Starting with the positives: Karakuri Odette is an enjoyable read. The female protagonist is very likable, and is what makes this series truely shine. For the most part, it makes you want to continue reading, and only becomes draggy somewhere in the middle. Nonetheless, Karakuri is a simple, light hearted read. If you are looking for a shoujo with a serious romance (I'd go as far as to say that there is no romance in this series and it's more about Odette and her friends) and solid plot, then I'd suggest avoiding this series.
The negatives: My main issue with Karakuri, is obvious lack of
...
direction it exhibits. Suzuki Julietta seems to be overly ambitious, and wastes time introducing a vast array of characters and plot lines, without being able to decidedly focus on a few and fully develop them. After promply being introduced, a character/plotline would then disappear from the rest of the manga. She does this consistently throughout the series, to the point where it became increasingly annoying. This is a real shame, because Karakuri is driven by it's cast, and there are a few great characters who had a lot of potential, and could have benefited from more background story development, such as the professor, Chris and Asao. Instead, Suzuki introduces even more characters very late in the story who we don't have time to be invested in. Also the ending was unsatisfactory and didn't tie anything up.
In conclusion, Karakuri Odette somehow manages to be entertaining with it's simple story and art. The series seems to have high ambitions, yet fails to fully act on those ambitions. Basically it has a lot of potential to be something greater, yet falls short due it's numerous plot holes and inability to utilize it's characters. Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10.

Cat Street started out really good. The story appealed to me a lot, since I could relate to Keito and her friends, feeling like "stray cats". I liked the idea of a free school, and the characters were unique and realistic.
Unfortunately, somewhere around chapter 15, is when it started going downhill. The pacing suddenly grew REALLY fast. The plot lines and romance were extremely rushed, and the mangaka even threw in time skips, all within like 15 chapters. Its like the mangaka suddenly found out that she had to condense her story into 35 chapters when really, it could have been at least 50 chapters.
The
...
rushing of the plot/romance, along with the abrupt change of pacing weakened the overall quality and strength of the manga. It even hindered the character development that started so strong in the beginning. I like Kouichi, but I think that he was the most underdeveloped out of the four main characters. This was a real let down, because I really liked him.
Also, the plot lines started to get unrealistic and far stretched, venturing into the cliche shoujo zone. The whole thing with Natsumi was totally unnecessary and unrealistic. I'd have preferred the author spend those chapters developing Keito and Koiuchi's relationship or developing Koichi's character more. Its really too bad, because I liked Cat Street a lot.
For the first part (chapters, 1-15~), I rate it 9/10, whereas the overall manga, is a 7/10.

Story: 7/10 Good old Wagnaria. I've been following this series since the first season began airing. Its truly been a pleasure watching these characters on screen. The story is a simple yet enjoyable slice of life. However, the third season had much more substance compared to its preceding seasons.
One downside to Wagnaria, is that its jokes follow the same repetitive formula. I wouldn't recommend marathoning all three seasons because of this. Thankfully this issue wasn't as severe in this season since as i mentioned, it focuses on multiple plots throughout the series.
The biggest disappointment for me was the last episode. The pacing was strange and
...
it ended up feeling forced and rushed. For a series like this, I was really looking forward to a warm-hearted ending with closure. They set everything up perfectly with Yachiyo's departure and Tanashima's promotion, but those warm fuzzy feelings were interrupted by the producers trying to simultaneously fit in a rushed conclusion to Inami and Takanashi's plot.. which they weren't able to do so they pulled something out of their ass and ended it abruptly.
Characters: 9/10 The characters are the backbone of Wagnaria. The cast is small yet solid and unique. I've honestly grown to love all of the characters in Wagnaria; including Takanashi's sisters, Otou-san, etc. In S3, we especially get to see lots of character development which was great (Yachiyo, Satou, Inami, Aoi, etc.)
Enjoyment: 8/10 I always enjoy sitting down and watching an episode of Wagnaria. Its light-hearted, cute, fun, and funny. To be honest, I'd like a fourth season (especially because of that terrible last episode) because I enjoy it that much!
Overall: 8/10

This manga was interesting and entertaining. It intrigued me from the start and introduced some great concepts.
Unfortunately, starting from the Nanako arc, it went downhill. Towards the end, everything grows rushed and ends flat. All the terrific character development is abandoned as Manabu, one of the main characters, is reduced to a minor character.
While the manga introduced multiple fascinating concepts, it failed to fully utilize them and ultimately failed to be meaningful. Instead, the author throws a bunch of twisted "wtf" moments and overplays it in an attempt to be meaningful. Could fool those who are newer to this genre, but (sadly) it
...
couldn't fool me.
