This shit is edgy, goofy and cringe.

First off, the art isn't that bad but ON GOD THIS AUTHOR CANNOT DRAW FEMALES. This isn't a major issue but it bugs me cuz sometimes the females look like dudes wearing skirts, its so fucking weird its as if they're cross dressing.

Anyways, the story has a pretty cool concept but the execution is horrible.

The art is mid as fuck as I said the author just cant draw females and the blood in this look super goofy, ... the panels with a bunch of gore got me laughing pretty hard.

The dialogue is an abomination and super low effort, idk if its the translation but holly shit its bad

The characters are very 1 dimensional and the protagonist is edgy as fuck. The side characters are mid, the only stand outs are: The senior guy i cant remember his name and the female who's called goblin lady, who is actually drawn like a female.

Anyways I doubt the author put any effort into the dialogue, story and art so i wont put much effort either

Overall: 2/10, read this if you're downbad for another copy paste op protag thing.

Going to splitting this review into parts. I really liked the old MAL review style, this version really sucks but whatever.

Story: 7/10
First of all, I'd have preferred 2 cours for this one cuz the story doesnt really pick up till episode 6 or some shit idk i forgor. Yeah pretty cool story, I like Jujutsu Kaisen and the concepts for devils are pretty similar in this one so im cool with that. What i find really fucking hilarious is the the main big bad is apparently the fucking gun devil, that shit makes me laugh my ass off whenever I even think about that, ... ITS SO FUNNY. Anyways, I still would've loved 2 cours but goddamn that last episode had me bumpin my fists and cheering the fight on, goddamn that fight was hype as fuck.

Music: 10/10
GODDAMN THE MUSIC BY KENSUKE USHIO GOT ME HARD DOWN THERE. The soundtrack is fire. You've got metal, you've got piano, you've got techno and it all fits the theme of Chainsaw Man and the music placements hit hard.
Also goddamn they went hard on all those ending songs. 5 stand our endings, of course my Queen , Queen Bee was in this and goddamn that VIOLENCE song made me wanna dance and commit violent crimes, that was fire. Also Vaundy's ending is a 10/10.

Animation: 7/10
The animation is inconsistent but holly crap it unique. The CGI is also super good but bro yall gotta admit, when Aki told his curse to eat Katana man up, the CGI in that specific shot was so goofy i started laughing out loud LMAO THAT SHIT WAS FUNNY.

Characters: 9/10
Oh my god Denji is the funniest shounen protagonist out there. This mf is the total opposite of so many shounen protagonists and I love it. Aki is the coolest mf out there, Power may be annoying but she's cool. Also FUCK KOBENI I HATE HER, SHE'S SO ANNOYING. Himeno's seggsy bobs got me rock hard and when she put up her last stand and that song started playing, goddamn that shit hit hard.

Overall: 9/10.
I would've preferred another cour, some consistent animation, a bit less CGI, but overall, I really enjoyed this and I'd recommend this to anyone who just wants to have a fun time, enjoy a good story, connect with well written characters, some fun gore, a banger soundtrack and very unique animation.

I don't hate this anime, I just think its average and that's all. The animation is really pretty to look at, the CGI is really good and also it has a nice opening and ending song.
The story is also pretty cool, our 3 main characters go to a red light district with a Hashira to kill the big bad demon because the demon on a killing spree.

Summarized the plot and shit now time to get to what I like and dislike.

Likes-
Nice animation, it looks really pretty which is obvious. The fights are really pretty to look at and you can make out everything ... that's happening, very pretty and nice animation.

There's allot of CGI and its really good. Normally it distracts me but Ufotable makes it look really good and really nice to look at. Very Nice.

The Soundtrack is also pretty nice but not as good as season 1. The opening and ending songs are decent songs, but the OP doesn't set the tone for the show at all but thats okay I dont really care, no OST stands out in particular, it just blends in with the show and that's about it.

Nice and simple story. Big bad demon eating many humans, demon slayers notice it, go to the big bad demon's place to fight and they fight bam bam boom boom nothing too complicated.


Dislikes- Literally everything else.
The characters are annoying. For example one of the Hashira's bitches really gets on my nerves like fr I wanted to punch her so bad to just stfu, the main characters are okay no that annoying, Shounen protagonist Tanjiro is okay I guess, Screaming guy Inosuke is not as annoying compared to season 1, the wannabe funny guy Zenitsu is still kinda unfunny and he doesn't do that much in this season but okay. The main hashira guy is also pretty cool he fights with the big bad demons and its nice to look at. So then, what do I dislike about these? Well they're just mediocre and have zero personality and it kinda degrades the experience of watching the show.

Another thing I dislike is the plotholes and the big bad demons of this season. There are some major plotholes in this show and let me explain without giving too many spoilers. Tanjiro in some episode fights the main big bad and gets shit on like blood all over shit and also passes out, literally the next fucking episode hes fighting with those wounds like its nothing and kicking ass again, it makes no sense at all. Like dude, you just got cut with a goddamn sword, pass out and then the next episode you're back to kicking ass again like bruh wtf, I just there's no sense of danger at all that he's gon die or some shit like hes getting up every time he eats shit and its annoying its a huge plothole and it's not explained at all. Also nezuko somehow gets a buff without any explanation like suddenly she becomes buff and starts kicking ass it makes and it makes no sense but at least she became thicc so I dont mind that I got to see bob. Also another thing is that in the final fight and most of the fights they're just defying every single fucking law in physics and shouting at the top of their lungs, got earraped :/. Edit- I re-watched the last few episodes and remember when tanjiro gets tortured? Yeah the next moment they brush off that scene and he's back in full form again bro this shit really degrades the experience for me.

And also one thing I disliked is the tone in this show. It wants to be a comedy and a dark/gory show at a time. In some serious moments like when a character is fucking dying wannabe funny guy Zenitsu or screaming guy Inosuke starts cracking shitty jokes and disrupts the whole tone and I never felt like a single main character would die at all.

My next point, both of the big bads' backstory is just unnecessary. I dont give a fuck about their backstory one bit okay like dude yeah its sad and all but that doesn't matter one bit bruh like they've been killing humans for centuries how does a backstory justify mass killing bruh I just couldn't give a shit cuz in the first place they showed the backstory when they were dying and it felt super forced and akward like bruh get the fuck out of here, I dont give a fuck how sad your life is you both are mass murderers and enjoy what you do I dont have any reasons to feel sorry for you both like bruh. Well but I'm not gonna lit their backstories are pretty sad :'(.. but I don't care.

Basically, huge plotholes, shitty forced backstories, some fights break every single law of physics (yeah its fiction and all but..), the tone is all over the place (and horrible comedy) and annoying characters.


Anyways to sum this up I had fun watching this show and I don't hate it, I just think this was really weak and had some plotholes here and there and some characters were annoying but overall I enjoyed watching it and you can too.
