This is an anime for the ages in my book. When i started playing ATRI the visual novel like a year or two ago (or longer i don't even remember) it was like a bright light shining into my pretty damn dull life. This concept is well, can be pretty interesting or really weird and creepy to some. The act that Atri is a robot creation and Natsuki is a man... well you can think of a few things why it could be weird, especially cos Atri is technically dressed and looks like a kid BUT let's look past that and see the anime for
...
all its intended glory.
To be honest I started off the anime trying to reminisce the Visual Novel and how it compared to the anime, 1 episode in i scratched that. No, this anime deserved to be watched purely, with no comparisons, no knowing what's to come. Just pure enjoyment in the moment. The characters in the anime were seriously well built and had really amazing backstories, personalities and unique characteristics. I'm talking about all of them: Minamo, Ryuuji, Ririka, Catherine and more! And what can I say about the music in this anime, it was just perfect for everything that happened. But what I really want to talk about is the story, it really stretched that idea of post-apocalyptic into our heads and still managed to make it feel like happiness was just brimming there. Kinda makes me feel like "If I were actually in that situation... life wouldn't be as bad as one might think." The build up to the ending, the tension, the realisation of the past and everything was just so eye opening and I just couldn't stop watching. The end had me ugly crying, i mean this was a perfect way to sum up an anime we would have our heart attached to.
If you're looking for an anime that gets you in the feels and is a rom com but its got a bit of a twist in it (that twist literally being a robot and human) honestly give it a try. It's got scenes of slice of life in it as well and hilarious parts all throughout. Trust me, its good and the robot and human thing won't even bother you after the first or second episode just cos of how adorable Atri is.
All-in-all, if you have played the visual novel, please if you want to watch this anime watch it with a clean slate of mind and heart i promise you it's worth it. And if you are watching this anime without knowledge of the visual novel, enjoy every bit of episode you get from this because it is beautiful cinema.

I won't lie when I say that what really made me want to watch this anime was the fact that this guy was chasing this girl and then suddenly he just stopped. That kinda interested me because I knew from there things were gonna get real fun with these characters BUT it became way more than I could have thought.
From what I thought was gonna be a seemingly classic rom com plot turned to kinda a deep thing to think about. there is gonna be some minor spoilers but it shouldnt stop you from enjoying the anime. Basically when the MC gave up chasing Aika
...
(main girl) he still was in love with her but in a different standpoint, which was to support and promote her in the sidelines. Commendable at the very least I did watch this anime and laughed a lot with everything in it. The characters were all just so cute and hilarious and the voice acting was perfect. They included very slight harem themes but definitely not explicit at all. Story-wise this anime was more slice of life than trying to create a long interesting storyline which fit it perfectly. Each character was unique and had their own personalities and really got me wanting to watch more until I binged the whole anime in one sitting.
Honestly if you love rom coms with a more slice of life feel to it, this would be a perfect anime to watch when you just want to have a good laugh and some cuteness instilled in your veins. Some parts can get frustrating as usual with rom coms, but I believe there were more cuteness and happiness than furstration.

Gosh it's been a while since I wrote a review, I had a really really big hiatus in anime watching with so much going on in life but I am back and I am happy I am back!
I actually started watching this anime in June/July somewhere when it started airing and it really captured my interests and passions. As someone that was isolated and such I have some relation and understanding with Alya... except the part where she has good grades and looks good. This anime has a really great story and I'm also very happy there is going to be a season 2 because
...
I need more of Alya! As unhinged as Masachika and Yuki can get, they have such a perfect dynamic together but Alya and Masachika definitely win the spot for best pair. The characters all had a pretty good storyline and let us understand each character and their traits. Each episode really got me wanting to watch the next due to the pure suspense they put me in. Ofcourse the anime was really cute as well, the interactions of Alya and Kuze, interactions of Yuki and Kuze and even most of the other interactions were all really cute and fun and add to the story and characters.
Honestly if you like rom coms and a little bit of harem themes I think you would really like this anime. Although not blatant in the harem part, it can be seen little by little. I truly believe the story committed to focusing on Kuze and Alya along with their relationships with the people around them. It's a perfect anime if you want to just chill, have a laugh and get some cuteness overload in your system.

I watched this anime on my 9 hour plane rides and I couldn't have been more happier to had downloaded Kimi ni Todoke to watch. It was such a bubbly and cute anime that I couldn't help laugh, smile and want to cry in the plane everytime!
Lets get some reviews out the way, the storyline and the plot of the anime is pretty much a beautiful progression of a student. The way they played it out was very cute and exactly how I would have hoped it would work out for her. The characters all had their own unique characteristic to them and brought out
...
their own vibes throughout the anime, and I also love that we get to see some episodes dedicated to some of these characters as well! The art style is so cute and absolutely hilarious when they make it to be. The music made me move to tears or laughter and really brought out the scenes more.
What honestly was an anime that I downloaded just to watch on plane rides and to 'cure boredom' became much more than that and really made me fall in love with the series! I've already started the 2nd season and I can't wait to see more of my favourite characters and see how this romance unfolds

When I was first recommended this anime by someone, I thought it weird at first. I mean you can't blame me with a name Buddy Daddies. However, it looked really cute and wholesome so I decided I want to try it out! What I got was something unexpected, a combination of both cute and butt-kicking action.
Lets get some reviews outta the way! Firstly the story of this anime was pretty well created and progressed well through the anime. I love how the anime just went straight into the action while slowly unfolding the truths and pasts of our beloved characters. I don't know how
...
one can make such a profession seem like a decent way of life :o The characters themselves are unique and have their own characteristics. I absolutely love their personalities and the way they act.
I think that this anime really surpassed my expectations, and I gradually fell in love with this show and was just waiting every week for a new episode! The final episode really got me as well, with that certain end scene and I ust love when shows include that <3

This anime was a big surprise to me. I came here expecting a very generic plot and character, which I guess was true in some ways, but I saw much more than that. The more I watched the anime the more I got intrigued by the plot and everything. It was a show that I have to say really got me wanting more of and kept watching in hopes for the next episode to come out. If there is a 2nd season I will definitely watch it.
Lets get some rating outta the way! The plot, although kind of messy as in there wasn't much build
...
up for a certain climax but there were multiple things happening at once, was very interesting and to say the least it kept me on my toes. An example of what I mean by messy would be as if you build up a plot for a certain event to happen, and that event happens halfway, concludes and then a new event that was completely unrelated to the story suddenly appears as the final climax. The characters I would say were somewhat generic yet had their own charm to them, I loved how cute and hilarious some their faces where and just couldn't help but admire their characters. The music in this show was surprisingly really nice. I got addicted to listening to their OP every time and their ED was bomb as well.
There isn't a lot to be said honestly, but I couldn't help but review this seemingly underrated anime of which I have seem so many hateful reviews on. This anime definitely sparked an interest in me with the build up and the story telling.

When I watched this anime, I was just doing it so I could complete the Cells At Work Series. I knew Cells at work code black was wayy wayy more messed up than the other cells at work and it really showed that with all these different types of crazy diseases, illnesses, infections and even critical body damage. If being honest, I did not really find it as interesting or appealing at the first few episodes and just watched it to get the anime over with. However, nearing the end of the anime things took a turn for the worse for this body and the
...
things that happened to the cells during this really struck me emotionally. Funny huh? Crying for some cells in a body? But it was truly sad and I couldn't hold back the tears.
Let's get some rating out the way! Firstly, the story. Well completely the opposite of your wholesome cells at work, the story here is way darker and way more filled with death and depression. It makes you think 'What in the cell is this human doing with their body?'. Apart from the story being more dark and gore induced, I would say that it builds up the interest and gives you a lot of knowledgeable information you might find useful. Although it did not strike me as an interesting show at first, it definitely carried its weight nearing the end (like 8 episodes in). Secondly, the characters. Definitely the characters are almost all unique and I really appreciated that this was implemented. As much as normal cells are similar, this anime decided to implement some unique characters around the body to further build that strong character connection between us, the audience, and the anime as a whole. Lastly, the music. As much as I like the OP and ED, they really really did not fit. At one point I'm crying my eyes out to a seriously sad scene and the next thing I hear is upbeat pumped up motivational music. Even so really nice music, just wish they coulda read the mood.
Overall, I would recommend this anime if you don't mind being somewhat uninterested for the first like 7 episodes only to be hit by a wave of emotion and chaos nearing the end. Would have given this anime a lwoer score if it wasn't for such a emotional and hard-hitting ending.

This anime was recommended to me by my secret santa. I believe that when I first saw this anime come up, I remembered clearly that this was the anime I kinda did not want to watch. Why? Well as much of a rom com fanatic I am, this anime includes a romance comedy of a middle aged man and a high school girl. I found the idea of this very weird and I immediately dismissed this anime. NOW DON'T START ROASTING AND SHOOTING AT ME YET! Now let's talk about what I think about this anime AFTER I watched it. I can happily say that
...
I really liked it! Sure the idea of this romance is still a little bit weird to me but I really liked the ending and how the story played out!
Firstly let's get some of these ratings out of the way. The story and the overall story to learn was really interesting and got me really intrigued from the start. A runner who didn't want to run anymore and a writer who didn't want to write, sounds like fate no? I really loved the way it was portrayed and how it ended, although the two did not manage to 'get together' their pathways to their own goals were opened up because of each other. The music in this anime was also really nice and beautiful, definitely some to add to my playlist. The character development and how their past stories were slowly being shown to the audience was really well paced and very well structured. Overall, although I didn't seem interested in watching this anime in the beginning, I actually liked it in the very end and I was glad that I watched it. Plus this sort of anime is in my comfort zone yet out of it?? I guess all that I can say about this is to definitely not judge a book by its cover, but by its contents <3

When i first watched this anime, I actually did not expect too much. The characters were a bit annoying, Akari was kinda a mainstream popular girl who wanted to e with a popular guy and our buddy Jiro here was just a nerdy dude. BUT as more and more episodes started rolling in, I genuinely started to fall in love with this anime <3
Lets get some ratings out of the way! So far the story of this anime has been paced pretty well in my opinion and I always want to watch more and more every time. Its a simple story really (besides the
...
fact that this class is probably something that is very not normal) but its also a beautiful story. The characters as I said I found annoying in the beginning grow dear to my heart as episodes come out. As for their development I'd say its very strong character development, to find out thing they didn't know before and gain a new sense of romance and emotions. I think the art style of this anime is super unique and nice, although at first it did throw me off but I can't help but relate this art style to the other anime called 'Words bubble up like soda pop'.
Although I do have to say I'm a little sad about the way they ended this anime, don't know if there is going o be a season 2 or not but im seriously hoping for one. One thing I know for sure is i'm definitely rooting for Akari, SORRY SHIORI BUT I HAVE FALLEN FOR HER ;-;

I was very interested in this anime for quite a while and thought it would be a perfect anime to just chill and watch. Needless to say, it was indeed a very very nice anime to watch and I just loved the character development in this. The way they met, the way they grew and the way more and more secrets and twists just unfolded.
Lets get some of the ratings outta the way shall we! Firstly, the plot or story of the anime is very interesting to me. Arranged marriages have always been something that I could never truly understand but sometimes it does bring
...
out some precious memories and life lasting friendships. The way they developed this concept was nicely done adn they obviously added some good harem notions throughout the 24 episodes. The music wasn't that amazing to me, it definitely provided a good ambience and emotional presence to different scenes and so on but if I'm being honest I never really saw the music 'shine' in the anime, it was mostly the scenes and animations that outdid the music and that's what caught my eye. Nevertheless, music still played a integral part in the anime and it deffo wouldn't feel the same without. Next up is the characters themselves. All of them have their own quirk and goals to reach, and I love how most of their goals revolve around our main man here. I think that Segawa is super adorable and her design is just AHHHHHH!! The character development as I mentioned is really nice! The way their emotions and behaviours change as time goes on together, and how more friends are made along the way is all a nice pace of development.
Well, the anime had left a very nice warm feeling in my chest and I seriously am hoping for more! I'm trying to be spoiler-free so as youc an see it's not very CRAZY as I usually write my review, a lil too sophisticated?? AHHAHA
I'm also writing this at like 11.30 am, not right after watching the anime so its probably also a reason. But overall I reallly really enjoyed watching this anime, didn't know it was 24 eps to be honest but that made it all the better, deffo a good anime to watch if you just want to relax and see some rom com.
