Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch is extraordinary intelligent and a master of entertainment.
STORY
Season one of Code Geass ended with a cliffhanger, which sets the stage of season two. The story is past-paced and compelling, in no argument it is the best factor of this anime. Code Geass R2 is filled with complex plots and subplots along with its story line that will keep you hook until the very last episode.

for one third of the world. Even Japan has been taken over by the Britian Empire, the freedom of Japan has been lost, even its name has been replaced with a cold number, "number 11". The Black Knights, which is a rebellion organization lead by the intelligent high school student, Lelouch also known as zero, has set its goal for the freedom of Japan and the downfall of the Britain Empire. Although it is fantasy, most of it reflects on the reality of today and interchanging historical events. It focuses on the negatives of autocracy government, which is the Holy Britain Empire in this case. Also it deals with the corruption of power today, and the manipulations of the media.
ART
No doubt Sunrise has spent a hell lot of money on the animation, the battle scenes are greatly done, all the movements are presented pretty smoothly. The character designs are also pretty detailed and unique. The Mechas, known as the Knightmares, are also well done.
The original character design is illustrated by CLAMP. The characters are then converted into animation character for the series by Sunrise's character designer Takahiro Kimura, but it is done in such a way so that the character still shows much of CLAMP's original art.
CHARACTER
The characters have distinctive personalities. There character development from the first series of Code Geass wasn't too detailed, but in R2 it shows much more colors from these characters and especially Lelouch who had to deal with responsibilities and the moral of humanity, his relationships with Nunnally, Rolo, and Suzaku are all very distinctive.
ENJOYMENT
With the story line, the art, and sound put together, I'd still say it's the story that stands out the most. The battle plots are thought out well, it's like rather than killing two birds with one stone, the stone would kill the birds, manipulate the nest, destory the bough, cut the tree in half, and blow up the shit hell out of everything.
The animation and sound are put together greatly. This anime gives greatly enjoyment indeed.
None the less, it is very enjoyable for anyone who is looking for some entertainment. I praise for the revolution.
