this anime is really good until episode 12..

the last episode just didn't have that impact because of happy ending probably. and the cat girl which should be the main villain (i think) didn't do anything, she literally doing nothing LOL

the music is great, character development is good, story is pretty good too, and the animation is great! it just the last episode that almost didn't have any impact and kinda ruin it. i mean i'm in tears when oto leave and adashino just reduce to dust then the scene where oto finally say thank you to sumireko. i'm fine with happy ending like this, but ... that doesn't mean you can just make adashino spawn on a "anomalies" bookstore LOL

overall it's 7/10 from me, it'll be a 8/10 if the last episode didn't ruin it..
time to read the manga i guess

If rushing an anime is a speedrun category, this anime probably will hold a world record!

the first 2 episode is really good and it set the bar pretty high for this anime, but then it all went downhill from that. even the animation quality went down until the final episode where it look a bit better than the rest.
the story rushed, no world building, no character development and they make Oscar look like a horny prince that really want to laid the Azure Moon Witch LMAO

i never read the LN, but i heard the LN is much better than whatever this shit is. and if ... this anime sole purpose is to sell more LN copies, then why you make a S2 announcement right after this anime ended?? it doesn't make any sense..

overall, it's 4/10 from me.

Underrated anime this season for sure!
i thought this anime will atleast get some recognition because it have Sci-fi element in it, but nope! i haven't see anyone talk about it apart from that 1 Garnt video where he make a rundown of every anime this season (which is how i found this gem)

okay now get to the review.
the art maybe put some people off and that's understandable, but for someone that love a classic anime look like me, i really love it!. maybe don't judge a book by it's cover and try to watch it and you'll probably like it.

the premise is just a cook ... named Takumi that become a head chef for making breakfast on small boarding house called Astro Lodge and fall in love with a girl from outer space named Mira. the story itself is nothing special, it's light and really good to binge while you're exhausted from work or something, it'll certainly give you a pretty good laugh!

the opening song is really good! it try give that old japanese anime vibes and it deliver. the ED song is a bit forgettable but it still okay-ish

overall it's 8/10 for me. don't look down at this anime just because it have 6.61 rating, it deserve atleast a 7 for sure

i just get into Mini 4WD again and decided to watch this anime, and here's a short review from me.

First, this anime really aged like it should, it's repetitive and really predictable. i can still enjoyed it as a 21 years old, but it's because i've watch some of the episode from TV when i'm still a little kid so nostalgia play a big factor here.
second, i already said that it's really predictable because the MC got a huge plot armor, win at the end and the bad guy lose everything. but it's a kid anime from the 90's so it's fine i guess.
third, the ... race scene sometime feels pretty boring, but sometime it still gets me pretty excited especially when Gou unleashed the Magnum Tornado. but for real tho, who the hell let this kid race on an active volcano LOL.

in summary, a lot of kids under 10 and some older gen that wanna watch it for nostalgia reason should be able to enjoy this anime, it really show what 90's kid anime looks like.

while it's not a canon story, it still have that Spy x Family charm to it!

this movie Upgrade everything! like more expression on every character especially Anya, she got more expressive on this movie. the visual while it's not the most beautiful, it still really good!
Story is really simple, but they manage to make it exciting for the viewer. you don't need a lot of braincells to understand the story and the plot coz it's really simple. the villain well, kinda goofy. i mean it's Spy x Family sothe villain is not those really evil individuals that want to destroy the world or something.
but ... the most important part is i got a really good laugh on some part, like a really really good laugh that i almost can't breath inside the theatre LOL.

overall this anime pack a ton of fun, joy, and warmness just like the main series. So if you haven't watch it, i recommend you to watch it!

premises is great, like who the hell can ever imagine about Zhuge Liang got reborn in a modern Japan?

the 1st episode really hooked me up because light everywhere, loud music, and stuff and it carry on till the end of 1st half.
the 2nd half really slow the paced down which i don't mind at all but after that fast paced 1st half, the 2nd half makes it kinda underwhelming. don't get me wrong, it's still good but it deducted a point from me.

Music is really great! 96neko really fits EIKO personality when singing. and Kabe rap is really good too! opening and ending song really ... catchy.

overall it's a good anime with a banger song. highly recommended!

Overtake!
I was expecting this anime to be like a pure racing anime but i was wrong. there's not a lot of racing happening here but it still pretty good!. well yeah it's kinda cliche when they save the podium on the last episode but the story is good enough for me that i won't give it a 6 just because some cliche like that.

I think the title Overtake is not a literal car Overtaking each other on circuit but it's more like how you can Overtake (overcome) yourself, how you can overcome your past. and this anime deliver the message pretty ... well.

The drawing and the animation is pretty good, but not so much for the CG, it still bearable but still not that good. sound design is pretty good. and I LOVE THE OPENING AND ENDING SONG!

overall it's a solid 7/10, it kinda lack of something, and didn't really pack a punch (except for the earthquake episode). but still pretty good!
