The main characters have the same feel; in [C], Kimimaro and Mashu are in a trust relationship that also seems like a one sided master pet relationship; in [K], Neko and Shiro also have the same relationship. Additionally, both animes contain a fine line of fantasy, and the fighting style is similar [although in C they use assets, and in K they use swords or other magic] Minaki also highly reminds me of Mikoto Suoh from K.
