*CONTAINS SPOILERS*
Here is what went through my head when i was watching this anime.
1)Oh, i see, some generic stuff here but a nice twist with the demon lord i guess
2)Hmm... getting good, i like the action, hes pretty strong
3)Ok, some dude is wearing a power rangers suit.. ill let that slip
4)Ok wtf is going now, nothing makes sense, and whats up with all this crappy cliche wisdom quote crap...
5)Wtf.... just happened.... i didnt understand anything...
That basically sums up what i experienced during this anime. Now to expand on this
...
1)It started off ok, it felt very generic, nothing too amazing, ive been there done that, but at number 2) it got a bit better with the demon lord twists, his reactions, the ecchi scenes were a bit explicit for this anime and i got bored of them... i mean how much can boobs bounce... Anyways, i guess the demon lord twists was good.
3) Ok, so now this dude is wearing a power rangers suit, with all these new powers, tears a page out of the book King Arther, or however you spell it, and then slaps it into the anime with all the other crap inside.
4) At here i had no idea what was going on, it suddenly jumped form a good straight story line to a room where nuclear fusion was occuring, high pressure, high temperature (10,000,000 degree C), all the particles bouncing everywhere, trying to escape... And what made it worse was all that crappy "i die for my friends, i die for love, the power of love...." could it BE any more cliche (see what i did there :P, if you know chandler from friends you will laugh)
5) The anime ended very quick, i was like wtf just happened, who the hell is the red hair girl now that we know the truth, why do i see dejavu, can someone actually explain to me what the hell is happening. Why is everything repeating, why is he the demond lord again... It made no sense WHAT SO EVER!
What i did like about this anime, as i have already mentioned is the unorthodox aproach where the protagonist wants to be a preist yet turns out to be a demon, but became very cliche.
Overall, i have to say this atleast desrves a 7 for the good effort, but lost alot of potential for its crappy storyline....

Although many have said similar ideas to what i am about to present to you, i believe it really is true with this anime.
What i love about this anime is how each character has its own background story, from the great Yasha Ape, Baki himself, to Yuri and Hanayama. All these characters make up the base of Baki the grappler. But lets not forget our favourite devil (Yujiro Hanma), yes you all hate him at first, but you actually end up actually liking him, the way he breaks up fights, his annoying weird voice and his devilishness :P
The story is about baki, a 13
...
year old kid, training martial arts since he was 3 years old, and having his father (yes that messed up psychotic bastard) as an idol or a goal for his life. But at 13 years old, he left his controlled training and started running his life by himself, however coming to realise that his father is really a psycho and not some loving person, he aims to defeat him.
Baki then goes through several stages of his life, including defeating a 20Ft Ape with his bear hands, fists, and feet.
The funny thing i have to say about this (and i know someone already mentioned this in another review but its so true), everyone here takes steroids. Its like DBZ almost but not with the rapid unexplainable expansion of muscle and the sudden change in hair pigment colour and random yellow lines of supposedly fire that doesnt seem to burn the skin.
I mean, the one scene where baki (when he has orange hair) sitting on the river hillside, he is so big for his size and age, its pretty obviouse hes on roid rage. And lets not start on Yujiro. Dude that guy takes the pain like its nothing, and his face.... I swear he pumps roids in his face too... Just looking at his neck and how thick it is...
But even then, people like Hanayama, Baki too, they all take so much pain yet they dont suffer much for it. Do you think you will still live if you got kicked against a tree, and due to its impact the tree split in half at the base? I think you would die most definately.
A funny part of this anime that i remember was when Baki was climbing up a hill (this is on one of the earlier episodes), and has numerouse experiences of hormones or adrenalin or something. It reminded me of something we all do when we are very excited, and we are with the opposite sex (unless we are homosexual where its the same sex, or bi where its either sex) and we rease alot of white sticky stuff... Yes, do you go "UHG" when you have a sudden climax of hormonal release? I dont think so.
However, with all the steroid crap, climaxes and paracetamol they take, it still is an amazing anime. What i love about it is that it was so seriouse, and had a true fighting spirit within. It never got into comedy (which isnt bad, but for this anime, comedy would have probably sucked, baki would have turned out to be some dense weirdo, and it would have been something like hajime no ippo or historys strongest diciple kenichi, which arnt bad, they are also my favourite animes :) )
The sound, well the music are all pertty good. If you watched the english dub version you know what im talking about, that OP gets stuck in your head and it is an awesome OP.
As soon as i finished this anime, i just had to go to the second season... and i would reccomend the same for you to do also.

So i was sitting at home, alone, bored, watching some crappy documentory about some weird animals on tv or something... Half a sleep, so i thought ok im gonna pop a DVD of Monster or something in and watch a bit of that.
Watched about 2-3 episodes of that, bored from watching, uhhhggg so bored.... Then i remembered this DVD my friend gave me of Hajime no ippo of every episode in Dubs... I thought... hmm i might as well watch it, i been putting it off so long becaue of old graphics.
So i popped it in, and watched the first episode.
Mind = Blown....
...
I didnt even make a noise, just watched the second episode, then third... "DING DONG" god damit my parents are home, i should be in bed as it was 12 olcock at night....
From then on, all i could thing about that night was the amazing boxing that hajime had started, and the next morning of me getting to watch the next episodes!
Every episode in this anime is filled with awesomeness. So many epic fights, so many amazing training montages, so many comedy moments that i watch again and again and again because they are so frikkin funny.
for example one that is very memorable is the one where hajime na dhis friends are in this kareoke place, and they all go mental and start singing like idiots. Burst out laughing.
At many areas of this anime i had to surpress myself because otherwise i would burst out laughing and everyone would be like "WTF".
The story, although it is long, is very worthwhile. Definatly worth the watch.

Lovely complex, my initial thoughts as im writing this review is some thick as hell midgit and some desperate needy tall giant of a woman. But dont let this stop you from watching, rather enjoyable. I hate the dude though!
The story, as i just explain, well half of the story anyway, is about some thick as hell boy who is dense as steel (is steel dense, i dunno, but something really dense, wait carbon, carbon is dense, diamond), and some needy as hell girl trying everything at her disposal to get him to love her. (if i were here i would have smashed that face
...
with a rolling pin, but then again the rolling pin would probably break because of the denseness of his brain). In the end its all happy though :)
But what peed me off about this anime was the fact that the guy was stupider than in most romance animes. In most romances it takes the guy about a few episodes, and even then its not very obviouse the girl likes the guy.
In this anime, the girl makes this so obviouse, i literally want to grab the guys face and ram it against a wall till his teeth break.
Anyways, the art i thought was ok, i mean not the best of art, but hey, i dont really care about art as long as the actual series was good. It had some pretty weird faces too.
sound, i dont remember too much about sound but i know it got stuck in my head, and at first i liked it, then i started singing it (-_-), and then i started hating it. But it was all good. The sound was very good infact :) Oh yeah and i really liked the outro
The series was pretty enjoyable, especially the latter half of it, the first half was very, VERY, VERY fustrating! (Hate that dude). Seriously though, the dude is so ignorant of others feelings. Hes so stupid! Probably got dropped as a baby or something.
BTW i have nothing against midgits, infact one of my friends is rather short, and i dont like calling him a midgit, but when someone is that dense, it agrivates me!
Anwyays, so yeah, the series wasnt bad. Just the guy pissed me off, when he really came round to it, it was pretty good. But i suppose all of that denseness paid off when he finally realised.
If they could improve this series in anyway, LOVE TRIANGLE! That would have spiced it up a bit. I mean like a proper love triangle, not some crappy 1-2 episode one.
But thats just me. Others will probably disagree. (lol that rhymes)
Bye.

*MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!*
This is a review of Da capo both seasons.
Just before i start, if you are planning on watching this dont expect some deep romantic stuff to happen straight away. Most of season 2 is just fillers and i forced myself to finish this anime so i could get it out the way.
Story 6/10
Story was typical, guy is with girl, both love each other, few other girls come in, in both seasons there is one small midgit girl who is bitchy and wants male protagonist to herself causing the couple to breakup. Etc...
Art 8/10
probably only good aspect of da capo, good
...
clear art. I liked it! :)
Sound 7/10
Didnt really pay much attention but wasnt horrible.
Characters 7/10
Characters were typical, nothing new, but not crap.
Enjoyment 7/10
Some bits were rubbish, some were good. Just 7. Typical.
Overall 7/10
nothing new, not amazing, but not crap. Just good.

My first impression of Gundam 00 was a boring mecha anime, and it took me quite a while to get into the whole Gundam 00 since it was my first Gundam series.
I found the series pretty enjoyable and at time pretty damn epic. But lemmi just say one thing before hand. If you are looking for a mecha anime that is full of the bizzar with lots of comedy and random crap, then this is not it. Gundam 00 follows a seriouse tone and you get that feeling right from the very first time setsuna speaks. His voice... almost monotone.
If you are looking
...
for a random, epic, awesome, bizzare and funny mecha anime go watch Gurran Lagann. Its just as good.
Oh and also i would reccomend watching the first 3 - 6 episodes before you give up. It took me up to episode 6 to get into the anime and then it was amazing from then on. This is for the first season and second season. So when i say 3 - 6 i mean episode 3 - 6 of the first season.
Anyways....
Story 9/10
The story was ok, but i found it was contradicting itself with eliminating war with war. By getting world peace by using violence which is kinda strange. But later on the series you understand. It still got a good story anyhow.
Art 10/10
The art is pretty damn good. The first few episodes of the first series isnt as good as the second series but both are pretty amazing.
Sound 10/10
The sound all around is just amazing. I loved all of the OP's except for the last one. And i liked all the Ending themes except the first and last one which wasnt amazing but wasnt horrible.
Characters 8/10
The characters were good. There was no main protagonist untill you go up to episode 5 - 8 or so then you see that setsuna is the main protagnoist. But thats not what the series is about, celestial beings is the protagnoist and thats all you need to know. In the second series it becomes very obviouse that setsuna is the one since he gets all the cool crap.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I enjoyed it thoughryly, just damn epic at some times, and it had a good ratio of action, talking etc...
Overall: 9/10
sgood!

(this review is for both first and second season, the second season was better in my opinion)
This is one hell of an anime show. Never have i seen anything as amazing as this anime. I watched this and finished it about a week ago so my ego about this anime doesnt ruin this video but i still think this is an amazing anime.
The story:10/10
The story from the first episode gripped me in and i just kept watching. I watched about 3 - 4 episodes a day if i could. Usually 1 - 2. Each time i was throughly excited.
Art: 9/10
The art wasnt amazing
...
but i really loved the unique design. It deserves a 9 because its not outstanding but it is one of the greater graphics of animes.
Sound: 9/10
I have to say i didnt really pay much attention to the sound but i did like the intro and outros so il give it a 9
Characters: 10/10
Every character played a role, and lelouch is one hell of a hero. Damn, the characters swayed from me hating them and wanting to kill them, to me liking them, and then back to hating them. Many mixed emotions.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I would give it 11 if i could because i enjoyed it so much. Not one filler episode, every episode was filled with anticipation.
Overall 10/10.
Just a few words to end this review.
Watch this anime, it may not look good but trust me it is very much worth it. You will NOT regret it.

Ive given this an amazingly high review because this deserves it. Even though it is not my type of anime (i prefer anime such as code geass and deathnote) it was still worth the watch and awesome too.
Im not much of a review writer and i like to keep it short and as little spoilers as possible.
Story:
Two brothers on the path to get what they once lost due to a mistake caused by anger, sadness and depression of a loved one. The story develops well and becomes addictive. I like how they also kept it realistic for example in most animes its magic
...
that came from nowhere and has no meaning. In this anime it has a proper understanding and although not realistic, it is realistic, if you get my jist.
Art:
The art was amazing like most animes, so not much will be said except for excellent.
Sound:
The sound as in music was amazing since it brought out the action and anger in some parts while the sentimentality in other parts. All in all it deserves the 10/10
Character:
I myself liked all the characters except for one which was Wrath, who just really pissed me off. Al was my favourite character then came Ed. Mainly because Ed was a bit of a dumbass while Al was the more wiser one. All the characters were very well developed and sentimentality was very common upon all the characters except for most of the antagonists.
Enjoyment:
The enjoyment of this anime was also at 10 because it was just very enjoyable. Although it was not my type of anime it was still good, and i liked it very much. I liked the thought of alchemy and that there could be another world that consisted of that.
Overall:
It was very good and if you havnt watched this then i reccomend you to watch this, if not then watch brother hood. At this moment i cba to watch brother hood, maybe another day.
