In a world where relationships come and go (and that's okay). Where love is not usually long, (and that's okay). And perhaps there is family dysfunctionality. This beautiful anime comes to show us the happiness of being alive, love, family union and enjoy the present through a fantastic complement, which gives a great lesson in real life. A Slice Of Life story that will make you think: Will a fruit that returns two old people to be young be funny or meaningful? Short answer: YES, SUPER YES.
You can't miss this little story of grandparents, about their life full of ups and downs like everyone
...
else, they are not special, they just go through life the best way they can, WITH LOVE, UNION, COMMITMENT. They also help their children and grandchildren with the voice of experience and help them to get ahead and not give up. If you have grandparents, love them, live with them, they are gone, or you are one of them, this wholesome anime will purify your soul, SUPER RECOMMENDED.
Decent animation for a SLICE OF LIFE, plus a storyline with specific stories to endear you to the grandparents, children and grandchildren, even the neighbors LOL.
It had the participation of its original author for the end of the anime, AT THE SAME TIME as the end of her manga. That doesn't happen often. And while yes, they skipped many stories in the manga that give more bonding or character development, it doesn't affect the plot and they chose the right stories so that the final chapter will strike a great arrow of love in your heart.
My opinion: It is not a perfect work and of course it has its clichés and maybe you are not a fan of animation or tropes, BUT I consider that it has an excellent ending that leaves most people satisfied. So my rating may not be so objective because it was very personal, but I'm sure you will like it.

One of Toriyama's most dramatic works is finally adapted and extended!
Sand Land, being short, is a raw and exciting story full of the mangaka's classic humor.
Humans and demons coexist, although distanced by their mutual hatred, more than 50 years of drought could end them, until a Sheriff decides to put an end to it by making a deal with the demons to find a source of water that, according to legend, It would be so big that it would return water to all of Sand Land. BUT beyond the horizon, there would be mysteries and interests about water and war, which our protagonists would face.
...
A story with many values about caring for water, prejudice, teamwork, camaraderie and of course, remorse and redemption (you will surely love General Shiva, the goat).
If we wanted to summarize the intentions of the story, I would say that the movie is an extended version of the original manga, the series is an extended version of the movie, and the video game is an extended version of the series. xD
This series brings the sand land movie divided in the first 6 chapters. The remaining 7 is the continuation with a new arc in which Toriyama participated a lot (including the video game). This part is very good and you get attached to the new characters like Ann and Lilith, also we discover that there are angels, some of them very resentful... An arc full of action, even Satan himself participates! And the ending, although somewhat predictable, was very acceptable and concludes Beelzebub's journey to become stronger.
Animation: Many are not fans of CGI, but it was generally maintained with very good CGI during all chapters, there are also 2D scenes in flashbacks or important events very well done in the second arc, a decent quality for a series. Both for those who read the manga and those who didn't, this is your chance to see the extended story of this wonderful world left to us by the author.

Movie that works for first time viewers and those who are up to date with anime TV! If I could sum up the movie in one sentence: The Forgers are not alone. THE 3 of them are a FAMILY and they must face problems together.
Many think they should skip it because it's not part of the story, but it's a satisfying and visual spectacle with a round beginning and ending that makes you can put it on BEFORE or AFTER S2. (There's a certain scene with Bond that's going to remind you of the last episode of season 2 and this is just one example).
...
They give you all the context so you understand the story from the beginning and the good thing about Spy Family is that it is very intuitive and they explain everything in detail.
Story: A plot that reminds you of how close the Forger family is and how their occurrences motivate them to stick together in a series of unfortunate events (very convenient) but that reinforce their family bond.
This movie mixed the best of the anime seasons and compressed it into one movie, even recycling some moments and phrases, but with another perspective, which makes it more enjoyable and that's why anyone can watch it without having seen anything. It has an absurd but very good comedy as it is to be expected from this franchise, you will laugh in more than one occasion.
ANIMATION: It's probably not that outstanding overall, but at key moments, both Loid and Yor's scenes get excellent animation sequences that you should enjoy in the theater. Even Anya has her "magic" moment which required great animation.
