Texhnolyze is eerily similar to Gungrave and plays into similar tropes in them. Nihilism and the sense of humanity perishing as a whole. The main differences arise with their similar yet different paths from "mafia" style organizations being an option for our MCs. They shift quickly from how they got to the organization to the disassociation of them. While Gungrave provides a more heartwarming end, one could argue Texhnolyze has a heartwarming end based on perspective (both shows are quite depressing with some hope in them) Viewers will definitely be able to tell the themes resound with one another and most will enjoy both titles.
