Honestly, I only give this a 10 because of how cute it is. There isn't necessarily a plotline, it's just a bunch of small stories, and each chapter is a new short story that follows along Shirokuma's day.
It's cute, it's silly, and it's a quick read, so if you're looking for something you can easily knock out in a day or two and something that it fun, this would be it.
If you're learning Japanese, buy the japanese manga for it. It has a bunch of panels that teaches you different words that either sound the same or look the same. I'm not learning
