In the beginning, it was an action packed adventure, but nearing the end, it became monotonous. Ash as a character became more and more banal and the fact that he left his friends after the season made me angry. Overall, I thought that it was a pretty decent storyline, but the antagonist used the same old attack. The fact that the protagonist didn't recognize it right away astounded me. Other than that, it was a well written and acted out story. If the protagonist didn't leave his friends at the end, it would have been even better. (Notice: I like happy endings)
