Short Review, it's not for everyone. But if you are willing to sit through a darker Yuri story. It's a captivating character study and thriller about a crazy white hair girl causing horror and mayhem to her victims. It's a captivating read from beginning to end. I look at this story as a sort of subversion of the Yuri/Girls Love drama. Where the manipulative lesbian character who sexually coerces and/or abuses her victims is the main character. Hajime No Ippo is nothing short of one of my favorite anime ever made. I don't consider myself a sports fan, not even a sports anime fan. But I was immediately hooked by this anime. The characters of this franchise are all memorable, likable, and quotable. I can see myself actually knowing these people like their actual human beings. I remember watching the obscure OVA anime, Kuttsukiboshi. I was a fan of yuri anime during the time and I started getting into anime where cute girls make love. When I saw the first episode I was really interested in seeing which direction the series was gonna go to.
