"Gunslinger Girl" is a very misleading title, though it is clear why the producers would give that name to this show. Instead of the assumptions that it is purely surrounding wars and fighting, try to watch it. Though not as emotional as Clannad or Kanon, this anime focuses on unfortunate girls in life that are given a second chance, though under extremely unfavorable circumstances.
Story 9/10
Original, but lacking development at the beginning. Basically, the government takes girls (who had unfortunate, unrepairable damage done to them mentally or physically) and gives them a second chance at life to help them kill rebellious forces. The girls are
...
forced to become human weapons, and many of them are neglected of their feelings. To make sure that they are stable, each of them are assigned to a fratello (Italian for "Brother"). Their fratello is an equivalent to a caretaker in most cases, though they each treat their younger "sisters" in a different respect.
Art 8/10
Art in this could be a lot better, especially because it is set in Italy, and many beautiful monuments are there. However, it is very effective and suitable as a drawing style for this anime.
Sound 7/10
The BGM sonudtrack for this show is very good, but it doesn't quite live up to the standards that Gunslinger Girl sets in all the other aspects.
Character 10/10
There are not too many characters, but there is a heck of a lot of development from each and every one of the important characters.
Enjoyment 9/10

Death Note is, undoubtedly, one of the highest quality animes out there. The storyline is completely unique, original, and suspenseful; always compelling you to watch the next episode, but not disappointing you at the finale. When I first came across this show, I was skeptical about i after reading the description because I didn't like heavy, detective, murder, or horror shows. But trust me on this one, the gore is kept to minimum, and the story is pure genius as it is based on intellect rather then physical strength.
Story 10/10
A notebook falls from the realm of the shinigami, landing in the human world,
...
where a bright university student picks it up. The notebook, called "Death Note", has the power to kill whoevers name is written in it, even to the extent of controlling their time and conditions of death. However, one must know the name and face of the target for the note to actually take affect. Yagami Light, a boy with a strong sense of justice, decides to take it upon himself to rid the world of evil by killing the criminals of the world to create a new one. Meanwhile, a strange detective names L begins to hunt him down, and the race begins between the two geniuses.
Art 10/10
The art perfectly depicts the emotions and expressions that each of the characters are feeling. Although they are not the most detailed pictures, they are beyond expectations in distinguishing the characters from each other.
Sound 9/10
Not that this area was particularly lacking, but the sound could have been improved. Each character sort of had a theme song that really matched them and played a large effect on the film, but the opening songs could have been much better.
Character 10/10
Here, is one of the few animes where an intense plot can be made with a minimal number of contrasting characters. Yagami Light, L, Near, Mello, and Misa basically make up the plot. Each of the characters are painstakingly different, with realistic similarities, and are amazing in their own ways.
Enjoyment 10/10
This show will keep you on the edge of your seat, always wondering what happens next until you finish.
Overall 10/10

Beginning off with the horrid graphics, Bokura Ga Ita makes for one of the worst animes I have ever seen. True, this might be because I have very high standards and judge from the quality of art and sound. Honestly, I only forced myself to watch a couple of episodes until I finally dropped it for good. Basically, it's a story about a girl who falls in love with this controlling guy who sees his dead girlfriend in the girl. The main guy's best friend also falls in love with the new girl, and it's all screwed up, but not in an interesting way.
The storyline,
...
I will give 4/10. The idea is somewhat original and is pretty realistic, a characteristic that you don't find in many animes.
As for art, 1/10. Watch 5 minutes and you'll know what I mean.
The sound is decent, though it could have been a lot better.
The characters are pretty interesting, despite the poor quality of this show.
As for enjoyment of watching this, it might make you depressed. There is not much of a plot in this romance story, and the guy's controlling behavior makes you want to punch him half the time. Overall, I give this anime a 2/10.
