To be entirely honest, I may be slightly biased in writing this. I have an extreme connection to Persona 4 through the video game; reading this manga is just helping me reliving the same experiences I had with the game. And is that really a bad thing? In every way the Persona 4 manga is for long time fans of the game looking to see their favorite adventure through a new perspective. manga picks up a new name for Yu Narukami and finally gives him a personality (And a voice). Personally, I much prefer his new name, Soji Seta. Nontheless, Yu or Soji is going on the same adventure through the twisted fate of Inaba! Persona 4's manga still shows the beautiful spunk of the original cast [Minus Marie from P4: Golden (Not really a problem if you ask me)]with dialogue that feels as though it was lifted from the game itself. Without a doubt the writers, and even the translators, are very well-versed in their P4 lore. And this only goes to help the series. While we see the standard game events unfold we also get extra fun stuff like when Yukiko and Chie first met, something I was very curious about. While I have not finished this manga yet, I count down the days until the release of the next volume as I know it is not going to disappoint!
