Well I'll say this. I think that this anime is the dark horse of the season. An anime about the space race is definitely something that I have not heard of before. Add the vampire tag and you have a recipe for a distinctive anime.
Story 8/10:
I really like the story for this anime. A race between two enemy nations to get a manned spaceship into orbit. Put this together with the main duo of the series Irina Luminesk and Lev then you have a story about 2 people bonding over their love for space and desire to get to somewhere special to them.
Art 7/10:
The
...
art and animation for this anime is quite pleasing to look at. The characters have been drawn well and a lot of attention has been given to each one of them. The animation of their movements is also very fluid and well made especially during training drills they do in the anime such as parachuting or zip-lining. The background art and attention to detail of the subject and surroundings of each scene are also well made and extrudes an aura of high quality.
Character 7/10:
The characters for this show are decently portrayed but the key stars are Irina and Lev as they are the protagonists. Lev is an ex astronaut candidate whose dream is to go into space and those feelings he has for space are well shown as he helps Irina train her hardest to be fit for space travel. Since he himself is not able to go to space anymore due to an incident that caused him to be demoted, in a sense, it seems like he is pushing his dreams onto Irina so she can get to space for the both of them. Irina herself is also a spectacle. She is a vampire who has been captured and forced to become an astronaut to the launched into space as a test subject in order to see if space travel is suitable for humans. At first it seems that Irina is just a slave that is ordered to obey their commands but the more you look at it you realize that she herself has a strong desire for space. She obediently does what she is told and forces herself to go through hellish training all for a dream that she has.
Enjoyment 8/10:
I really enjoy this anime. It is definitely an underrated show that has been overshadowed by bigger names this season. There is a lot to enjoy about it. It is informative about a lot of things to do with space travel and the preparations astronauts have to go through. It also gives small accounts of historical fact about the history of humanities interest with space.
Overall this anime is the definite dark horse of the season in my opinion. You should give it a go if you enjoy this type of historical anime with a fantasy twist.

Mieruko-Chan is another anime that has aired recently that I have read the manga for prior to the anime announcement. This often influences my opinion of the anime a lot especially for manga series that I enjoyed a lot. Mieruko-Chan is no Exception to this. I am really enjoying the manga and so I went into the anime with a high expectation. And I got to say, the anime did not disappoint.
Story 7/10:
The story for Mieruko-Chan is one that I think is quite unique. It is a comedy show with that has horror as its main troupe and the way this series does it is
...
very nice. Most of the anime is episodic with each episode having more than 1 mini story in it. However this changes as the story progresses and Miko's curse is explored more.
Art 8/10:
The Art for this anime was one of the things I was skeptical off as the manga had mage the monster designs so creepy and grotesque that it worked perfectly to instantly change the mood of a scene into a complete 180 of what it might have been 2 seconds before. The anime really surprised me because the monster designs are so on point and the way they are animated to life adds so much to a scene. It is not just the monster designs either. The characters all look really well drawn and animation. Miko's facial expressions and her mannerism around the monsters is so amazingly animated that you could tell her exact emotions even without the presence of the monsters.
Character 9/10:
I really love all the characters that are in this series. Miko is a normal girl that has randomly gained the power to see monsters and the way she deals with it is somewhat believable. Miko tries to have a stoic exterior when confronted with spirits, but is internally frightened by them to the point she is on the verge of crying every time she is is confronted by one.
Enjoyment 9/10:
This anime is honestly one of the few anime I am watching this season and it is the one that I look forward to the most every week. The emotions I feel when watching Mieruko-Chan are far and varied, from joy to suspense and even a bittersweet feeling when the show decides to throw a bit of a sad or wholesome moment your way.
Overall Mieruko-Chan is a great anime that I would recommend to anyone that is interested in slice of life comedy shows with no romance but instead a horror twist with often more suspense than fully fledged horror anime and monster design that would make H.P Lovecraft cry in shame.

Now this is really something. A unique twist on the isekai genre that everyone has come to develop a love hate relationship with. A protagonist who doesn't fight with op magic or cheat abilities but instead fights with... oh wait. He doesn't really fight. Well not by himself anyway so lets just say he fights with realism and the power of his big brain.
This anime is one that reminds me of Ascendance of a Bookworm and a bit of Reincarnated as a Slime. It focuses on the protagonist using is knowledge from his previous world to rebuild a falling kingdom from almost being a ruin.
...
He doesn't fight and instead does paperwork. Boring? Yeah, it definitely sounds like it. However the thing where this series shines in is its use of characters. Instead of the protagonist solving everything himself, he uses the abilities of others to help in his cause which does a lot to show his resourcefulness and more importantly his realism as he isn't just magically able to do everything.
The main focus of the anime is more cantered around politics in a world set around the medieval era. In this regard, I think it is similar to Log Horizon, which is an anime I really enjoy for similar reasons, since it dabbles in a lot of this political talk and about logical things that can be done to make a kingdom better, The protagonist uses his knowledge from Earth and it's economics to make the kingdom better which is the main plot point in the story thus far. Other than the typical "get rid of the demons" plot every isekai seems to have.
Overall, this is a solid anime and really enjoyable to watch. The art is pleasant and not too bad. The characters are enjoyable. The plot is a really nice one if you are into that sort of stuff. Nothing really bad to say about this one.

The detective is already dead. The title alone makes this sound like its going to be a drama mystery show. Maybe a phycological thriller with fantasy elements. The synopsis even adds to this making you think that it really will be so. And yet the cover doesn't match this presumption in the slightest. Something is wrong here, I can feel it.
It's as you would've guessed from the cover. A slice of life kind of show about the main character getting into trouble with detective stuff long after his partner is crime has perished. So far, the plot is something that would be no different whether
...
Siesta was dead or not. Two high schoolers solving mysteries and dealing with bad guys along the way with the heroine falling for the MC along the way. In a sense it's a convoluted form of a romcom.
All of this is ignoring one thing that really bugs me. The whole show makes Siesta out to be the main character, the main heroine of the anime and yet is explicitly states that she is already dead, heck even the title is telling you, and yet most of the character's development is based around her and not themselves. It makes it seem like their all just another aspect of Siesta and not their own individual people.
Well if you take all this out and just watch it regardless. The show itself is surprisingly rather enjoyable. The things that the duo do together can be fun to watch. It's just that the show really wasn't what I was expecting.

So this series is trying something new, I guess. At least in terms of what I have seen from the romcom genre. A romance anime where the MC picks both love interests instead of one. Sure, it sounds interesting from the premise for those who like romcoms as its something new to deal with and situations in this series might not be as cliche as regular romantic comedies.
The only issue is that Kanojo mo Kanojo is just bad. because both love interests have already been promoted to girlfriend, it takes away a lot of the potential character development as well as the relashionship development
...
between said love interests and the MC and it also takes away the chance for the viewers to pick the better match out of the options and have their standpoint on the characters change and progress.
This type of anime might work if its a pure comedy anime or something with a twist that creates actual plot developments and story. For example, the MC could be secretly dating the love interests without the other ones knowing, which would lead to the development of drama and a goal for the MC to work towards, not letting the girls find out about the others (although this kinda sounds like something where everyone would trash on the MC for cheating).
I recall now about reading a manga that is similar to this series called Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo (The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You) that has a premise similar to this one. However I feel that that manga does this "troupe" a lot better. The manga has a main story point for it to focus on and yet it never takes itself too seriously. You can tell when reading it that it is a comedy manga first and a romcom second. In that regard the manga is like a superior version of Kanojo mo Kanojo.

This anime is one of the best adaptations to come out in the past year or so. Everything about the anime is close to perfect for what it is trying to be. Even the first three episodes alone do more than a lot of 12 episode and even some 24 episode anime do in their entire run time.
Story - 9/10
The story is quite unique. An immortal orb that is given the ability to morph into anything that it comes into contact with in order to experience whatever sensations the original object would have. At first it was a rock, then a wolf until it finally
...
took on the appearance on a young boy. The story is all about the orb, Fushi, and how it travels around place to place experiencing new things for the first time as well as the story of the people it meets and their struggles as well. This anime is without a doubt full things to come and with what is initially set up, almost anything is possible.
Art - 8/10
The art in To Your Eternity is very well done. The characters look good and their animations look polished and smooth. The scenery in the episodes also looks incredible and everything fits the atmosphere of the story as a whole. Even the animation on things other than fighting, such as Fushi's regeneration and transformations look amazing. There is no real fault I can find in the art but all I can say is compared to a few other anime I have seen, the art looks nice but generic.
Sound - 8/10
The sound design is really something in this show. Even in the first episode, you can feel how carefully the music was produced as it all fits the anime and what was going on perfectly. This quality in sound does not fade as the episodes progress either. each episode has fitting music that elevates the tension in a situation or even dramatizes scenes more than they should be. Paired with the gorgeous animation, this makes the scenes stand out and really eye-catching for the viewer. The songs used in the OP and ED are also pretty great pieces. They fit the anime's entire aesthetic and are quite catchy making you not want to skip them at all.
Character - 7/10
The main character who the anime is focused around is an immortal orb which gets the name Fushi. Fushi is a really nicely written character and the actions that Fushi does throughout the series are really reflective of the fact that he is not really human and does not understand what it truly means to be one. This is clearly shown in the anime as well since as the episodes progress you can see his adaptability show which is slow but more realistic. The other characters that have been introduced are also well written but none as much as Fushi is since the anime feels like its mostly focused around the orb which makes sense that he is the one with the most development.
Overall - 9/10
Overall, To Your Eternity is one of the best anime to come out recently and is something that I think everyone who enjoys this medium should give a try. It is definitely something that has detail in every regard and you can see how much care the studio is giving to it which is quite nice to see

I am a big fan of Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? as I have read both the Light Novel and Manga for the series long before this anime was announced. It is probably one of my all time favourite Light Novel series. That being said, the anime is kind of a let down if I am to be honest. I didn't really expect much from it to begin with after seeing the promotional trailer for the anime.
Story 8/10
The story is kind of unique in a sense. The main character dies and gets reincarnate. However this time she is reincarnated not as a hero or an
...
overpowered character, but instead as a weak spider. In a sense this is similar to That time i got Reincarnated as a Slime but unlike that anime Kumo Desu Ga, Nani ka? actually shows the Kumoko's progression from being a weak spider with no abilities whatsoever to becoming a really powerful arachnid. The anime does this plot point how you would expect it to. Its not anything amazing but still quite enjoyable. The anime does also include a side plot involving the rest of Kumoko's class after they had been reincarnated as well. This story wasn't included at the start of the Manga like it is in the anime but its something else that can add to the story.
Art 5/10
The art in this anime has its ups and downs. Like a lot of anime it suffers from the bad use of CG at quite a few points throughout the anime. Other than that however, the animation and art style isn't too bad, I have seen a lot worse even from this current season of anime, and even the CG used has moments where it can genuinely look good
Character 7/10
Kumoko's personality, while not being completely original and perfect, suites her character quite well and also brings some comedic value to the whole anime in general. However, I feel that Kumoko is one of the only character whose personality and character are worth watching for. The rest of the cast including the rest of her ex-classmates have somewhat bland personalities even if they do provide something to watch.
Overall, despite having a lot of obvious flaws with the series in general, the anime for Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka? is something that I would recommend you to watch if you are a fan of the Light Novel, Manga or just a general Isekai fan like me. It seems like a show that you can watch without thinking too much and going full analytic mode. Just turn off your brain for 25 mins and enjoy.

MINOR SPOILERS
Zombieland Saga is probably one of the only idol anime I've watched and it is so damn enjoyable. Season 2 has been more of the same from our favourite 7 undead and of course cant forget about the over zealous manager Kotaro who blew away the audience with his over the top personality.
Story - 7/10
The story for season 2 is almost the exact same as season 1, with the main cast continuing their idol shenanigans all while trying to top the charts and take over saga. But what exactly is saga and Kotaro's plan with the girls. Zombieland Saga has a lot of mystery
...
surrounding the main plot that is left unanswered and it really adds to the story. Why did Kotaro revive who he did? How did Kotaro even revive them to begin with? Why does Tae act like an animal? The anime really has a lot it can develop on and use for its plot which I am quite interested in.
Art - 6/10
The art style is nothing to write home about. It is just the same as a lot of other anime out there. Nothing really noteworthy to say other than the fact that seeing the zombie like aesthetics and traits animated is quite amusing to watch. The CG animation on the other hand is still as bad as you would expect from CG in anime but I don't think it would be fair to say the whole anime has bad animation because the creators thought it would be a lot easier to use CG for dance scenes since animating dance choreography seems like a lot of work when done in 2D.
Sound - 8/10
As an idol anime, the sound design in the show is really well done and feels fun to listen to. Both the instrumental music used as well as the songs the group sing are really well done with the latter really feeling like it came from an actual idol group. The OP song really fits the anime as a whole with the way it sounds. Creepy to show the zombie side of the show and yet still cheerful and full on determination from the singers like you would see in a group with a lot of passion.
Characters - 9/10
The characters is where the anime really shines. Every character you meet has a unique personality in the show and they all seem like genuine people instead on just 2D drawings. They all have a well thought out back story relating to their life including the causes of their death and how it has affected them after resurrection. For example, when Junko was alive she was an energetic girl who was full of personality that she showed to everyone but you can tell how her death in a plane crash has affected her mentally after reviving as now she is very docile and not expressive at all. She is the most shy and quite of the bunch even though she might have been in the centre of it all if she was still alive. This level of character development is something I really like to see in anime and with Zombieland Saga we have not just one or two but 8 people whose characters can get more development including Kotaro.
Overall Zombieland Saga as a whole is an anime I really enjoy watching even as someone who generally tends to avoid idol anime. If you liked season 1 of this, you will no doubt love season 2 as well.

This manga is a unique one for me since I havent read one that touches on the ideas and points that this one does. In that regard I think this manga is quite good. However as a general manga that I read, it was mediocre to say the most.
Like I mentioned, the story is a unique one and had a lot of potential with what it set up in the first 3 chapters. With that said, I think what the manga did do was very lackluster and didnt use its potential at all. While I wont say it stayed safe with its plot, I can
...
say that it didnt bring much to the table outside of exactly what you would expect. While it did provide one major plot twist which did change the story, it felt way too forced and is also riddled with cliches in a sense.
The characters in this manga are the worst part of it in my opinion. The main two characters have their backstory and thoughts explained since they are the protagonists, every other character that was introduced as being somewhat major to the plot didnt have as much development so it made them seem more like side characters than anything. While characters having flaws is acceptable since no one can make a perfect character, the ones in this story were too annoying in a sense. They were all there for one point and almost no other reason. Some of their actions made no sense and without some the story wouldn't have been any different. Even the protagonists seem too single minded and without purpose. The female protagonist especially seemed completely like a plot point and outside of that was completely useless.
With all that said, I can't be too harsh on the series since was only 4 volumes or 32 chapters long which is quite short. It would be almost impossible to fit everything I would have wanted into that short of a page count. And besides I can say that the manga was quite enjoyable regardless of its flaws. Sure at times it was frustrating to see how the story develops or how the characters act but other than that it is a manga that tackles a topic that while I cant relate to I'm sure there are some people out there who can. So maybe for them it would be a more enjoyable experience

This anime is honestly hilarious to watch. It's been quite a while since there was an anime I have enjoyed watching to this extent.
Story 8/10:
The story is definitely a unique one (to me anyways), an high school student Iruma gets sold to a demon by his bitch parents. But instead of eating him like normal demons would, the demon he got sold to instead decides to make Iruma his grandson and send him to demon school as an honor student. Only problem is that not every demon is as nice as his new granddad meaning that he has to keep him being a human a
...
secret or risk getting eaten. This makes for a lot of funny moments as he is trying to cover up his secret all while trying to have fun at his new school.
Art 9/10:
The art for this anime can be described through one world - Beautiful. The art and animation in this show are some of the best I've seen in a while. All the animations are spot on with the backgrounds having great attention to detail as well as fitting into the feel of the anime extremely well. On top of all that the show is filled to the brim with bright colors which really help set the scene as well as show that this isn't some horror show with demons ans is instead a fun comedy. Without a doubt one of the better animated shows this season.
Sound 7/10:
I can say without a doubt that the music in the show are very well done. Both the OP and ED fit very well with the anime both in terms of the atmosphere and in terms of the premise of the show. The music and sound all sound soft and full of energy which definitely reflects the mood well.
Characters 10/10:
Wow. The characters are were this anime really hits it out of the park. Every demon that has been shown look incredibly detailed, you can tell the amount of detail in this show just by looking at how good the characters look. Every character has a different design with no two looking the same and most looking completely different. In addition all the characters have a distinct personality which differs from any other character. Even the side characters that only appear for gags seem realistic as they have great personality.
Enjoyment 9/10:
Like I said at the beginning this show is hilarious and makes me laugh every episode. It is clearly one of the best shows to come out this season and It makes me want to keep on watching it. I find myself constantly waiting for the next episode to come out, I haven't seen an anime that has me hooked to this extent in a while. Every episode leaves a huge smile on my face.
Overall 9/10:
This anime is a must watch for almost everyone. If you like comedy mixed with demons and magic definitely give this one a shot.
