When I stumbled upon Mario, I expected something akin to Naruto. However, Kishimoto took a different route, and the result was both surprising and refreshing. In just under 45 pages, “Mario” manages to leave a lasting impression.
The art style, complete with blood-splattering scenes, sets the tone from the outset. Kishimoto’s mastery shines through as he weaves a concise yet intense narrative. The characters are so nicely written.
The brevity of Mario is both its strength and weakness. On one hand, it leaves us craving more—a desire to explore this world further. On the other, it’s a testament to Kishimoto’s ability to evoke emotions efficiently. Perhaps this

Parasyte by Hitoshi Iwaaki is an utter masterpiece of a work. The characters were so good, OMG! I loved them all. Each one is unique and adds so much depth to the story. The way the story progresses is just pure perfect. The plot twists and turns are so well-crafted that you can’t help but be completely engrossed.
The artwork is mediocre but trust me the writing takes the cake. And the ending? It’s so good, but I ain’t spoiling it for you. Trust me, you need to read this manga. It’s an unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after you’ve turned the last ... Aug 11, 2024
Soukihei MD Geist 2: Death Force
(Anime)
add
MD Geist 2 is a rare gem in the anime world—a sequel that surpasses its predecessor. While the first *MD Geist* left me bewildered with its convoluted plot, the second installment managed to capture my attention and keep me engaged 👌
The story unfolds with more clarity, shedding the confusing layers that plagued the original. However, despite these improvements, *MD Geist 2* still falls short in some areas. The rushed ending leaves a lingering sense of incompleteness. One of the most significant drawbacks is the lack of positive connections with any of the characters. Geist himself remains an enigma, and the villains fail to evoke any ... Aug 5, 2024
Soukihei MD Geist
(Anime)

Ah, MD Geist! Let’s dive into this classic mecha OVA:
The Story: In the distant future, humanity has colonized other planets. One of these planets, Jerra, has been ravaged by decades of war. Enter MD Geist, a badass lead who defies the typical wussy-boy anime mold. The story is straightforward, dark, and nihilistic. No need for overcomplexity when you’ve got a powerful protagonist like Geist. 🌌 Animation and Style: MD Geist is a product of its time (the mid-80s), and it wears its retro badge proudly. The animation quality might not blow your mind, but it has a certain charm. Plus, it’s not afraid to get gritty ... Aug 4, 2024
Akane Shoten no Kaji Tenchou
(Manga)
add
As a newcomer to romance manga, Akane Shoten no Kaji Tenchou was a delightful departure from my usual shounen and seinen reads. The story revolves around Komatsu Saki, who unexpectedly finds herself working in a bookstore. Despite a tyrannical manager, she discovers feelings she didn’t anticipate.
What I Liked: Short and Sweet: The manga’s brevity made it an easy, enjoyable read. Artwork: The visuals were appealing and complemented the story. Refreshing: While not groundbreaking, it offered a nice change of pace. Areas for Improvement: Pacing: The plot felt rushed, leaving some character development and story arcs underexplored and most likely was ossible cancelled. ... Aug 3, 2024
Baki Gaiden: Scarface
(Manga)
add
Baki Gaiden: Scarface is a supplementary story that diverges from the main Baki series. While it attempts to explore the character of Hanayama, it falls short in several aspects. Here’s a breakdown of its strengths and weaknesses:
Lack of Relevance to the Main Storyline: One of the primary issues with Scarface is its lack of impact on the overarching Baki universe. Unlike other gaiden stories that enrich our understanding of characters or events, this one feels disconnected. It doesn’t contribute significantly to the main plot, leaving me wondering why it exists. Forced and Experimental: Scarface feels forced and experimental. The writing tries too hard to impress, resulting in a ... Aug 2, 2024

add
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if the dark fantasy of Berserk collided head-on with the epic battles of Record of Ragnarok, look no further than Kurogane no Valhalian. This manga seamlessly blends historical figures, intense combat, and a captivating storyline into a thrilling package.
1. Immaculate Storytelling: The plot is a rollercoaster ride of suspense and intrigue. Every chapter leaves you craving more, and the “next chapter” button becomes your lifeline. Without giving away spoilers, I can confidently say that the manga delivers one of the most perfect endings I’ve ever encountered. Prepare to be emotionally invested! 2. Artistry That Leaves You Speechless: Toshimitsu Matsubara’s art is nothing ... Jul 31, 2024
Hungry Joker
(Manga)
add
So, “Hungry Joker.” What a train wreck. The author must’ve chucked the plot out of the window and set it on fire. Seriously, the writing? Garbage. The art? Mediocre at best. It’s like they thought they were the Picasso of shonen manga. Newsflash: they’re not.
The lazy-ass drawings? Comparable to the original “One Punch Man” manga. No disrespect, but its shit. Dropped it faster than my parents dropped me at the orphanage 😭 💀 The character development? Nonexistent. It’s like the author took a bunch of cardboard cutouts, slapped some dialogue on them, and called it a day. 🙅♂️ In summary, “Hungry Joker” is the kind of ... Jul 26, 2024
Shamo” is an intense manga series that pushes boundaries and explores the darkest corners of human nature. From its gripping storyline to its evocative artwork, this manga will leave a mark on you.
1. Story and Writing: ★★★★★ “Shamo” doesn’t shy away from controversial themes. It delves into rape, murder, and prostitution, presenting a raw and unfiltered view of society’s underbelly. The writing is both brutal and captivating, drawing readers into the twisted world of its protagonist. The character development is exceptional, making us question our own morality as we follow his journey. 2. Artwork: ★★★★★ The art in “Shamo” is nothing short of breathtaking. The illustrations ... Often overshadowed by Baki this is an underrated piece of work by Itagaki. If you love Baki then you will 1000% like Garouden. It takes a more realistic approach than from Baki. Of course you won't be seeing randoms stopping an earthquake with a punch. Or men getting graped and people punching people through walls.
Even if you haven't read or watched Baki, you will still most likely still enjoy Garouden. A great manga for anyone whether you practice martial arts or have never had any interest in them. I would defo recommend. So stop reading these reviews and immediately go read it! |
