I will keep it simple. All Zomm 100 it's a metaphor. The zombies aren't important, the important are the "Living dead" people. And with this I mean people living without hope of live, dead people that breathe, study and work, cry, hate and aren't waiting to experience nothing more till they die.

The context is a metaphor of "The worst case scenario" literally the apocalipsis. Literally a Context where you can excuse yourself to only focus in surviving. But the idea is showing us how even with zombies we can do whathever we want that makes us free and happy. If th characters can do ... all this stuff in the apocalipse, you can travell even without money and that kind of message.

The characters are a metaphor of problems and views of the current Japanese societty. They are simple. But they need to be simple, they just are meant to give you a message. For example the boss it's there just to make you realize how your boss can manipulate you, and how you could front face him. The antisocial it's there to show how social distancing could make us think we want to make others suffer, and be as alone as possible meanwhile probably we just really want to be closer to more people and be a better person. The protagonist are the same. No one it's hard to understand because they need to be as understandable as possible and give you the message as clear as possible "live"

This isn't the kind of existentialism shows where the story and characters want you to live using methods to make you sad and filling worst about yourself because you are not living enought. They try their best to be as happy and free as possible, even if sometimes they find the problems and how much they do affect them, they face them the best they can and it makes you just light the flame of YOLO in you, and try to smile as much as you can. It's just really fun and entertaing.


-The Opening and Ending are incredible, the lyrics summarise the whole show essence, and the music is great too.
-The OST... well, isn't the best I have heard but isn't a problem at all, is a good OST even if it is his weak point, and that only talks about how good is this anime.
-the Rhytm is preety good too
-The story As you can Imagine i considere it great
-the characters are funtional, identifiable, charismatic and simple, just great characters
-problems: none, nothing makes the experience bad at all

I love the fact that this is the first anime delivered by BUGS films knowing their story, and knowing the message of the show I feel really happy when the chapters got delayed, because I can see people is working in a healthy way.




Just to be clear with some people I read in reviews, no, that it has zombies doesn't mean it has to be about suspense. And talking bad about the series because it's not the walking dead only means you didn't understand the most basic about the show. And no, having simple protagonist isn't a problem, it's actually a
strong point with the show that helps to deliver the message.


The show goes to the Japanese, but personally I felt eveysingle message they trhow to me. This wasn't just entertaining, it was some therapy I needed. I'm finish this meanwhile I'm in a burnout and I cryed a lot, defenitly this show changed my life and how I see myself, my life, and even my dreams. This show was made to change lives, and in me it worked.

May be I should wait the show to finish to review it. But doing it now could be usefull to people that haven´t watched it and aren´t sure if they should. Honestly I wasn´t sure if I should give it a try because the posters and the synopsis are a little confusing. So I would like to make another First approach.

In the context of Yurei Deco, people live with a "Deco" in their eyes that lets them see the real world in Augmented reality with shared data with every citizen, like being in real live and a game with skins for the world in ... the same way. This Deco is obligatory, you must register and use it everymoment. But if you are not registered somehow we could say that you are out of that world, you are a Phantom, you are a "Yurei". The story is about Berry an enthusiastic young girl that broke her Deco in one eye, and with that eye that can see real life, she discover a Yurei and follow it.

It´s a great and particular Psy-fi context about the interaction with the humans with Augmented reality, even with the dark stuff and concepts like being manipalated it doesn´t feel edgy, it feels like some real evolution of the world interacting with advanced RA in a daily way. The mistery is pretty decent even if it was managed in a simple way it´s Enjoyable.

Art (9): It´s great, it´s not generic at all, pretty unique, really stylish, a little cartoon witout being excesive. the mood is entertaining, chill and crazy, feels like Psi-fi Eizouken with less budget, but great anyways. the concept of a world with RA has very interesting ways to show it, and it´s great how they managed it. As I said with the story, it never falls to edgyness even when something could be edgy. I love how they animated how the people interact with the world and in general how the characters move. Art is a main reazon to see this series for his unique vibe. You feel that Masaaki Yuasa was here.

Sound (8)
Even if I would love that they focused even more in the OST, it still feels like the show. It is focused to be a companion for the story mostly, and this isn´t something bad, but when the sound is protagonist it is great, especially with sound effects. The in voices I would like to highlight Hack´s voice.

Characters (7)

Every main character is a little simple but really charismatic and a little cartoon, specially the two mains, Hack and Berry, and even when they aren´t like Berry parents they have a little something that I don´t know how to say it, but you can say they have been done good. Any way they feel simple except for Hack which has very unique ways to express.

Enjoyment (8)

Not sure what to say different to what I have already said, I really like it, it was entertaining, it have good pasing and is already a little hidden gem, It has interesting concepts and personally his only big flaw is not knowing how to make it notice to the ones that didn´t knew about the series with that synopsis and with that poster that in small could be the poster of Peeping life or something

In the first Chapter we see a girl walking, then she just sits and a random girl just change with her a Spicy taiyaki, and that´s all. With that we know it´s just a short anime form a little studio that want to show what they can do animating stuff without pretending anything else. It´s a slice of life comedy that don´t want to make you laught, just smile in a chill way.

And with that point of view, is pretty good, you can just see the art which is great for a little studio, and relax, I don´t think there is more to say, ... if you want big stories it´s not for you, if yo want to relax and see cute colors give it a chance. also the joke become better every episode

My only problem is that the opening is pretty funny with the crabs stuff, like an absurd comedy, not a relaxing one, and I wanted to see that kind of weird humor, but that´s ok

The problem of a good concept is that if is doing bad all the concept fall, personally the concept of mayoiga is great, (spoilers) a place where everybody who wants to scape of the reality want to go because its a place hard to find out of the civilization, but is the worst place of the people that want to scape because they have to deal face to face (literally) with the things that they don´t want to admit, why? because is a monster that do that shit and is anime so fuck the reazons.

The plot is good, why could be wrong? to me a ... lot of characters, like, at least 18, and is not like the other characters are the best ones of the industry, is that a lot of characters surplus, i mean ok, is logic that if you want to do your own village you have to have a lot of people, but the writer wanted that we care about every one, i lost a lot of time trying to remember all the names because probably they would have something to do, and i wasn´t wrong at all, the fatty one was actually a little important, the rapper that i thought was only put to be the rapist that die first was important, but the fucking Lion, the best character if we talk about design, that was introduced with powers of see shits about death and was like the god of something like a religion, don´t do nothing.
or the fucking psicopath.

One of the biggest problems of the characters are the overacted that they act, specially the living stereotype of the Pseudo-clever character that looks like the boss and analyze shit and have glasses and loose the control when all go down, that is mentally unstable because one day he just don´t organized something in the toy train convention, and that makes him a psicopath that want to burn people like a witch hunter.

Well, this is getting a little too long, and as you can see, i don´t speak english very good, the truth is that this anime have a lot of points where we can attack, but the special reazon of why i wanted to do this review is because i thing that (like in this anime) a lot of people is exaggerating, i mean.

1/10? ok is not ergo proxy we know it, but is not that bad, first of all the general concept, second the opening is not that bad, not all the past where shit, i mean someones have very good concepts, and is logical that all the people that don´t want to life in the society have psychological problems, for example i enjoy the reazon of the protagonist to go to the town and get a new life, to get a new identity that is his own identity, i like the way of how the anime turn to be a scary sobrenatural story to a antiscapist one, i liked that a lot of moments wasn´t predictable, i liked how they do to make a stuffed penguin scary, i know that is not a great anime, but i doesn´t mean that deserv a 1 or a 2 like something that didn´t wanted to do a interesting story.
