As I was reading reviews from this and the previous seasons, I knew I had to write a review.
This will contain a summary of my opinion of all the seasons that were aired for this franchise.


Since MAL requires a specific format for a review, I will go through each point.

Is the story unique? Hell no, it's a romantic comedy. Take a look back at all those rom-coms you love and please tell me they're the most unique thing you're ever watched.
However, I found the relationship between Shirogane and Kaguya really exciting... of course it's not healthy, but it takes me back to my teenage ... years when knowing whether your crush liked you or not was the most important thing ever. I do believe that the storytelling did a great job transmitting that feeling... and of course the story is predictable, because duh rom-com

Were the characters well-rounded? Did they have flaws and strengths, or were they unusually strong/smart/stupid?
I mean... it's a highschool rom-com, I am obviously not looking for perfect character development. The characters were too cliché but the jokes that used those cliché-traits seemed original and hilarious to me. And I am sick of bad anime jokes so kudos for that.

Did the characters react to situations and events in a realistic way?
For real????????????????????????????????????? Do I need to repeat myself?
However, I did find that Kaguya and Shirogane's actions were appropriate for their age... something that I would have done. Being as clumsy as I am, I have been in comparable situations, so maybe yes?

Do you think others will enjoy/dislike this series, even if you didn't? Why?
I think that everyone will laugh a lot while waytching this anime. The final scene is incredibly funny... I really do not understand how people can say that they do not recommend this beautiful comedy.




And that's it. You better watch it 'cause it's funny. Don't expect Berserk out of a manga that portraits a pink-haired girl in the cover.

Watched this because of Mamoru Miyano's laughter scene.
13 episodes of wasted time...

I am amazed that they had such an amazing cast of seiyuus and yet the anime is so plain and not funny.
I really cannot express how disappointed I am in this show.

The story might seem unique and interesting, prone to have awesome jokes, but no story development or good jokes follow after whatsoever.
The art is okay, I mean it is nothing special and not bad either.
The characters were meh. They had cool backstories but again, never developed.
The characters might have been seen realistic but again, nothing was done with that.

Even though I enjoyed the beginning of the series quite a lot, I'd have to say that the end was very disappointing. Yuureitou starts as a good drama, with lots of mistery. It is written so well that at some point in the chapter you jump of your seat. However, there are little hints of what the story becomes: a fairy tale for trans with MANY MANY abuses of hentai. I'll be blunt: if someone wants to jack off during an exciting reading, I doubt they want to suddenly jump off because there was some freaking scary part in the manga. I didn't like the ... way the author combined certain topics. It would have been reading Tetsuo's development without seeing her in such sexy poses. I even think that it's offensive for women who want to become guys. But I'll just say there's a great drama in the story.

I thought it was a shoujo.
It has lots of fan service, which made be believe this until now, but other than that it is a great manga. One that I have enjoyed a lot. Its multiple stories combine historical realism with amusing fantasy, making this manga a very special one. The atmosphere created by the mangaka fits just right.
The development of certain characters might seem weak at first, but every one has a special moment where the magaka devotes her soul in order to make them important, yet interesting according to the general story.

And the art... well, Toboso is one of my ... favorites mangakas, aside from the story she tells, her art is superb! Is one I enjoy a lot. Taken really good care of, and very attractive. Not filled with drawing details, instead with a lot of contrast that make action scenes seem very real.

Okay, so I'll have to say that if you're looking for a short anime that you'll totally love and won't absorb a lot of time, THIS IS THE ONE. But (and this is one huge but) that ending was pretty lame! I'm really looking forward to reading the manga. However, all 11 episodes are great. Pllus, Makoto Yoshimori composed the music! Could you even ask for more? This is such a charming anime, I totally recommend it! If you happen to not like it, it's not as if you lost a lot of your precious time.

I am seriously shocked that this movie has such a low ranking. This film is more of an art film than a japanese animation film -ok, I guess you noticed it from the beginning of the movie-, thus, you better stop ranking this film according to the usual way of giving a score to an anime. This film certainly lacks of a deep story, and the character development is quite poor, but don't be mislead cause this film wasn't meant to show a great story. The animation and somebody other technical characteristics are what wey are supposed to put our eyes on, and if.somehow you've ... failed to notice that most psychedelic films won't get anywhere, you should at least try to focus on the art of this one.

Are people seriously writing extensive reviews about this series?
This is way too short, even though you didn't like it it won't be as if you lost a lot of time watching it.
I crack in laughter everytime I watch it, it's just plain stupid. Funny as hell.
