An insane protagonist. Everyone else is totally evil. Some nudes and lots of gore.
The whole story happens in the immediate. The protagonist keeps on making these elaborate plans, which are always revealed a second after they are enacted, which builds no expectation at all. In this regard, the mangaka (and probably the original writer) shows their lack skill over of setup, reinforcement and pay off.
The concept WAS interesting at the start. The hero having "dark magic" sealed and having it unsealed after he dies and is reborn was indeed a good twist. But said "dark magic" is just a deus ex machina with a different
...
name. It creates stuff. It makes illusions. It manipulates people. It destroys. It launches flame tornado attacks. It transfers souls here and there.... It has no rules, and thus the protagonist only needs to extand his hand, sparks fly, and he wins. Every. Single. Time.
Furthermore, this revenge trip is totally emotionless. The protagonist seeks revenge for his sister, but we only see the last two pannels of said revenge, which happens off-camera and gets explained 20 chapters later. He seeks revenge for the soldiers that.... umh... we did not know he had any soldiers working for him the previous page. He seeks revenge for the demon children that were being sold as slaves? Yeah, sure.
This is recommended for anyone who likes gore, does not mind nudity, and hates a good plot.
