Just finished watching, so I thought it was time for a full review. It was a little short, but still a great OVA to watch.
Story:
A great little story to watch, It may seem like the classic: Demons appear and all of a sudden a team shows up to combat them, and i guess in a sense that's true, but there is more to it than that. It has a down to earth feel to it. Although you may think pssh superpowers and demons.... how can that be down to earth? Well Although there are superpowers involved, nothing is overly dramatic and over the
...
top. there is also the human element of the regular individuals who get dragged into the horrors that surround them. All in all, everything is wrapped up pretty nicely and closes off with a somewhat dramatic finale.
8/10
Art:
Probably the best part of this entire OVA was the artwork. it builds so much of an atmosphere that pulls the viewer into the environment, experience the emotions of the characters, and the thrill of watching what is unfolding on screen. One thing that was lacking a bit was the artwork of the characters. Don't get me wrong, the characters were decent looking but they weren't anything special. It seems to stand out a bit more when you compare minorly detailed characters with the highly detailed backgrounds.
9/10
Sound: My first impression on this OVA is that probably where this OVA is lacking the most in is sound. I meant that quite literally, there didn't feel like there was that much sounds going on. Actually looking back on it, and re-listening to a couple segments from the episodes i noticed how wrong i was. There is sounds throughout most of the way, but it feels like it has been incorporated so well into the scenery and what is happening that I didn't actually notice. I was drawn so deeply into actual going ons of the scene. The dramatic ominous music, was used throughout, but never overused, and was always changing. the other sounds generally consisted of things like characters breathing loudly, screams, and the scenery. I thought that this just added to the dark and ominous atmosphere that was created throughout. Although you could argue well.... there is not too much background music, and there isn't even an opening. I would agree with most of that. There isn't much background music, but it is well placed. However the lack of an opening, and the kinda lousy ending song were a bit of a disappointment. Ranking this OVA purely based on sound, its kind of low, in that it although it builds up the atmosphere very well, stand alone the sounds are quite generic.
6/10
Characters:
One thing about this OVA that i was not overly fond of. The main three characters seemed somewhat one dimensional, and we barely learned nearly anything about them. Little to no character development. Motivation- nada, backstories- nada, how they got their powers- nada. Those characters were a bit of a disappointment. On the other hand however the "mortal" characters whom the stories revolved around,we had a little bit more information about them. The characters were a bit better introduced and we learn more about them, but even then, we still only scratch the surface. Overall the largest flaw of the OVA
Enjoyment:
I found this OVA to be very enjoyable. I found myself constantly leaning forward towards my computer screen just being engrossed into the story. I honestly didn't notice the 40 min time of each episode until i finished it. Well worth the watch
9/10
Overall:
I do recommend this to most people. Although there is a slight bit of nudity, and ecchi scenes, nothing is over the top and it really doesn't take anything away from what the storyline does so well to build up. If you can find the time (and i am sure you can) i suggest you to check it out.

Well the Final Episode has finally been subbed, so it feels like time for a full review. Welcome to Golgo 13, The epitome of anime manliness. A masterful sniper who can take out any target, from nearly any distance with a single shot.
Story: 6
Each episode is non-sequential, and has no bearing on future or previous episodes so you can essentially watch the episodes in no particular order and have more or less the same enjoyment. Each episode begins with Duke Togo aka Golgo 13, receiving a request to kill a target, and the rest of the episode usually involves Golgo 13 undertaking some
...
masterful feat to accomplish his goal. There is no story overall other than following Golgo 13's exploits, however each individual story is fairly unique in regards to how it is presented, each supporting character's backdrops and storylines. That being said, each episode falls back into same formula and you essentially know how each episode will end.
Characters: 7
Ah characters... or should i say "character" as each episode introduces us to only one character who returns every episode. (excluding the gun craftsman who appears a few times). As previously stated, Golgo 13 is the best sniper in the world, he can take out any target, regardless of the circumstances. Also a master in hand to hand combat and short ranged armed combat. Golgo 13 has the outward appearance of a cold emotionless killer, amazingly well built, and has his share of battle scars from earlier days. Quite possibly the manliest man of anime. That being said though, he undergoes very little character development over the entire series. There is a plethora of other characters introduced, usually with unique stories, or backgrounds, however many either end up dead (targets) or will never appear again throughout the series.
Art: 8
Clean artwork, great colouring and shading. I was a big fan of the gloomy atmosphere that the shading gives the series. even in the bright and sunshining days, there still exists that sort of darkness. Character design is somewhat lacking however in this series. Although for the first few episodes you don't really notice it, a general trend starts to develop... A lot of the supporting characters start to look the same. There are soo many supporting characters introduced throughout the series, that most of the henchmen,a few of the targets, and many of the supporting/extra women throughout tend to look nearly identical to each other. Fluid animations throughout, amazing backdrops, and overall pretty good stuff
Sound: 9
the First Opening: "take the wave" from naifu was actually quite catchy, Also a big fan of " Glass no Highway from doa. other op and eds were alright. I thought the seiyu for Golgo 13; Tachi Hiroshi did a great job voicing Duke Togo (Golgo 13), It was a cold emotionless voice that just fit the character perfectly.
Enjoyment: 8
This series was fairly enjoyable, The viewing experience was over a period of 8 or so months, so there was a decent gap inbetween watching, Although thinking about it now, This likely isn't one of those anime where you can just keep watching all the episodes back to back and in 1-4 sittings, Each episode will tend to get very repetitive over time. But as a simple, sit back and watch every now and then show, this anime has merit
Overall: 8
A pretty good experience to watch, Has some pretty enjoyable moments, and a few twists and turns along the way. Check it out if you find the time

When I first noticed that this anime existed it piqued my interest. i remember playing the game Devil Kings for ps2 (game that the characters are copied from then replicated into this anime) and I recalled the somewhat enjoyable times playing the game with a friend, i must say that my experiences thus far with this anime is falling quite short to my expectations.
Story: Takes place in war-torn feudal Japan, in times of warring feudal lords all struggling for power. Sounds like a great historical anime right? well.... you'd be wrong. Its got a "modern" flare thrown in. and by modern i am referring
...
to the presence of guns or crazy weapons or the Tank guy with a jet pack; Honda. This anime focuses on throwing the viewer into overly-epic (to the point of disgust) battles, while the overall story (which there isnt really that much of one) is more or less thrown to the side.
Art: Quite nice artwork actually: Vibrant colours, crisp artwork, and i rather enjoyed the few seconds worth of frames that revert to a more sketch-like portrayal of events.
Sound: I quite Dislike the opening. I am a fan of most of Abingdon Boys school's other songs but this one just irked me. wasnt a fan of the ending but it seemed to fit more or less the theme of the series. Good seiyu, but way too many over the top cliched english lines. Every time something was said in english i cringed.
Characters: Basically the characters look more or less exact compared to the ps2's image of them. so i guess theres no place for complaint there, however each personality is way too far over the top. every character (at least the males) tend to be over the top GAR and it just gets to a point where it is hard to watch. personalities are stretched to no longer believable levels.
Enjoyment: Well i had high hopes for this series, perhaps that is why I am quite let down with it now. about halfway into the second episode i couldnt stand it. now I am trying to complete the series based on spite. If you were just looking for a series with a bunch of fighting scenes, weak dialogue which you really don't need to pay attention to, and extreme cleavage (I think she shows up pretty early) then this may be for you.
Overall: I personally just want it to be over. Im scared to see how a second season could be made from this.

Well after you're finished Training with Hinako you are certainly bound to get a little tired, so what better a followup than sleeping with her. Based on the titile you might think ooh sounds like fun, but instead we are just going to watch her sleep and talk to herself for 50 minutes, which in itself is a tad creepy. dialogue is mediocre at best, i mean what can you honestly expect from somebody who is sleeping.
Story: We are watching a girl sleep...
Art: alright but nothing over the top, nothing really special, a lot of frames get reused.
Sound: Nothing special, seiyuu kind
...
of grows on you after a while tho.
Character: Well Theres the ditzy yet somewhat cute character Hinako. thats about it.
Enjoyment: Honestly speaking i got kind of bored about 4 minutes in.
Overall: I wouldnt mind having the 50 minutes of my life back but whatever. wasnt too bad.

Well I didnt really know what to expect when i watched this. based on the first episode alone i thought it was rather unique. kinda weird characters (especially the talking mochi). But my initial response to this CG show was rather decent. but..... it got old fast.
Story: Well there really isnt a story. the 3 characters sit/stand on a couch and talk about random things. some comments were funny but overall it got really old really fast.
Art: Hmm well the CG was kinda half-heartedly put together. there really isnt a whole lot of motion to speak of. essentially you dont need to even look at
...
the video, if you can remember the three character voices, you can simply listen to the audio.
Sound: Hmm.... It honestly sounds like 2 of the main characters are drunk throughout the entire series, which i guess makes sense because all the characters do is drink beer and make critical comments on mochi-kun. I actually rather enjoyed the opening. it is a tad childish but it has a certain charm to it.
Characters: Initially i thought they all seemed pretty amusing, but oddly enough by the end of it i genuinely hated the two dogs. They just seem like a**holes. Mochi-kun was decent but got kind of annoying as well.
Enjoyment: As a series it was pretty bad, but if you were to watch one episode and one only you might sort of like it. the series is kinda odd like that.
Overall: I honestly wouldnt really recommend this to anyone. there really isnt any redeeming factors for it.

I seriously don't know whats up with all the bad reviews. It honestly isnt as bad as everybody is making this out to be. The endless 8 time loop wasnt as terrible as everybody makes it out to be. each episode adds onto the plot of the infinate time loop and it occurs in a way that was true to the first season.
Story: Same bizarre situation and overall plot that was evident in the first season. Also i must say it is rather fun putting the entire storyline together as you move through the series. Just stringing each episode together and determining when each
...
episode occurs in the timeline. 8/10
Art: Nice animation, colouring, drawing style. same as the first season and still great. Crisp clear artwork. 7/10
Sound: same sounds as S1. The Seiyu were chosen well and each voice seems to perfectly express each character. I do enjoy the Opening and Ending songs. Then again im a Hirano Aya fan, so im a tad biased. 9/10
Characters: One of the Aspects that made Season 1 great and it carries on to the second season. All characters are so unique. 10/10
Enjoyment: Although the endless 8 arc did carry on a tad long the series has been enjoyable and i look forward to more of the series. 7/10
Overall: To anybody who may be reading these to determine if they should watch this season i must say give it a try. Its not as horrible as other reviews seem to make it to be. Give it a chance, you will be pleasantly suprised.
8/10

Story: The weakest part of the anime, There is just soo much going on, and so little information to explain anything. Because this series was condensed into such a short time frame, these ova just dont get to the full potential it might have had with a classic 26 ep series. Honestly i was just lost for the first few episodes until you finally get into the flow of the anime and just accept what is happening in each plot line try and piece everything together on your own. I would love to give a plot summary of this series but in all honesty
...
i dont think i could do a good job.
5/10
Art: Described in one word; Beautiful. I have not seen a series that can come close to matching karas. The CG as well as the animation are put together seemlessly, every aspect fits and is just amazing to look at. the battle sequences are amazingly done, and is just awe inspiring to watch. If nothing else, the artwork will take your mind off of lack of plot developement.
10/10
Sound: Every sound just seems to fit, Sound effects were picked nicely for each animation, the seiyu chosen perfectly match each character (with what little information we know about them)
9/10
Characters: nice unique character design, only problem is we know little to nothing about them. Bascially all that is presented to the viewer is name and current motive, practically no background information or deeper understanding. Based on how little we know about each character, it is hard to relate to any of the characters, which makes it harder to enjoy the series
5/10
Enjoyment: If lack of a clear plot doesnt bother you, and you just happen to be an action battle sequence buff; then this series will be right up your alley. Unfortunately i prefer a bit more substance behind the plots, just a little backdrop that is integrated nicely into the series. Unfortunately it didnt really exist here. If the series was extended and more character and plot developement were provided it would be much more enjoyable
6/10
Overall: Apart from being visually stunning there really isnt too much to these ova.
7/10

Based on the overall rating of this series i had rather high hopes, however i have been quite disappointed with it. Although it isnt one of the worst series i have ever watched it certainly isnt one of the best.
Story: The basic premise of the anime is a generic weak schoolboy kenichi tries to become stronger, encounters a busty schoolgirl miu and together train to become stronger, meanwhile encountering new challenges and rigourous training. seems generic enough. nothing special though. however it just doesnt seem executed well. Although i havent seen all of the episodes yet it appears to be just another show where new
...
challengers appear every episode or two. 6/10
Art: I am suprised that this series was made as late as 2006/2007 and still has this poor of artwork. not much detailing put into the character design. colours are crisp and nice though. Detail was nicely put into the action scenes but thats basically all. 5/10
Sound: Prolly one of the higher points, op was ok but ending was a nice song, nothing special with the seiyu. 6/10
Characters: Wasn't a fan of the characters, They just didnt put enough time to develop the characters, it seems like another one of those series where they went for quantity over quality. Viewers are provided with a basic motivation for each character and thats about it. Stereotypical cliched characters thoughout, 3/10
Enjoyment: Rather low i must say, it seems almost a chore to watch the next episode, although i continue to watch in hopes of improval. 4/10
Overall: Although i havent seen it all yet, the series seems rather disapponting considering such high ratings this series has been given 5/10

Alrighty so ive seen one episode so far and i must say this is bad.... even by ecchi OVA standards.... General plot summary (thusfar) Introduced to 2 cliched schoolgirls.... one (aya) apparently is a master in hand to hand combat, as well as a girl in a cliched priestess costume. The priestess (Kazuki? ) is seeking the platonic heart, a magical gem which can make one wish come true for the lucky lady who wins it. That wish? to make some friends... wow thats bad.... If she wins she is able to make friends..... if she loses she will be thrown into the dark
...
abyss, as the rumors go.
Story: well as you can already tell by the synopsis this is pretty bad.
Art: nothing special. generic anime women, unimpressive backgrounds, horrible animations for mouths and pretty much any movement in general.
Sound: AWESOME just joking.... this is dreadful. the opening song itself made me want to stop watching. no good sound effects, just random noise...
Characters: there isnt a whole lot of information about each character
Enjoyment: nothing.... being a 5 episode ecchi ova, i guess i came into it with a pre-convieved notion that i would get a couple of chuckles and maybe enjoy a few scenes, nothing much but at least something.... nope not happening with this series... it seems so emotionless, and just as a heads up... if ur watching this just for the breast shots, you should stop and watch something else... its just not worth sitting through this
Overall: dreadful

I think that this anime can be summed up in two words, "cliched Harem"
Although the general concept of this anime is pretty clear-cut, I had found it to be a rather enjoyable series. The fan service in this series is a bit over the top. In near every battle it seems that someone is gonna lose thier shirt. I still have yet to figure out why no scratches are left behind from the shredding.
Story: The overalll plot of the story is kind of original. I mean how many other anime feature a battle royal between 108 Busty women? I don't want to
...
give away spoilers but there seems to be way too many loose ends at the end of the series. hopefully the sequel is able to answer most. 6/10
Art: This is one area of the anime that excelled. Fluid animations, bright vibrant settings, good detailing. 9/10
Sound: OP and ED were rather nice and had a fair relevance to the series. Battle Sound Effects were average. The Seiyu (voice actors) were a perfect match for their character. 9/10
Character: Sadly one of the more disappointing aspects of the series. In a cliched harem the chartacters are well... cliched. The same character personalities can be seen in any other anime of the genre. There is no originality. Another aspect in which this anime was lacking was in character developement. There are soo many characters to be introduced to in this series that not one of them gets enough time for decent character buildup. 5/10
Enjoyment: I must say that this was a enjoyable series. I'm a sucker for the comedy-romance genre and as the last episode came around I ended up wanting more. 8/10
Overall: 7/10
