When it comes to Violet Evergarden, people usually either love or hate it.There is no in-between.And to be honest, I can understand why.And simply put, people who went through a hard life will feel stronger emotions during the series, than those who had little to no struggles in their life. Some say the art is a mask for the poor plot, but to be honest, those are usually just people that nit-pick any show they can, acting all "MVP and smart", when in reality its simply an emotional show. The characters develop, the artwork is just right, the music hits you at right times. To be honest, I
...
cried more to Violet Evergarden than I did when I watched Your Lie in April. Not saying that YLiA is bad, just referencing. And Violet Evergarden was harsh, it was very harsh. The protagonist was hit by sad reality, was judged because of who she was, didn't even know who she was herself. But, she still wrote down emotions of other people:those that they couldn't speak out.And thats why I loved this show.It was one of the best things I've ever seen, it hit close home with a few episodes, heck, even those episodes I didn't relate to, I cried my heart out.Even if it wasn't a sad episode, I cried because of how honest it was.I don't know if I wrote the kind of review you wanted, but these are my personal emotions and why I really love that show.

Welcome to La Soleil! The café with a lot of cute catgirls, a true cat paradise!
Hi!I'm pretty sure you came here for a "Oh, the animation was...", "Oh, the characters are..." type of review. But nope!I'm sorry to break it to you.Instead, I'll be telling you a short story on why I love this franchise so much and how it helped me feel better during some dark times. If you want my opinion on the animation/plot/sound etc., go to the bottom bellow the hearts!
Okay, when it comes to Nekopara, I have seen two kinds of opinions on twitter:
1.) It's super cute!Adorable! I love it!
2.)This is such a joke,
...
people are only in for it because of the NSFW game!
I first played the game back two years ago as a horny teenager.First walkthrough, skipped all the dialogue so I could get to the steamy parts.Honestly, didn't think much of it back then. But, about a year later, I started playing for the sake of the story because I was in a very, very dark place back then. The stress I had at school, family problems, there was a lot and I was at one of the worst points in my life.I was desperate and binged a lot of different shows that included dark themes, making me feel even more depressed. One day I stumbled uppon nekopara once again on steam. The REALLY cute design catched my eye once more, and so I installed the game again and began reading.A few weeks later, I felt like a different person.I wasn't feeling as sad anymore because I knew I had cute catgirls waiting for me at home, no matter how bad my classmates treated me or how much my family yelled at me.I knew that once everyone was asleep,I'll be owning a café with catgirls that love me more than anything.
And, after new years, when I saw the anime started airing, I started crying. Finally! And I watched it.Now, it finnished airing. This anime made me cry not because of the story, but the memories it awoke in me.No, you probably won't be loving it this much.Yes, its okay to judge and call it cringe. But, please let us people who loved this enjoy it! Thank you for your time ♡

Story: 8/10
-As far as the story goes, it's quite cutesy, girly and includes a lot of slice of life elements. The world with humanoid catgirls is truly fascinating and has a lot of detail to it.And the events that follow from first to last minute, are all very relaxing, funny and adorable!Moist!
Art: 9/10
I can not stress this enough! The fashion in this show is just GOALS.I wish I had a closet with such items, truly!Besides that, everything looks quite smooth and crisp. So soft, you wish you could poke Chocolas cheeks! And fluff Cinnamons hair!
Sound: 7/10
The opening is quite upbeat and happy, reminds me of candy pop or kawaii edm.A nice song to start the day with! The ending is more relaxing and I'd say it's good to listen to at night, before sleep.I didn't pay much attention to the ost tho.
Character: 8/10
Even tho sometimes cringey, all the catgirls remind me of little kids.I love the idea of the cats being named after cake/icecream flavors A LOT! I even named my own 3 cats Chocola, Vanilla and Maple!Even tho they're not with us anymore.RIP to my favorite cats <3
Anyway, Each character seems quite different from the other, each has their own opinions and tastes and I'd say there is something for every viewer to find and love! You will definitely find a catgirl you like!
Enjoyment: 7/10
I'd say this is a show to watch when you're a bit stressed maybe, when you wanna relax and see something overly girly and cute, and a show you could watch with your little cousins!I did at least~
Overall: 10/10
I can't thank the producers enough for turning this game into an anime.I enjoyed every second of it, despite the lower scores in previous categories.I hope you enjoy your stay at La Soleil, the catgirls are waiting for you!! ♡

So since I felt like this show needed more reviews I'll put my heart into writing one!Spoiler-free!
Story: 9/10
It's a simple story about every day life for a women that has a hard job and a variety of co-workers.It can get very relatable at times, and make you laugh all the time.I often feel bad for Retsuko, and can't help but laugh at her anger issues through the series. The story though, seems like it has no end:That's not bad to be honest, quite entertaining and catchy!
Art: 8/10
The art is very cartoon-ish and cutesy, simple with nice colouring.I didn't pay much atention to it, but when you do its
...
quite enjoyable.
Sound: 7/10
If it wasn't for the sound I doubt I would have enjoyed it as much. The best part is Retsukos metal screamo!
Character: 8/10
I really liked that instead of humans, we have animals living through human struggles! And a variety of them on top of it!So many personalities and a variety of conversations in between them.Very nice!
Enjoyment: 8/10
I watched this show instead of studying for my final in latin.Except for the fact that I hate latin, you can probably tell if I enjoyed it or not! uwu
Overall: 8/10
This show is pretty much for everyone! And I hope you all watch it, and as Retsuko says: "Gotta be reddy for tomorrow!"

Cute girls doing cute things has been one of my favorite things since I became weebtrash.I really enjoyed a lot of these slice of life shows, some were better than others, but K-On! is the first one to become one of my favorites fast.So here is a little review, with slight spoilers I guess ^w^
Story: 8/10
I really like to watch shows that show an anime high school girls' life. And this anime has a lot of that.It all started with the protagonist Yui starting her high school life and not knowing what club to join. She used to be good at a silly kids instrument in elementary
...
school so she choosed to join the light music club. There she met 3 other girls, they became friends and so the story began.Fun time all over the place.I wish they practiced a bit more though, loll
Art: 10/10
I LOVED how they made their uniforms fit them. The clothes looked so light and sweet on the characters, their overall expressions were cute and the background was pretty af!I even wanted my room to be like Yuis room!Oof ,inspiring!
Sound: 9/10
The opening, ending, everything was so nicely done.It kind of reminded me of lovelive, exept that in lovelive it's an idol group and here we have a real band named HTT.The ost was relaxing and fit into every scene correctly.Me likey!
Character: 8/10
Dammit, I can't really choose my favorite between Yui and Tsumugi. All the girls had sweet sides to them, even their teacher, haha. Most of the girls kind of inspired me to do better in some things, like, to be more happy and have real friends, etc.Cutest staff I saw yet!
Enjoyment: 10/10
I really enjoyed this show, nothing much to say.I might even look for the manga and get it, since it is really fun and sweet!I don't know if guys will like it or even some girls, but tbh everyone who enjoys cute things and funny stuff, you should give this show a try!~
Overall: 10/10
I recommend this show to everyone who'd like to just relax!

At the beginning of the year I decided to start watching regular mainstream and airing anime starting this season, and this was just one of arround 5 anime I started. To be honest, I doubt anyone will get offended with this, so here I go (._.)
Pastel Memories, Started 9th January, dropped 1st February.
Story: 3/10
At the beginning this seemed like an interessting idea.Like a view on the anime fanbase if the popularity died out, or something like that.I thought it was a nice, new plot I haven't ever seen before, so at that time I would have given this anime a 7/10 perhaps. But of course they had
...
to ruin it fast.In the beginning the workers at the maid cafe wanted to find all volumes of some manga a customer requested.Well, they went on and checked all 6ish anime stores in Akihabara to search for it, and found all volumes. But then instead of ending it there, they had to add some "virus" that deletes peoples memories of the manga ,and then some more shop members had to teleport without any reason to take over the shop even if noone ever visits it (Like, one customer a day is max. they get), and then a weird ass rabbit came and telemported them inside the manga, just so they'd have a dumb fight with the "virus"? Overfilled with useless clishes. Not cute.
Art: 5/10
The only thing that I think is avarage in this show. There are bright colours, some pastels and the overall art is fine.I liked the backgrounds most, but for hells sake why are there 8 pairs of oversized tits?I don't even care if they're all titty thots but everything has a point where it should stop, even anime titties.
Sound: 2/10
The only thing I can remember is the openings sentence "Believe in sky" ,there is nothing memorizable about the OST, the ending is pure skipping material and the voice acting was meh.I didn't really pay much attention to this, since it's bad I'm fine with not listening to it as much.
Character: 2/10
To be honest, there are too many clishes and one girl sounds like she came straight out of nekopara, one is like a magical girl and one is the clishe main protagonist, I'm very dissappointed because aren't these supposed to be a little bit more mature as shop keepers? Not just be all kawaii-desu-nya-san.Yikes, time to flex on these girls with my waifu xd
Enjoyment:1/10
I was dead bored with this show since episode 2.I couldn't stand it.Not.A.Minute.More.
I literally had to stop cuz I didn't want to waste my time, I had better shows to watch and complete while I'm still not head over heels in homework and tasks.
Overall: 3/10
Don't remember if I ever dropped an anime, even if I started watching anime as an otaku 4 years ago.I finished all series I started, but this was apsolute bullcrap.I even finished pupa, an even worse anime, just because it wasn't this long.If this wasn't 12 episodes x 20ish minutes, I might have watched to the end.But frick I ain't spending more than an hour on this shit anymore. There are better shows to watch, and pastel memories just can't be on that list.
