I read the manga back in like 2016 when it was pretty popular, and I remember enjoying it. So I don't know if I'm just getting older and the high school romance isn't my thing anymore, but I felt like the anime was just average good.
For 12 episodes, the anime was bound to omit quite a few things but kudos for them to cover from start to end with the limited episodes. Horimiya had its own qualities for a shoujo/romance series, but again, the high school life wasn't so interesting. The art is nice though. It kept to the manga's art style pretty well.

Koe no Katachi

Koe no Katachi follows Ishida Shouya's story of redemption to Nishimiya Shouko, a deaf girl whom Ishida bullied during elementary school.
This might be a typical school-life romance plot, but I believe there is more than just that. Bullying is a huge issue that has been ongoing in our world today. This movie brings into the reality of such acts. As much as this is an animation movie, I hope viewers realize that bullying is a major cause of suicides that happen every day. It is not just the bullied but also the bully. I hope others take action when witnessed and help each other ... Nov 4, 2014

I don't really usually rate something I watched or read, but this manhwa was an exception. This really is one of the best manhwa I have ever read! I strongly suggest many to read it, but if you are as sensitive as I am, be prepared for a lot of tissues xD
Love in the Mask is about an orphaned girl, Suh Hyun Bin, who was forced to live as a guy in order to survive. She isn't just your typical protagonist who lived a horrible life and then just magically becomes one who lives a perfect life. It is way much more than that. This ... Dec 30, 2013
As there are classical music, Rurouni Kenshin is like a classical anime. This has to be one of the best 90's anime ever! I heard many rumors about it, and I had decided to watch it a few months ago. Due to school and all, I paused around 50 until Crunchyroll started premiering it. I don't regret throwing away my work time for this anime. Although I say that, I haven't completely finished the whole series as I felt that the ending was good enough for me and the filters might just not satisfy me much xD
The plot and characters are perfect! It starts with ... May 11, 2013

I decided to watch this anime after a friend of mine recommended it to me. Before watching it, I searched it up and found that it was adapted from Victor Hugo's novel "Les Miserables." Reading the description, I really liked it and so I watched it.
Even now I love this anime so much. I have no idea how many times I cried and how many tissues I have used XDD Because of this anime, I'm deciding to also read the original novel. |
