My highest hope is that most of the high ratings are somehow foul play. otherwise I have no hope for the anime community.
I really did like the manga back then (in the beginning, when the character still had some sort of personality), but watching it now felt like the blandest, most obnoxious power-fantasy for disillusioned boys.
