What do you get when you mix a fairly decent mangaka who's out of ideas and Disney - who now wants to become international with no avail? You get High School Musical! The manga. Yay! No, I'm kidding. It was dreadful.
Story: It was absolutely pathetic. I hated HSM when it was a stupid kids' movie, so I'm not exactly sure why I was drawn to the manga. I read 1 chapter, and I could already tell the score would be the same amount of chapters I read. Which was close to 0. Everything in the first chapter was rushed and the timing was horrible.
...
Given, this was not the mangaka's actual plot, so I can't say I hate her just yet...
Art: The art was pretty good, to be honest. I gave it a fair 6. Hey, anyone who can make a guy with the bushiest hair I have ever seen in my life look good, is amazing in my standards.
Character: Dreadful. They're all perfect little teenagers who think they have it bad because of some relationships flaw. Oh puh-lease. Given, the character development is a 2.
Enjoyment: Too bad they don't have any score lower than a 1.
Overall: It was just terrible. A 1, obviously. I truly hated it, and I should've never started reading it. The only good aspect was the cute art. But don't let this manga that should have never been created let you ignore the mangaka's other works. I've read some of her other shoujo mangas - and they were pretty good.

Loving the original Kuroshitsuji series, I was fairly excited to hear that there was a Kuroshitsuji Special. I squealed for about an hour (or nodded my head in approval, if that makes me seem professional in any way possible). My standards raised minute by minute, so don't be surprised when you see the overall score that I rated the Kuroshitsuji Special.
Story: 7 isn't too low, now is it? It followed a Shakespear play that I didn't even bother remembering - or taking notice of, for that matter. So that took off a few points for me. Nevertheless, it was the same Kuroshitsuji we all know
...
and love - except a different concept; if that makes any sense at all.
Art: A 9; Simply beautiful again.
Sound: An 8. I loved how the characters showed emotions when speaking their roles. It was not given a 10 because... well... I just felt like it didn't deserve a 10.
Character: It was great how Ciel could relate to the character he was acting, and how Sebastian helped him through it. What really set me off was how badly the other characters didn't match their roles; as if they were just chosen at random. But it could have been that way to make it seem more comical. Given, the character development and such is a 7.
Enjoyment: I loved the humour, I loved how Ciel could relate to his role, I loved how even in a play, it got so serious. Simply terrific. Sometimes I did a facepalm because I felt like Ciel was acting too seriously, but other times I was saying, "Hell yeah! Ciel you rock that role!" Instantly, the enjoyment was an 8.
Overall: The Kuroshitsuji Special gave me what I wanted and much more. Excuse the perverted pun. Sometimes it disappointed me, along with some unneeded embarrassment I felt for the other characters. So if you watched Kuroshitsuji, and you want more of that Ciel and Sebastian lovin', definitely watch this special. Oh, yeah. My overall rating is a 7. Only because at certain times I was wondering whether to continue or just flat out drop the special. But that's just me.

What do you get when you mix the dark and ominous Death Note and the funny and hysterical Katekyo Hitman Reborn? You get Kuroshitsuji; the odd anime, which gets you hooked right off the bat.
Story: The plot idea was something I have never seen before. It was so unique and thrilling, I had to give it a 9. Why not a 10, you ask? The answer is very simple and probably stupid to many Kuroshitsuji fans... I didn't know what genre Kuroshitsuji was supposed to be. It hinted shouen-ai, bishounen, comedy, something dark and ominous, it was all over the place for me. But that
...
doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it; I usually prefer to have a good grip on the genres and such.
Art: Obviously a 10. Need I say more?
Sound: An 8, which is much lower than I think it should be, but what the hell. The voices were perfect and everything. I just felt like some of the voice actors were too "into" their roles, which somehow set me off. Other then that, it would be perfect all around for sound. Excuse the rhyme.
Character: This is a score I usually don't give out quite often; a 9. Every character had their own background, which fit in perfectly with the anime. I loved it and was extremely interested in their backgrounds; which is quite unusual for me. Again, not a 10 because their backgrounds seemed a bit far-fetched. But hey, that's Kuroshitsuji for ya'.
Enjoyment: A lower score than all the others, I'm afraid to say. I enjoyed every minute of Kuroshitsuji, don't get me wrong. But unfortunately, I felt bored at some moments, like they were just dragging on a scene. And even sometimes, the scenes went by too quickly for my own likings. And that is what made me score the enjoyment a 7.
Overall: An 8. Brilliant anime. Minor flaws led Kuroshitsuji to get a lower mark from me. But I'm sure a lot of the users of MAL would disagree and rank it a 10 or 9. I recommend Kuroshitsuji for someone who's looking for something different and out of the box. It's perfect for any genre of anime; especially those yaoi lovers, since the mangaka does sort of touch base with shounen-ai. You will not regret watching this anime, I assure you 100%.

Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru... a very unqiue and interesting anime per say.
Story: The story was a 6 for me. A lot of animes and mangas have those gender bending ideas, but Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru takes the cake. I usually don't enjoy gender bending romances (that for me, hint out yuri - which I really hate), but it was somewhat enjoyable, I mean hey, I managed to survive through the whole series. A lot of the time I had myself pondering, "What the hell. A ghost?" and "This is messed up," but in the end, I am rather grateful to have finished the
...
series.
Art: The art was a 9. Simply beautiful. I really enjoyed their uniforms, but the hairstyles - like a lot of anime characters have - were overrated and the colouring was stupid. Unfortunately, a lot of anime characters have pink, blue, green, etc. hair colours I hate. So that would be the only reason I didn't rate the art a perfect 10.
Sound: The sound was average. Nothing good, nothing bad. So I rated it instantly a 7. Some of the voices suited perfectly with their designated characters, but some bombed the roles.
Character: I'm finding that a lot of mangas and anime characters are rated a 5 in character development for me. Same backgrounds, same problems, nothing special or fancy or interesting 'bout them.
Enjoyment: The enjoyment was definitely a 7. I enjoyed the anime, but felt like it could've been better in certain ways.
Overall: Overall would be a 6. I stated my reasons, and this anime isn't a must watch. You could live without it, speaking truthfully. I felt the need to mark this anime harsher because well... at first, I was very intrigued by the plot summary on MAL and the artwork, only to find myself disappointed countless amount of times. So please don't hate me for this review as it is my second review.

Hana ni Arashi; there are so many things right and wrong with it.
Story: The story itself would be a 7. To be truthful, there are many mangas that have the same plot as this one; a rich, beautiful man is in love with a poor, average girl. It's a very mediocre plot. But the reason I gave the story a 7 is because there are many twists and turns that I would have never expected. Nevertheless, it was an overly-used plot with bits of excitement here and there.
Art: The art was an 8. I loved the art, and it was pretty much the only
...
thing that had me motivated to read this manga. There's not much left to say about it.
Character: Character development would be a fair 6. A lot of the characters had the same attitude and personality; leading a lot of them to fall for the protagonist. Oh, did I mention that almost half of the characters were assassins or could jump from building to building?
Enjoyment: As embarrassed as I already am, the enjoyment for me was an 8. I laughed throughout the chapters, and I even cried being the soft marshmallow I am. The plot was as cliché as Twilight, but nevertheless, I really enjoyed it.
Overall: Overall, Hana ni Arashi was a 7 for me. Many users would rate this manga a 9 or 10, but I am a rather harsh marker. So to speak, any shoujo fans would really enjoy Hana ni Arashi.
