A beautiful story about how small actions are important and can change a person's life.
This is about a girl who finds the opportunity to mend mistakes by sending letters to herself in the past. The form found for this is not surprising or flashy, but this anime is not meant to be a great Sci Fi, the focus is totally emotional, so I found this part to be rewarding and even beautiful for having a fanciful and dreamy side: If we write a letter and release it in the wind, is it possible that in another reality we can find it in time to avoid ... repentance?
The protagonist must overcome her own insecuritys and introversion throughout the episodes, to ensure that the greatest regret of her life is not repeated. The development of the protagonist and the other characters shows the importance of showing affection and concern for those we love and overcoming barriers if it's necessaire to their sake.
A weak point of the work is the obfuscation of some characters, while the main trio gains great prominence. The opportunity to convey valuable lessons about what depression is and how it works has also been lost.
Although not especially fanciful in technical details and somewhat flawed in narrative, this does not prevent the story from being a remarkable shoujo with a creative premise and a strong message.

A story that becomes increasingly addictive, and does not disappoint at any time.
The artistic part is definitely worth highlighting, all the characters are beautiful, especially the inhabitants of the sea, with their flashy blue eyes.
The fantasy world idealized by the anime is well built and engages you. Shioshishio, the marine village, is like a dream. hardly a spectator would not feel the desire to arise in that reality. But I would like the culture of this people to be more unique and not so close to the people of Earth, which would make the quarrel between the two worlds much more interesting.
Among the conflicts experienced ... by the characters, what most caught my attention was the fear of change. Time can take away people, moments and feelings, but there comes a time when we have no choice but to embrace the present, otherwise we would be stuck with something that no longer exists.
All characters are unique and go through an evolution that is enjoyable to keep up with. Especially in the second half of the anime, where a very important event happens.
Strongly recommend to any fan of fantasy, drama and romance.

Are you going to love it or hate it?
  The anime begins with basic cliches of a romantic comedy. A seemingly slow protagonist who is in love with a beautiful girl, and a love triangle between these two and the boy's best friend.
  However across the episodes, the anime reveals itself completely different from what it suggested earlier. And as if a twist in the middle of the anime was not enough, the ending is totally mindblow.
  I confess that I liked the story development, the girls that integrate the protagonist's harem have well-made personalities, and the transition of personality ocurring with the protagonist itself, ... who becomes increasingly selfish, culminates for a surprising end.
  Regardless you like it or not. I believe that hardly anyone forgets this anime, it is not a story that goes unnoticed.

Probably the anime that best portrays life and relationships from the feminine point of view.

  Story: Two girls with very different personalitys, came to live together and play a role of such importance in each other's lives. In the course of the anime we follow the dreams and disappointments that circulate the life of the protagonists. As time passes and the changes emerge the story leaves a feeling of nostalgia and melancholy.

  Sound: The reason why Nana works just as well as an anime is the flawless soundtrack. Music has a role of extreme importance in that story, and the anime has been able to ... use this in his favor perfectly.

  Character: The characters are very real, none of them are portrayed as good or bad. Everyone has their regrets, their pains and their make mistakes. We see funny friendship moments, the ups and downs of being in love, and relationships that seem solid to slowly fade away. We feel the loss, the pain and the good times together with them, since everything is so subtle and identifiable with real life.

A total disappointment of expectations
I was so eager to see Enoshima Junko in action, using the weakness of the characters to manipulate and bring them to the vision of a world sunk in despair.
But nothing happened as expected, instead of the characters slowly falling into despair, the first episodes were a tedious slice of life that could not even create sympathy for the characters (almost no one would connect to any of them except those who played Danganronpa 2) and nearly to the end, Junko uses literally BRAIN WASHING in the characters, instead of the influence and the gab that I expected from the character ... that I devised as a genius of manipulation.
Chiaki's presence in the anime was just a fan service and destroyed the essence of the character in the game.
When this anime is analyzed individually (regardless of the game), it gets even worse. The only really interesting parts are those created especially for anime, but those who came from the second game has lost their essence completely.

The perfect combination between comedy, romance and drama.
It all begins when the protagonist, who is introduced as a carefree and womanizer guy ,becomes responsible for the care of Yuzuyu, a little girl who was left behind by her mother.
All the characters and relationships within the story are well built and wonderful to accompany. As the protagonist clings to Yuzuyu, we see his personality evolve and mature.
In addition to the fun scenes and sweet romantic moments, the work also has tense and dramatic events, bringing the theme Bullying, loneliness, abandonment and domestic violence.
one of the most hearthwarming, touching and real shoujos ever made.

The anime manages to assume a controversial theme and represents it subtly and the development in only thirteen episodes manages to be coherent, accompanying the real dilemmas that afflict our characters, which in turn are real and captivating.
Sexuality has a constant presence in history, but never vulgar or forced. in fact, are dramatic and beautifully crafted scenes that really capture the essence and desire of the characters.
Incest is a recurring theme in anime, but I was surprised by this work that innovated the theme and took it to another level, bringing a flawless romantic drama. At no time, the story is based on what is ... shown as right or wrong. It is up to the viewer to draw their own conclusions about the controversial novel between an adult man and his little sister.

A sweet surprise
Especially for me, as a confectioner, this anime is extremely enjoyable and actually really rich in information. Within the Kodomo genre, this is a masterpiece.
Characters: Personalities are common but likeable and fits perfectly within the anime, from the clumsy protagonist to the little fairies named after sweet flavors
Story and enjoyment: Each episode becomes more addictive, especially after the characters begin to participate in contests, that make you get involved with the themes and solutions they come up with.
Art: the sweets are gorgeous and the fairys are very cute. Although the art is not particularly striking, the colors, designs and creativity compensate.

This anime is proof that not even a good art and soundtrack are capable of saving an ill-developed story and shallow characters.
 The play accompanies five friends who separated after a group's member (Menma) dies,when they were still children, then ten years later the ghost of this little girl returns and asks the help of all of them to realize a dream and than able to rest in peace. This premise could have resulted in a masterpiece, but unfortunately all the effort in the creation of the story was dismissed in unnecessary events, mostly involving unrequited love and misunderstanding between the characters.
None of ... these characters are real or enjoyable. Except perhaps for Popo, the only character who provides fun scenes to the anime and presents a real drama in the dramatic climax ,that does not involve a love triangle, jealousy or passion for a ghost with child mentality (Giving a mature body to a girl who actually have five years old, does not make it less strange the interactions in which she is posed as object of passion and desire of two grown-up guys).
The group not only carries sadness and blame for the event that killed her friend, but they have become teenagers altogether sad, broken and obsessed by the dead one. While two members of the group remain in love with the little girl (one of then even have the sick behavior to cross-dress like her), the two girls left over are consistently dwindling and hating themselves for not being as beautiful and perfect as their late friend. That is, they all put the little girl on a pedestal but never see her as she really is: Just a child who died very early, whose should be directed brotherly love and friendship, not the sick passion and jealousy she receives.
The final scene is beautiful, or at least should have been, but as no later event in the anime develops friendship and feelings of unity and commitment between the characters, this scene becomes just too melodramatic and unconvincing.

 As drama this anime is forced, as a lesson of friendship and overcoming is flawed, and as a romance is simply pathetic and cringy.

12 long episodes of the same plot repeating itself. One of the teenage characters is completely in love with a person they can not have and then solves that void by having sex with someone random or becoming the sex toy of the loved one.
  The characters are far from deep, since everyone has the same pain (unrequited love) and the same comfort (sex). There is no character or relationship breakthrough that is captivating within this anime. Except for the teacher, who actually breaks some cliches and has an interesting presence.
  The anime tries to convince you that it is deep, full of monologues, and ... existential crises, especially on the part of the protagonist. But in the end, the story is poor and does not bring any worthwhile reflection.
