Ok I'd like to preface this saying this show is seemingly very good. Like it has everything from a unique concept to great production values, and a BANGER OP. With that said I still dropped it because after a certain point the plot was hard to keep up with.
Spoilers for epsiode 3: where I belive I lost interest is where the child who the story was being told from the perspective of is killed and we switch perspectives to a new character.
This has and always be a feat that is hard to pull off and I really have only seen at most 5 shows/manga

I'm very disappointed in this show, everybody and their mother has told me this show crushes Tokyo Revengers (a show I quite enjoy) but really it's kinda boring.
It's all flare no substance, I wouldn't even compare the 2 series on anything other than being about delinquents and even that's a stretch. Cloverwork does excellent with the visuals and animation, being so fluid and the voice acting cast is great but the story is just, lacking. I think the "hype" around this show from enjoyers was more from a visual standpoint; because I'm sorry but story wise Tokyo Revengers crushes this show in it's first epsiode. If you ... |
