Let me start by saying that this anime is way better than it seems at first glance.
At first the fairy forms of the men look strange but you'll get used to it quickly.
This show seems confusing at first, but I've rewatched it over 6 times now and still find easter eggs and foreshadowing that makes Fairy Ranmaru better and better each time I watch it.
Yes, this has multiple kisses between men but despite what they say, this is NOT about romance. It definitely handles mature themes like suicide, abuse and the darkness inside humans. Honestly this makes me think and I feel like

This has been in my watchlist for a long time and I finally decided to give it a shot, mainly thanks to the seiyuu cast.
And I was immediately impressed with the anime and the characters. I loved their design and their personalities and the plot was fine. A bit sad that Yusa ended up acting like an ahole most of the time, I think he would have been my type. I absolutely loved this anime and the friendship between the characters, the supportive big sis and the cute classmates - until episode 14. Starting from episode 15 I couldn't stand the main character anymore ...

This anime was an emotional rollercoaster from the start. I've been confused, scared, amused, in pain and grieved with the characters and now that I've seen the last episode I'm not sure how to feel.
Caligula makes you think about your own life and what happiness is to you. The first 4 episodes are confusing but if you continue watching you're rewarded with something good. The characters aren't really introduced until episode 10 of this (I think) and after they introduce themselves so much falls into place that had you confused at first, even though they give you some glimpses before.
