Both series came out right around the same time and deal with a magic system (BNHA=Quirks/BSD=Gifted) in a modern setting. Minus the prevalence of quirks in the BNHA universe, you can almost imagine BSD as a more mature BNHA (I say mature just meaning their ages because Dazai is 22 and a brat). With 90% of the characters being 18+, school life isn't a theme in BSD at all, but the story revolves around a group of gifted individuals that work for the "Armed Detective Agency," a parallel to BNHA you could draw as more of what it would be like for the characters after graduating UA. While BNHA introduces you to their ensemble cast as a whole in a shorter amount with mass displays of quirks, BSD gives you the opportunity to really meet each of the main characters one-on-one with half of season one giving you an episode dedicated to each one. What is amazing about how the two really overlap is how their ensemble casts really have well rounded/developed characters and everyone I know that has watched both always seems to have a different favorite main character because of all the great options presented to you.

I've described Hundred as being like a Dr. Frankenstein creation between Buso Renkin and Kill la Kill; so If you liked Hundred (or weren't satisfied by it), try out Buso Renkin for a show that I believe to be the next step up. The idea of personality based weapons is explored more in Buso Renkin than it is in Hundred, along with more character development. However, don't watch this if what you liked about Hundred was the ecchi and harem aspects.
