel that it was retconned by ... chapter 20. I felt that his backstory and powers were enough to differintiate him from other main characters.

3rd The first 20 chapters felt very generic and did not lean on the horror elements as much as I wanted it to.

4th The comedy is most times unessecary and kinda drags the pacing
down and in general the pacing felt very bad in this manga .

Final Notes : This may be an unpopular opinion but he should have just made the main character from the extra chapter the real main character in phantom seer and have that special chapter as a chapter 1. I feel that way that the story would stand out more from jjk and there could have been a romance subplot with the blindfold lady like chainsaw man .

I really liked how fujimoto portrayed the characters in this one shot .

The story was mediocre but good enough to keep my attention through the whole book.

And the art is in typical fujimoto style although repeating the same shots got a bit boring , I know it adds an affect to the manga as a whole but doing it that many times in a one shot is a bit annoying .

It was an enjoyable manga for what it was .

I would give this an 8/10 as a whole because it was a quick enjoyable read but i think it was not as deep as some ... other reviews mentioned

I look forward to all of fujimoto's next works as a fan of his , and I think this was my least favourite work of his (from the four) but that does not mean that in any way it was bad.
