I loved the 2 seasons of this show, the ending however... had me very uneasy to say the least. (Possible indirect "spoilers" ahead)
The 2 seasons that come before are definetely amazing and had me binge watching, however the movie didnt really capture my attention nor did the storyline. I guess everyone would have their personal prefrences but i feel like the ending to the series is pretty cheap.
Not all negatives though, still a beautiful animation and some characters develop quite well (such as the Quintuplets father), the overall animation colour gradients etc. do make you feel like your there in the conversations and whatnot...
But
...
really the ending was cheap, they took the most under-developed sister, and the one with not much screen time compared to the others, and felt more like a supporting role to be honest and used her for the ending... Im sure many people agree that every other sister would have probably made more sense... or i guess it is personal preference. But I felt like it wasn't a very good ending to it.
Additionally nothing extreme happens after the first half of the movie, its just an hour of avoiding, and tying the knot of the story quickly, yet taking so long to do so.
This movie is a good watch, just dont really like how the whole series was put together. I would like to tell myself a day ago to just finish it with season 2. But yeah...
Im sure some of you will agree and disagree now or after you've watched (taste in shows/movies is subjective btw) but this is how i personally feel about this movie. Just not a good way to end a beautiful anime series.
Anyways, Definetly watch the 2 seasons of this show, before the movie, then i'd reccommend to watch the movie, don't come to conclusions though to say the least
Thanks!

Relatable - 2. Enabling a person to feel that they can relate to someone or something.
Thats one word for the MC. Smart, nice, but pretty lonely...
In "Toubun no Hanayome" the mc is quite relatable and the show is 'interesting' to say the least. Has good hooks at the end of each episode to keep watching it and you can never really come to a conclusion of who the mc gets with (So a harem genre...)
This show i'd say hooks you or drops within the first few episodes. So there is no harm in at least watching 2-3 episodes to decide wether you like it
...
or not. Personally, it was very enjoyable, Comedic and funny, character building is great and done well (ups and downs to keep you hooked), a good conclusion without a... well... conclusion? to the first season.
Only downside I can see is it may not appeal to some people, worth a shot at least, but it can feel overwhelming or not relatable enough, childish, 'lonely', etc.
Other than that a great watch and will probably watch in the future again.
Easily reccommend this show, and to all who are contimplating: just try 1 or 2 episodes :)
Thanks!

Horimiya is something definetly entertaining but lacks in very certain areas in my opinion. When looking for a romance the pacing and screentime is usually crucial.
However in Horimiya it feels like the main characters don't get enough screentime? and is a little too fast paced at the start? but hey, it still is good and defiently would watch again and reccommend since it gives a few giggles and chuckles here and there.
Horimiya (season 1) definetly is amazing enough for me to binge watch it in 1 night and could do again!
The series has alot of strong points aswell, very comedic, relatable (**Sometimes),
...
good angles, storyline, character introduction then building. The Art style is also great, and gives me a good chuckle sometimes.
However the ending leaves you on a certain uneasy feeling of not knowing the rest of what happens, but still has a good ending.
If looking for a good romance this is a great one to watch!
Would reccommend! Thanks!

I firstly have to admit i have a soft spot for the whole of this series...
Since its the first anime I watched ever, with my brother, i have some fond memories of it and its what got me into watching anime.
'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" is a series I cannot find a replicate of. I can't find a anime that i like so much that has a mix between: Serious scenes, Comedy, Progression, Slower Paced episodes, etc.
For me this anime is perfect in every sense (However take it with a grain of salt like i previously mentioned, I openly admit
...
i have a bias for this show)
But that being said ive watched this whole series multiple times, season 1-2 around 4-5 times, and once season 3 was out probably another 3 times.
Now a little less with my personal opinion:
The show has some amazing visuals, and overall feels set at a good pace (season 3 slows down quite alot, but from what i've interpreted its really just setting up the next season and movie). The show has some good themes and character designs that i will never forget. And to see a Slime go from zero to hero is a quite the spectacle.
The character building in this show aswell is done pretty well too, stories, backgrounds, building their personalities is always very captivating.
Im not much of a person to know how to describe the show but I'd definitely reccommend to anyone new to watching anime, this show first! I love it and am waiting for the next seasons to come out!
Highly Reccommend for anyone! Thanks!
