Thank you for accepting the invitation.
It's not a big bet, it's a gift from the Three Wise Men (January 6 in Spain), a T-shirt with a drawing, if I win, it will be of Ippo Makunouchi. ;)

At first I accepted invitations.
Then I started sending them out because I had almost 1,000 friends after almost 2 years of being here.
And for the last week, it's been a bet with a friend.
Nothing special! ;)

Well, the only anime I’ve dropped because it’s really unsightly is Boruto... But, apart from this, I think that even objectively bad things can have some interesting aspects. Watching anime is not a job for me, but it’s not even just a hobby: if I can, I try to learn new things. At worst, if I really can't more, I just do not watch the following seasons. What about you?

Hi!
As for Megazone, I was interested in watching only the first episode, the only one directed by Ishiguro Noboru. Then, out of curiosity but without too much conviction, I also watched the second one but I liked it much less and so I didn’t even try to watch the last part. It may be that sooner or later I decide to complete it.

You're welcome. and thanks for friend request back. and isn't it obvious? 2000s, 2010s/2020s is way better than 80s or 90s. here's my completed anime, let me know if we have in common. https://myanimelist.net/animelist/AustinJackson20?status=2

Hah, yeah, you could say that I'm just burned out from the medium of anime, you'll rarely catch me watching anything that's not a Trigger or a Shaft show. I don't even follow what happens in the anime world anymore but I noticed there are some new Monogatari things so in the following days I want to watch them. Recently I'm mostly playing visual novels or indie smut games from DLSite to de-stress, and I have the thought in my head that I should try getting into manga someday. I think the burnout is amplified by how it feels like we get less and less cool, risky original shows and it's mostly just adaptations of already popular manga. I mean 10 years ago we got Kill la Kill, Space Dandy, Shirobako, Tamako Love Story, Zankyou no Terror and Psycho Pass 2 (even though the two last shows were a train wreck, at least they were still interesting). Now the only current original show that I can think of is Girls Band Cry.

That said Frieren is good, I can see why people love it. I watched ep 1, 2 and I skipped to episode 23 to check out what happens later. It's chill, it's pretty, I imagine the themes of appreciating the people and small things around you resonated with a lot of people. I started watching it with the expectation to drop it and so I did. Some things I didn't really like was Frieren herself, I think her detachment and disconnect from reality in the first episode was overexaggerated (it felt like she doesn't know how long a human life is even though it's stated that she knows) which made me dislike her a little. And I haven't compared the anime with the source material but the directing, especially during dialog, felt like a moving manga type of thing which I tend to be annoyed by, especially now when I have little patience for anime.

Hey, I was just browsing through MAL and I noticed that you still haven't finished watching Ousama Ranking, after asking me about my score of it over a year ago. Maybe I'm being paranoid but if it's because my answer was too spoilery then I wanted to apologize! Spoilers are something I don't care and don't think about, but I'm aware it can be a deal breaker for some

hi!! mugi is also very cute so i can understand haha. and yes, sangatsu was very good tbh, i liked hachimitsu to clover's manga more though. i don't think i'll watch the anime just cuz in most cases, if a manga is very good, chances are that the anime won't be able to cover all the goodness and details like in the hachikuro manga lol. very underrated works

I do usually notice people using lots of gif but they probably don't have many YT videos linked on their profile lol. It sucks how they don't show up or load well on the phone

Oh yeah it would be nice, I haven't talked to many users here on the website for the past two years so meeting more Haruhi fans would be a pleasant surprise

Sorry for the random friend request, but your Yuki pfp got my attention lol

Gween_Gween Aug 8, 3:31 AM
I'm pretty sure that I was referring to Machikado Mazoku and Kaguya back then, as absurd as that seems haha it is because I was talking about the "Opposites Attract" trope. I honestly haven't watched much anime lately so I don't think I have a specific recommendation that you haven't watched, I have heard that Birdie's first season exists in the same realm as Black Lagoon, Kakegurui, and Food Wars, but I haven't had time to watch the last two

wait you speak spanish?
