All I want for Christmas is a Watamote anime sequel.
Bit of an outdated list, I need to reconsider my current ratings on some stuff.
At one point I put my personal thoughts into tags and comments, but honestly I barely bother these days. The current ones are also pretty old, so don't worry about them too much.

It’s nothing mindblowingly amazing but it’s very fun.

The plot isn’t something I could compare to any other anime, and the characters are pretty good though. Which is to say that they don’t feel as just vehicles for the plot. So I’d suggest it.

Yeah I think the show's world has a problem because it tried to be a mix of "allegory for human society and the discrimination therein" and "what would happen if different anthropomorphized animals tried to live in a society." So you get moments that make sense in one view but not the other.

Like, what would her wanting to get eaten be an anagram for? Because the marginalized associate the oppressor group as hurting them, they will develop strange kinks when they fall in love with one of them?

Honestly, think you might be writing off Oregairu a bit too soon (which I guess isn't surprising considering most of the series is not like the first couple of episodes).

I'd say you continue to ep 7 or 8, and if you still find it uninteresting by then, drop it by all means. Just my suggestion of course.
