EXTREMELY UNDERRATED!
but I need to write more since MAL doesn't allow short reviews!
I cannot believe people are not talking about this masterpiece, Betrayal is everywhere! you can't trust your own shadow here! it's kinda nostalgic since there is so much similarity between 91 days and GodFather, and a beautiful revenge Story, characters are Consistent and there are No plot holes at all
people are bitching about how anime is fulled with fanservice and they are all sick of it, well there is NO bullshit in this one, this anime is for adults for sure.

I'm not sure why it is considered more of a henti than horror!
it's kinda sad I hear the visual novel is better and more detailed but this anime is fairly good I've never seen any shit like this before so I kinda liked the absolute originality! at least for me it was!
it's kinda like saw which makes me appreciate it more, such a shame, it was getting pretty psychological but they focused on henti otherwise it would get a 10!

this anime is not a masterpiece in anyway, I'm going to be blunt, this anime is stupid
the only fun thing about it is the riddles and that's that
sphinx's purpose of terrorizing japan is Stupid, it doesn't make any sense, they blow up stuff for no real reason, in the last episode, 9 said he wanted to tell the story by his side AND HE IS A HACKER, if you are good enough to hack underground railroad and cop's database, you are good enough to hack an important site (government related) and post your story there, people could hear your side that way more

if the MCs were sadistic the plot would turn out just fine and more rational but writers intended to make them more human but then MCs didn't have any purpose to keep going
and they simply stole from Monster (eugenics experiment gone wrong!, namelessness)

Because of the last two fucking episode, what the fuck was that? Suddenly the world changed and gods came down for Griffith to turn him into some sort of gay bat?!
SO STUPID, up until episode 23 it was a True masterpiece but the ending was such a disappointment that I had to decline it's rating, I really thought it was going to give some meaningful message at the end but Griffith raped casca (in a latex suit, kinda what gay pornstars wear) for NO REASON, that was the ending!!

Another is a disappointment, it really makes me sad, i LOVED the theme they created and color choices the first couple of episodes were excellent BUT of course they fucked it up
The main character is awfully unrealistic, first off he has lung disease (for no reason!) and there is a scene which he is caught in fire, you might ask: Does he run? WELL NO he takes his phone out and tries to get a signal! what the fuck? that bitch Mei is no better, when people attack her to fucking kill her, she sometimes tries to dodge and sometimes she just doesn’t give

a shit, she is so inconsistent and annoying, there is no depth for this character.
you know mystery is fun but if it’s creative, they showed mysterious things in the most cliché and lamest way possible, every sec someone wants to explain what the fuck is going on to the main character (and us!) but then they say shits like “ehh…ehhh…nothing!” it’s so bad, in one point in front of our stupid hero they literally say: “we have to do something about this curse” and he says what the fuck are you talking about nigga? and they get all nervous and act stupid and finally tell him in a really lame way that everything is OK and you don’t need to worry even though everyone in school are dying!!!!
fights are an insult to the audience, you know the typical villain doesn’t kill the hero when they have 100% chance to do so! and suddenly out of no-fucking-where dues ex machina, YEAH except to see those in this anime…A LOT.
this anime is basically Final Destination but much worse, in the FD series at least characters were smart enough to realize something is up and they should avoid dangerous things But in this fucking anime after their classmates get brutally killed they go to picnic!! i’m serious that’s how dumb it is.
other characters are no better than main ones (Obviously) at one point they just go berserk and try to kill each other for no real reason
The problem is everyone is stupid if they fucking shared their information with each other they could solve this so called mystery!
at the very least they could explain why he should stay away from that girl but that stupid red bitch should have implemented her “countermeasures”!
btw What the fuck was that ending?!!!! did he really murder her dead aunt just like that?! (i know it sounds ridiculous but..WAIT there is no but! it IS fucking ridiculous) he is a fucking psychopath!
OH i almost forgot about that idiot Mei, she said she could see the dead! but does she opens her fucking mouth to tell others? NO,she remains silent for two fucking Episode (and as always FOR NO FREAKING REASON), she is also a liar in one episode she literally said to main character “she doesn’t exist” and since we saw her suddenly disappearing when she was being chased by hero, it was reasonable to assume she is indeed some sort of a ghost but it turns out she is just a human who sees dead people (unexplained why!) , i mean that’s cheating MAYBE she meant metaphorically that she doesn’t exist but still, why being so vague? just say it like a fucking human, but Maybe she just lied, to throw off the hero so the countermeasures keep on working but it still doesn’t make any sense, she could have ignored him or tell him to fuck off, that would work!!
if i keep pointing to the plot holes and inconsistencies and stupid decisions i would have to write a book for that so i’m going to end this here.
but in the end this anime is not unwatchable, it does have good things to offer (rarely), so if you really need something to watch then go right ahead, as you might read in the comments this anime is unintentionally a comedy and it is a successful comedy!!! you will have good time laughing at the ways people die and how stupid, other characters reaction is.

a weird romance anime , that’s how i would describe this shit, the conclusions were ridiculously bad, it started extremely good but ended just good!
(Spoilers)
let me first shit on this series!
the main character falls in love with a half-elf weirdo for no fucking reason, just because someone saves you from some thugs that shouldn’t lead to Yandere! beside she wasn’t into him at all, even at the end she was still not in love with him (I kinda appreciate it as it is not cliché), and that idiot kept risking his mental state for her, made no sense unless you assume his is

totally out of his mind.
on the other hand there is Rem! why the hell she didn’t take his proposal to run away? that would be her only chance but i guess the plot needs to move forward! and rem’s character is not so consistent, on one hand she is a brutal murderer who literally dismembered hero just because he told her sister a sad story! and she was a little suspicious of him and on the other hand she is extremely kind and risk her life for others! and what the fuck happened to her?! she just disappeared from the show!
99% of people in this anime are total assholes which was annoying, i know there are assholes in this world but not everyone are like that, long story short i could not care about characters because of that.
we didn’t get a reason why the fuck hero had the ability to reset his time after his death, it wasn’t explained at all.
that “Felt” becoming a candidate didn’t make any sense as well i mean how is this going to help the plot? she literally said fuck this shit I'm going to bring anarchy to this city, that fucking brat!
only one fight was awesome between elsa and others, other fights were a little ridiculous, i mean fighting with a fucking Whale in the forest? come on that’s fucking dumb. and that gay cat was totally inappropriate!
btw songs are extremely good.
Conclusions:
this is a good anime overall, definitely worth the watch, it was just annoying to see hero making those stupid and illogical selfless decisions, i could not relate at all.

WOOOW JUST WOOW!
this anime is the one! the one I've been looking! I always wanted to watch a philosophical and psychological anime and this anime proved to be the one, while watching this anime gradually you come to realize the writers have read at least 5 useful book! this anime is not just for fun, it makes you think
Intellectual conversation can be observed in almost every episode, a great villain, great character developments, it's beautiful! it is a depressing anime and it show the mans struggle to remain a logical person who can judge free from emotions and how devastating it can get to see

your friends turning into criminals.
an idealist villain who believes humans should not be controlled and any system of control equates to a big prison ergo let's bring anarchy to society! (I personally disagree, we need law to some extent)
a good thing about this anime is that there is not deus ex machina! they really thought about the situations and how each character would react
last episode was kinda uncool! I mean akane shouldn't have trusted Kougami, she should have paralyzed him

well, let me tell this to people who usually hate romance:
this anime is different! you will not regret it, just watch it later you will thank me!

I hear a lot of people saying she gave meaning to Arima's life and she is an angel!
BUT HEAR THE DARK SIDE!
-she is absolutely evil! and manipulative

1)she made arima to fall for her even though she knew she was about to die so Arima would eventually go into a deeper state of anxiety and depression.
2)she made watari to fall for her even though she didn't give a flying fuck about him!
3)she betrayed her friend Tsubaki. she knew Tsubaki WAS in love with Arima but she didn't give a fuck! and destroyed her chance
4)she tried to manipulate Arima to kill himself (LITERALLY!)
Unfortunately she failed! Guess she should have asked Johan about it ;)
5)the so called meaning you people claim she gave to arima worth nothing, in fact it might have reverse effect on Arima since the meaning (Love) would die with her.
one of the major issue of this anime is TOO MANY people are in love!
There was no reason to make Emi and Tsubaki love Arima, I means how does that help the plot?!
btw the humor is good, you will have good time!

I personally love this anime because I used to play Piano and since I'm a little bitch with high anxiety! I had a really hard time performing in front of people and I remember once I was about to perform for school and I really trained hard enough to not fuck it up. I still remember, my hands were totally wet! and in the middle of performance I STOPPED HEARING! I couldn't hear what was I playing! this show didn't lie or exaggerate when Arima couldn't hear what he was playing, this really happens when you are overwhelmed with anxiety!

When it comes to rating Monster, things get extremely confusing! monster is an extremely good anime with forgivable mistakes!
let me explain more ;)

1-24 (let's say Season 1!)
EPISODE (1-6) (5 Star Episode)
the first 6 episodes are extremely satisfying, watching a good doctor (Tenma) to deal with selfish and disgusting people who only care about status and nothing else, treating with people's life as toys and opportunities to get themselves more popular.
...
they made me to root for Tenma and Then all of his moral codes gets questioned when the patient he saved turns out to be a Murderer!
now this is the part where they fucked it up:
after this revelation, he decided to hunt Johan and kill him! OK wait a fucking minute! for a Dr.clean who has done nothing wrong his whole life this is extreme, and stupid, he should have cooperated with cops to get him arrested (just like what L in death note tried to do with Light).
this fluffy doctor even joins some weird Chinese people to turn him into assassin!! WTF
this is not like tenma at all, Moreover his sense of responsibility doesn't make any sense either
so the patient you saved was a killer! BUT you didn't fucking know that, he is not your responsibility and lets not forget that Tenma is not the only person who operated on Johan! other people moved on like reasonable people but this irrational idiot didn't.
one of the worst thing about this show is that it is EXTREMELY long, for example here is all the important stuff happens from episode 7 till 24 (7 and 24 are counted here):
1) Tenma meets Nina
2)Dieter joins WAIT this asshole wasn't important at all! he wasn't useful in any fucking way! forget it this one doesn't count!
the True 2!) we learn about Johan's past a little! that he lived in kindergarten 511
3)Nazi parties are interested in Johan and there is a walking little shit named BABY (for real!)
4)Tenma and Lunge (the only logical character in the series) had a fight together, no biggie!
5)Roberto (Johan's right hand) fucks Tenma's ex fiancé (Ev..OH I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT HER!)
-yeah how would you feel if you ex girlfriend gives back your ring right at the moment you lose your status? yeah like shit, that's how you would feel and that gold digger bitch would be the bad guy here right? well NO! According to the series! Eva only got depressed because Johan killed her family (one more reason to love Johan!) she deserved what was happening to her and the show desperately wanted to make us sympathize with her
yeah that's it! 20 fucking episode for that!! this could easily be summed up in (at most) 6 episode.

25-40 (Season 2)
Now this Season! (yeah this anime is so fucking! long)
i love this season! because finally we get to meet Johan and boy isn't he a fantastic speaker?
in episode 25 we are introduced to Karl, seems like he is looking for his rich daddy! so he joined his kinda club where people join to read for him, and yeah you guessed it Johan is a member also.
now episode 26 (5 Star Episode)
one of my favorite, Johan get to talk (fucking finally!) and he proves how charismatic he is, really at one point in some sort of dump-like-place, he describes it for Schuwald (super rich Daddy!) and all you want is to be next to Johan and hug him! he is extraordinary eloquent
and in the end of this Ep we see Richard! the poor bastard who was getting close!
in 27 and 28 Johan is trying to convince that pussy Karl to meet his father and we learn about Richard's dark secret
EPISODE 29 (5 Star Episode)
Johan is tired so he decided to fuck Richard up! i really LOVE how he buy the whisky (he Fucking Knew he is going to mentally break him) first he make Richard to accept the guy he killed was just a little innocent baby! then he convince him he had no evidence against the dude he killed (even though there were 9 rape case about him!) and then he calls on his bullshit that he was just drunk and making him believe with that sin he shouldn't meet with his daughter, NOW it's time to give him the whisky! after he gets drunk it would be a good time to bring the idea of suicide!
This episode is PERFECT
after episode 29
we meet tenma again and he is doing push ups (even though he is going to shoot Johan!) and he gets a chance to shoot Johan but he chicken out! and some old fuck tells him a weirdly related story about a guy who shoot blah blah blah!
EPISODE 33,34 (5 Star Episode)
in this one Johan is not present but something similar is!, Nihilism.
it was so pleasing to see that kid kicking that poor fuck and says: ("HELP ME!,DON'T KILL ME!, right?!")
and seeing Johan spoting the place Tenma will choose for shoot him, and watching Johan in agony after he read the book that brings back his dark childhood so he faints, that was cool! (usually i say it's bullshit but not this time)
after he receives a letter from THE Whore! he decided to meet her and she talks about cock with him!! (it was kinda cool to see how Johan remains calm and looking at her like she is a maggot which she is!) but the best part is when she realize Johan did anticipate her betrayal so he asked Roberto to fuck her beforehand! (both literally and metaphorically!)
Episode 38 (5 Star Episode)
till this Ep tenma was wasting time (again) and Johan changes his plan,he decided to discover his past -after he lost consciousness- instead of taking control of Europe's Economy! (Usually i say what a fucking idiot but knowing Johan i'm pretty sure it was a piece of fucking cake for him and he could do it later!)
So he burn's Schuwald's Library (well she burns!) OK i'm going to say it! how the fuck did he convince her to do that, i know Johan is Smart and all but we just saw him 2 time in action! it's not that fair to take advantage of those times forever BUT i kinda understand technically it's kinda impossible to show every time he manipulates a victim and he is supposed to represent the IDEA of such a person.
anyway!, tenma comes and points the gun at Johan for the forth time now! and Johan gives his memorable pointing to his head reaction! it was so cool i mean even though tenma is the one with gun but Johan is mentally Superior here! tenma is scared not Johan!
and in the end that FlashBack Bitch comes! (Nina) and shoots at Johan and she misses all five of them! and Johan vanishes somehow! and the big surprise! tenma didn't shot him! WOW WHO SAW THAT COMING!

well Johan frames that horny dude! his face was so funny at the end! he was like "what the fuck happened?!!"
EPISODE 49 (5 Star Episode)
Never let Johan talks to your kid, let him talk to you ex's! ;)
episode 50 till 59 are not necessary, they weren't that good! the only good part was when Johan in 56 meet with her mother (not literally!)
EPISODE 59 (5 Star Episode)
it's weird! this guy martin didn't impacted the story itself at all but his story was really fascinating and how that dude tried to crush his mental state! it's a really good episode that's not important to the show but you would love it!
Episode 61 (FUCK THIS STUPID CLICHÉ EPISODE)
this Episode made me HATE Nina, it was extremely stupid, all she does is getting a little flashback BUT Not the whole thing because if she does her character is over on this show!
at one point she tried to suffocate his therapist while she was KINDA! Possessed! (no joke) while screaming "TADAIMA!" well OKAERI MOTHERFUCKER! now shut the fuck up!
Episode 62-63 were totally useless
From 64 to 70 is just basically getting other characters to realize where Johan is headed

Johan's people are giving gun to people in a village to recreate something like what happened in kindergarten 511
(side note: Johan is looking for the True Monster who made him miserable:Franz Bonaparta)
which now he turned into Santa Clause! which didn't make any sense! that a monster like him is sorry

funny fight between Lunge and Roberto! worth the time :)
OH let's not forget! NINA gets Flashbacks for about 5 minutes! this girl is a real psychopath, I'm telling you!
EPISODE 73,74 (5 Star Episode)
Finally Johan appears! and it was cool and tenma didn't shot!....FUCKING ASSHOLE!
but I understand!...just kidding I don't!!
Johan is so vulnerable in this episode, if I was tenma I would shot that kid and give a hug to Johan!! well I wouldn't shot Nina because Johan would kill me after that but I would if he didn't care!
in was weird and kinda cheating, tenma should have shot him, not that delusional alcoholic fuck but any way Johan get's shot and later in last Episodes it is revealed what Truly fucked Johan in his Childhood, her mother's choice

A Great anime which should have been shorter! YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT because of Johan he is such a complex villain, there are so many depth to this character, you can understand his motives and why he is the way he is? and at the end you realize Monsters are not burn that way, and they are still out there among us (this was the meaning of the last Episode when we see Johan has escaped)
