Well... let's just say that the anime did everything it promised, the story, animation, characters and settings were all very well done, with the highlight being the refinement of having explored this duality between the customs and characteristics of “traditional” Japan and “modern” Japan
The story hooks you in very well, but I think they could have developed certain characters a little more, instead of just having one romantic couple, it would have been nice to have had more, to the readers of the manga, I haven't read it, so the only reference I have now is the anime, and I'm basing myself on what
...
was presented to me in it.
I also want to make a few special comments: the stylization of the “Gyaru” and the way the level of sincerity has been applied to the characters is very interesting. Generally in other works, the creation of bonds and the process of mutual relationships is very slow, although here in Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi the romance itself is unfolding more slowly, the bonds between the characters have developed very well.
The anime in general is very good, I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone, after all there are some people who are quite boring when it comes to slice-of-life anime and romance, but when it's for someone I know would like it, I would definitely recommend it.

Man... speaking of the anime in general, the work is ok in practically everything, comedy, drama and romance, apart from the fact that the animation leaves nothing to be desired, however, I missed a greater depth in the story, there were several scenes that gave the impression of having a gap in the history of events throughout the anime, giving that impression of having “happened behind the scenes”, for example: Spoiler alert, when Shiraishi regains her memory without it being through Yamada, I would genuinely want to see Shiraishi's first reaction, another thing following the same line of reasoning, when the witches were regaining their
...
memory one by one I think it also deserved more depth in this part of the story since for me this was one of the biggest points of drama in the plot, and when it came to approaching this part it was almost like a “kiss the witches speed-run”. In short, I think 12 episodes was too little to develop all the characters in the plot and the interactions between them in a more individual way, apart from that... I highly recommend it, I love anime with a closed ending, especially those in the romance genre.

I know that many people only take into account how good the story and animation are when choosing their favorites, while others take into account how relevant the authors, studio and team involved in the work are, even basing themselves on past works made by them, and I also respect these criteria very much. However, Kamisama Hajimemashita is my favorite because of several other factors that can't even be catalogued or placed as a conventional parameter of choice, because it was something very unique. This anime wasn't recommended to me, but one day, when I was younger, I was watching it on giganima (an app
...
I used at the time in 2014/2015) and guided by the curiosity that the cover generated in me, I decided to do the 3 episode rule, but I ended up getting carried away and watched it all during the early hours of the morning, then something very unusual happened, whenever I finished an anime, I felt a sense of relief, like that feeling of accomplishment when you finish something important, but with Kamisama Hajimemashita it was something different, it was like a feeling of lack, incompleteness, I got so attached to the story that I was sad that I didn't have more of “that” at the same time as I was extremely excited and restless, in a good way, with what I had watched. A while later, when I got older, I was able to see more clearly why this anime had such an impact on me, and the answer, if I were to try to explain it in just one word, would be “adolescence”. It's not that it was one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, but because it came at a time in my life when I still couldn't deal with or understand certain feelings, being more open, at that time I had only watched fighting and action anime, such as naruto, bleach, knights of the zodiac, dragon ball z, among others. ... I'd never had any contact with anime more focused on drama and romance, and guess what, I started watching this one right after my first heartbreak. My point is that, no matter how good or bad an anime is in terms of story or animation, people will always choose their favorite anime based on what phase of their life they were in at the time and how much a particular work was able to fill that moment in their life. When I watched this anime I was helpless, needy and bored with shoonen works, and it just so happened that it was Kamisama Hajimemashita that got me out of it, but it could have been any other anime with a similar premise.
This wasn't a critique or review of the work, it was more like an open letter. but if you've read this far, thank you very much for your attention! ^^

Man... I remember to this day when I read it for the first time, I had simply fallen into this manga without any recommendations or spoilers, and to be honest, reading something new without knowing anything about the story, plot or how the manga would unfold is very satisfying.
Talking about the work itself now, I really liked the lines of this manga, they weren't too heavy but when necessary the mangaka managed to express the feelings conveyed on certain pages very well, and that's a very important point for me, especially when it's a romance manga, it's what brings the manga to life. The story
...
is also very well written and fluid, and the same goes for the tree of events in the story, which has managed to make the beginning, middle and end structure of the manga very enjoyable to read.
Finally, I'm a bit biased since I like Yuri books a lot, but this manga delivered a very honest romance to read, where all those scenes of drama and disillusionment culminated in, in the end, a very comforting and beautiful romance to follow. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it!

Lately I've been in the mood to follow some slice-of-life anime and Demi-chan wa Kataritai turned out to be a surprise for me, in a good way. They managed to structure a story that was very in-depth without making it monotonous or massive to watch, in fact it was so fluid that I watched all the episodes in one go. The anime itself has very decent animation, narrative and features, even though it wasn't very detailed, you could feel the care put into the animation and the work as a whole. As for how the story unfolds, I really liked the representation of using “different
...
people” to express the difficulties that individuals can face in society due to a lack of understanding of the conditions of others, and how we should always be open to understanding that specific people have specific problems and we will only know how to deal with them by looking at them from more than one point of view. The book as a whole addresses themes that I really like, such as a psychological approach to understanding people's behavior, attitudes and feelings, where even though the theme is supernatural, the solution is still very human, if you put yourself in the position of “opening up to someone and venting about what's been affecting you” in search of advice and comfort. All in all, I highly recommend this anime because, in the end, it's not about demi-humans with problems, but about knowing how to deal with diversity, problems, traumas and, in the end, being able to move on.
