YES I'm so glad you think so too! The excess description may seem pointless to some people but I think it can add so much to a story as long as it doesn't get out of hand. I hope they enjoy it too, I'll always be trying to introduce it to people whenever I can. Do you have any friends you watch anime with, or is it something you prefer to do on your own?

That's some very high praise, but even early on I'm able to start seeing why. Seriously can't wait to get into character backstories because I have several good friends who have been raving about how well they're done. Don't worry though, I luckily went into Gintama knowing that it would only have action here and there, so I'm not disappointed at all :D

That's so true, but luckily the heavy descriptive writing didn't bother me too much since I'm so used to it with all of the other books I've read- I kinda skim over those parts though. I don't think I actually read the Morpho fight in the LN because I just picked it up on the very last chapter of volume 3. It is underrated for real, but luckily I've been seeing a lot more love for it lately and meeting a surprising amount of people who have it among their favorites as well! ^^ The last couple episodes were so fantastic, I'm hoping to show my friend who is pretty new to anime 86 as her second show!

Character-driven series can have so much charm that not too much plot is needed (and I'm saying this as someone who LOVES a good plot). Would you say Gintama has one your favorite cast of characters in anime? The arc I've heard has the best plot is the Shogun Assassination arc (which sounds so damn cool ahh) but i know it's gonna take a LONG time before I get there ahah- guess I'll sit back and enjoy the ride until then :D

AHH then that means 2 of our top 3 favorite animes are the same, that's so cool! It was the same for me, at the time I had never read a light novel but when Pt. 2 went on break I decided to read ahead to see what happened. Also was it just me, or was the scene of them meeting written in a sorta confusing way in the LN? I had to read that chapter like 3 times for me to comprehend what in the world just happened and I have no idea why. Maybe my brain was just dead :'D That last episode though was SO SO amazing I was losing my mind. Like they just need to confirm the next season ASAP!

And wowwie I'm surprised it took that long for you to end up really liking it, but I certainly have high hopes for the later episodes and getting to know the characters while seeing a bit of plot too ^^

I see you're also a fan of Gintama, so I have a question for you: what point in the series did you start to really love the show? I'm only around episode 24 I think and am not quiteee hooked yet, but I heard the quality only keeps going up and up as the series goes on.

How are you liking Vinland Saga s2 so far? I think Mappa is doing an amazing job adapting it, I love the extended stuff they're doing with Thorfinn and Einar building their relationship. Of course it doesn't measure up to the manga art but that's pretty much impossible since the manga art is so good.

Hey thanks for accepting my fr! Your profile looks really nice. I plan on starting Berserk soon, and I just got into the Vinland Saga manga which is amazing. The art is really great and I'm really enjoying the Slave arc so far. Love to see One Piece as your favorite, do you have a favorite arc?

btw did you notice the foreshadowing connection from the most recent chapter? stussy was first introduced 6 years ago in chapter 860 drinking giraffe juice on whole cake island, foreshadowing how she would attack and drink kaku's blood in 1072.
