This anime is about rape and killing goblins. The end.
I wish there was more than that, but sadly, it's just the perfect anime to watch while looking at your favourite social media. It's original in its way but that's not enough.
While I was, of course, surprised too by the scenes of the first episode, which was a perfect 10, I was not necessarily disgusted or against that. And I HATE oversexualized scenes and characters, but this parts are done with a purpose: to show how dark a dangerous a fantasy world could actually be.
This is the first high point of Goblin Slayer. Yes, it has
...
some high points. The second one, is the action scenes. Very good visuals, gore nicely done, good sound, pace and they are very entertaining overall.
The low points are really really low and the most important ones: Story and Characters... and of course, some oversexualized characters but now with no sense and purpose to make the story even less serious.
Story (NO SPOILERS): The main character, Goblin Slayer, wants to kill all the Goblins because of what they did to his village and family when he was a kid. I watched 9 and it doesn't develop further than that. You could say it has no story and I wouldn't totally disagree with you.
Characters: Goblin Slayer travels with 4 other "party" members of which just one is meeted in a interesting way. None of them are interesting. The secondary characters are even worse, they compete to see who is the worst of them and the Witch is winning by far.
To sum up, Goblin Slayer is a non-Isekai anime that has similar elements to the ones that are, but by not being one and monsters not being made by computer, they are completly savage and organized in several different ways... sadly all the monsters we see are goblins.
This anime won't be remembered for other than it's violence. The presentation and proposal of its dark fantasy world is very good and could be inspiring for others in the future, but in this case, it was terribly developed. It gets a 6 and no less 'cause like I mentioned, it's original in its way and for the good fights that makes it enjoyable for 10 minutes every 2 weeks.

Reminder: Watch Steins;Gate, then episode 23b, then start Steins;Gate 0.
When I started 0, I was afraid it wasn't going to keep up the expectations. The original is probably the best anime ever and considered to be in the top 3 for several people... thankfully, it is as enjoyable as the original.
Story: 9. Steins; Gate 0 takes place in an alternative timeline, called "beta", the one where Mayuri lives and Kurisu dies. So instead of approaching the Steins;Gate from "alpha" like the original did, the characters try to get there from the other path, chosen by Okabe in 23b. This is all perfect and genius, but
...
some parts are poorly explained or doesn't make 100% sense, and that's why it gets a 9.
Art: 9.Excellent. The kind of animation used suits perfectly this anime. It's nothing stunning tho'. I wouldn't ask for more, but it could have done more.
Sound: 8. You won't remember this anime for its music or sound effects, but there are some particular moments where the music is used brillantly.
Character development: 10. You will discover a lot about almost every character, you will suffer with them, get happy with them and the ones with less emotional involvement, they already shone in Steins;Gate and now are still doing what they have to. Some characters will show an unexpected and very welcome side while others will express their emotions in ways you'd never imagine. The new characters are key to the plot and their personality is as good as the main original cast.
Overall: 9. It's an extremely enjoyable sequel, with no bad dialogues and with tons of revelations, sadly, some of the most important ones are very predictable or are waaay too convenient, but they are still very pleasing to watch. It abuses some of the elements that were surprising in Steins;Gate and it's less original to its predecessor but those things don't ruin much the experience and once again, they show why this is the best series about time travel in any media.

This is one of those animes you just need one episode to know it's good.
I gave this show and Enjoyment score of 10, Overall score of 9 and the score I'd like to put for real is the one that has right now, between 8 and 9, and I'll explain why.
Art and Sound: Nothing very memorable, but everything very enjoyable. The songs are good, from the OP and ED to the songs of the fictional band. Good visuals and the overall sound that's not music is nice too.
The characters: At the beginning we are presented with characters that look very cliché and dialogues too confusing
...
for the first minutes. As the show continues, we start to like them not for their personalities, but for the jokes... and oh boy they are good. Silly jokes presented in a very unexpected way that will caught you off-guard and you'll be thankfull for that. As the story continues, we start to love them one by one... but again, it's not the personality of each one the cause of that, but the whole original situation they are in with their background stories. There are lots of characters with a primary role in every episode and the viewer might expect more development for any of them... that won't happen, 13 episodes is not enought, but guess what, it won't hurt your overall experience much. There is fun in some of them not having a whole episode of background story, they are more mysterious and that helps to highlight the most important ones and their bonds. Some of those characters are there just for the jokes, but it's understandable that having just a little bit of information about their past and goals would have been better.
Story: Very original and touching. Lots of things going on in just 13 episodes, handled very well, separating the things when it's time to get serious and develop characters or when it's time to make jokes and move on with the plot. Decent action scenes too. Summary: The main characters are dead in some kind of limbo and decide to fight God because they think they died in a very unfair way and life itself is unfair, so they want to rule the new world they are in.
So... if the characters are not that great and original themselves, the art is good but not memorable and the story is great but confusing at times... why is it so good? It's the mix. This anime has it all: the jokes, the music, the very sad moments, the moments that will have you at the edge of your seat and the mystery around everything since nobody is certain of anything. The whole experience is indeed, memorable.

The key of this anime is how it makes you feel. Not only the characters feel the pain of each other, but you will too, be prepared.
Kiznaiver is about watching the feelings of the characters develop, while teaching you that not everyone is what you think, and you could be surrounded by missunderstood people in your real life too, as some of these situations, despite the crazy plot, could be happening to you right now.
- If you are someone that have difficulty feeling something for anyone or falling in love, this anime is probably not for you.
- If you consider yourself sensitive, this a must
...
watch and you will remember it forever.
This is like the Netflix series Sense8, but done right, the social clichés are not the star of the show here.
