I like this manga. The art style and character design is really expressive, and the writing is good enough that it generates enough atmosphere and intrigue for me to be excited about what might be on the next page. There is no next page after volume 2 though, so all anyone can really do is try and piece together the mystery from the bits of setup foreshadowing we got. It's very good setup and foreshadowing too, as evidenced by me still thinking about and returning to this manga once in a while despite having read it nearly a decade ago.

I'm pretty torn on this show. On one hand it is unbelievably infuriating to watch, but on the other it makes me laugh every time I think of it, and not in a bad way. It's a well told story about everyone in a school being a terrible person and hurting each other. Some of the parts are pretty fun, others just make you want to die. Animation is nothing special, same with the music, but the story does get a lot better once you realize it's basically one of the bad routes in the VN.
