Ningen Fushin no Boukenshatachi ga Sekai o Sukuu Youdesu (Adventurers Who Don't Believe in Humanity Will Save the World), as the description says, is a story about a group of adventurers who were betrayed at some point of their life, or more precisely recently if we follow the story, which left them in a state where they can’t trust other humans or other people in general.
As of this review only 13 chapters were out , but It’s obvious this is just one of those titles that’s not meant to be something big , just a decent story for anyone to enjoy away from the depth
...
or the complexity other titles may offer. Of course im not saying that’s bad.
Story/world: As suggested , this is a story focusing on the element of betrayal , the world we are introduced to is your typical fantasy world with adventures , magic , monsters, quests… etc , though it doesn’t have the game/Rpg elements such as levels , exp and all, as far as we know. At the beginning we are introduced to one of the main characters “, Nick” who’s an experienced adventurer , that’s currently in the middle of a quest with his long time party or guild that seems like it’s one of the best ones. Later on and after some events, Nick is falsely accused of stealing from his party ,him being the financial manager of the party , he was kicked from the guild right after that ,another reason is that he’s too smart to be an adventurer and he doesn’t belong there , as said by the guild master. And as if that wasn’t enough Nick once again gets betrayed by a person who he cared a lot about , leaving him alone ,depressed and lost.
Nick tries to get over the whole situation, after he encountered a certain stranger that gave him some hope , by finding some work ,adventuring in this world requires a party it is not possible to go in the dungeons, or labyrinths as they call them , alone , which seemed difficult to do as he was unable to even talk to other parties , as he hasn’t got over what happened to him lately , and he’s left to think about it by himself … until he is joined by a group of three who all had the same awful look he had , after a few drinks one after another they all started sharing what they had to say and it turned out they all had something on common , one way or another every one of them was somehow betrayed , which caused the group of four to related and feel the hardship the others went through.
The next day the decided to create a party, and as not to be betrayed once again a number of rules was set , keeping other members in check and the likelihood of betrayal low.
And that’s where the real story begins.
Characters: The characters seem unique, for the main cast at least , but nothing mind blowing ,it’s your usual adventurer party , they stand out a bit
First we have “Nick” , and though not official , the party leader , as said before he is an experienced adventurer several times than his party , he plays the role of the scout or light warrior in the party , offering assistance in the front lines and also the one responsible for most if not all decision makings.
After him we have the second member and maybe the most powerful one, the elemental mage or sorceress “Tiaana” . Tiaana” joined the party after losing her noble title after some event and also what she had left of wealth leaving her in the same state as the rest of the party
The third member is “Karan” a female human dragon hybrid, or dragon person as referred to in the story , she takes the spot of the vanguard being in the heart of the battle with her great sword and some abilities later shown in the story. She may had had the worse betrayal among the party, that almost killed her , and similar to “Nick” it came from her previous party.
Lastly we have the final member and the healer and main support of the party “ Sem “ , who’s a former priest , former because he also lost his title after an incident , leaving him corrupted
Art : Though I prefer the more detailed art style , I think the one this title offers is good enough, this type of art style fits well with this kind of titles ,the characters are well drawn somewhat unique apart from “Nick” ., the only issue I have is that the backgrounds should have more work put into them given by how often this title is updated.
Overall: Well ill just be repeating myself but still , (Ningen Fushin no Boukenshatachi ga Sekai o Sukuu Youdesu) is a decent story about adventurers who experienced betrayal in a world that requires trust to survive in, and them having to overcome their past to go forward , the story is nothing amazing but it’s a decent one , a good read if you are looking for a chill story , it’s not like I heavily recommend this title but just ….why not.

[Spoiler free]
I'll start by saying that i have no idea how i missed the title, i only found it a few days ago randomly.
Saying that berserk is being published at a slow rate would be an understatement , its ridiculous at this point so I’ve never expected Miura to be working on something else simultaneously…. But hey even if its not berserk at least we are getting something. (Note: I’ll be using berserk a lot as a reference)
Art: I’ll start with this one , the art is amazing , perfect , very detailed I expected nothing less from the man behind berserk ,
...
the art of both titles is very similar and I am a big fan of this style I have nothing to complain about , the only noticeable difference is that Berserk had a dark theme , but Duranki seems to be light hearted and you can tell the world is colourful , similar to Elfhelm in berserk.
Story/World: here as well we are introduced to this fantasy world that’s similar to berserk where you can find different races , species , spirits and most likely magic since we haven’t seen it yet. One thing added to the mix was the introduction of Gods , River Gods , Forest Gods , and so on … the first two presented to us are both Gods of wisdom and they were responsible of giving birth or as they said creating a child who’s “ not divine , nor human , not man , not woman ….” And was given the name “Usumgallu”. The child was given to another God with an appearance similar to Hermes from the Greek myth and was tasked with taking the child to the real/physical world or whatever you call it.
Finally the Child was found by an old couple living near the mountain and they took him and raised him as their own for several years , the story jumps years ahead and the child is already a young kid and the story goes from there.
The child is clearly not normal , not in a bad way , and also not the sex part , but it was how cleaver and talented he was and talented ,as shown when he made several tools , weapons and even structures , ones never seen in his world.
Another thing about him is his appearance, if you have read berserk remember how people looked at Griffith in the latest chapters of the story (as of this review), it the same exact thing and after encounter people become more and more found of him.
Characters : it’s too early to discuss the characters in the story , there isn’t much development the few information we got was from chapter 5 where it talked abit more about the side characters but nothing too noticeable to talk about , any reader will get the same idea when they get that far.
Everything special about the MC iv already talked about at the end of the Story/World part, thought it would be better if I mentioned it there.
Enjoyment: Hm I don’t what to say here , if I didn’t enjoy this title I wouldn’t be writing all this , but apart from that I did enjoy Duranki so far , again the story is still young and there’s a lot of potential here, I wouldn’t call myself a Miura fanboy but I really like his work , I only read berserk after all and if theres anything close to it I’m sure ill enjoy it and I’m sure berserk fans would agree here.
Overall: Duranki seems to be a very promising title , it’s too soon to talk in details about or to even criticize it , I’m not even sure if this is a real project I thought this is just a way for Miura to try and forget that he has a more important title to finish , and I don’t wanna get my hopes up looking at the Berserk release schedule…. But hey im just here for the ride.
Finally , ill just end by saying that if you liked berserk and are a fan of Miura’s works in general you should give this a shot , as of this review ( and probably for the next 10 years) I don’t think theres going be that many updates , so theres no harm trying for yourself.

[Spoilers from Chapter 1 and 2]
This is my very first review, i thought this title would be a great start because i do enjoy the elements it features, i have been reading this one for almost a year i think and i was just done reading its latest chapter (chpt 11),I’v seen theres no review for this so yea lets go.
Overall (9): [ I just saw how much iv wrote to ill just leave this at the top]
This manga is basically **The Witcher’s Manga** I could just leave it at that but …….the story isn’t very unique I would say its stereotypical but
...
it is done in such a way that its enjoyable , the writing is interesting it keeps you following , not detailed to the point where you look away or find yourself skipping, it’s not your usual isekai its much ,much better . The art is great and so are the characters .
If I were to be super critical I would’ve given this an 7 or even a 6 , but seeing how this title is "fairly new" and still has a lot of potential I’ve settled with a 8 because I really did enjoy it.
I cant recommend this highly enough, by the time of this review there’s 11 chapters anyone can get into it and seeing how slowly its releasing it’ll never be too late.
Character (8): I thought I would start with this one because I want to focus on the MC and how he is a well execution of an Isekai character and story and also an MC in general.
The isekai genre is at its peak right know and the industry is pooping out dozens of new titles each day , but it’s great to see titles like this one proving the potential of this genre .i am a huge fan of fantasy and Rpgs , but if every title is about a generic edgy boi or some random lad that’s overpowered since day one and the issue he faces is that he doesn’t have enough hands to grab the girls around him.
- In this story the MC “Lecan” doesn’t stand out that much , he has this simple and ordinary look, I wouldn’t call him the most original character design, hes that chill , cool dude you see in other titles and wish they had their own story . No he doesn’t have a legendary one shot sword/spell to fight or his mom with him to carry him but rather a very simple kit, his fighting style is displayed early in just the first chapters where you can see how he uses tactics and tries to learn and to adapt with his opponent again using a simple kit and his experience. At first the MC does look a bit overpowered but its due to the fact that he encountered weak enemies, as we find out as the story goes on , especially in this latest chapter (11) where we learn that the MC has still much to learn.
*But the most important part is that this title shows, as I said before, a well execution of a main character, his tools , abilities , encounters , they are all there working with the character to build the story , unlike other isekai ( any genre really but mostly this one) where the MC is pushed around by others and does little himself and if you take away their shiny sword you are left with a blank character.
- for the rest of the characters , they are actually likeable characters , the only problem is that theres no one interesting until the second part of the story.
Story/World (7): The story follows the adventurer “ Lecan “ also known as “The One-Eyed Wolf”. Lecan comes from a world filled with dungeons or as they call them “Mazes” and these mazes are always challenged by Adventurers such as Lecan who seek to get stronger , those lucky of them are said to encounter a “Black hole” , a portal to another world . it is said that those who entre it and survive what’s inside it and also manage to return will be rewarded with both wealth and strength. One day the MC “Lecan” faced a “Black hole” and went inside it without hesitation , and this is where the story begins.
After waking up , Lecan finds himself in a different world (obv…) where he doesn’t recognize the environment or the beasts around , yet he is still able to use his abilities without issue as shown with his first two encounters , the second one is important being it the one where he confronted other humans after saving them from monsters . After sometime given the fact that the human group was speaking an unknown language , Lecan was invited to the residence as thanks for saving them , and the story goes from there.
Art (8) : well for the art I’ll just be straight , I really enjoy this style its fantastic, simple and direct in a way meaning it doesn’t throw too much at once so it can let you focus on the important parts , unlike what I said in the character part , here in the Art the MC does stand out reason being the black or just dark color of his clothes and hair in contrast to the environment and the other characters.
Enjoyment (9): I’ll say it again , I am a huge fan of fantasy , and this title here delivers in almost every way without going through details and apart from that, it doesn’t release as often as I want it to be , but what can I do , the story isn’t progressing that fast which leaves at lot to be discovered and it can go in many ways , and that sadly doesn’t leave a lot of room for speculation , so far we are mostly invested in characters and less in world building , the balance between those two is what makes a great title in my opinion , but I like to look at this title as one of those….. I don’t know how to say it, but just those stories that aren’t really meant to be something great but they are just there for entertainment which is the main point of this medium.
