There are some aspects of this film that are typical. The antagonist has lost a lot in his life and he is seeking retribution and justice for them in a twisted way. Its a lot like the my hero academia films in that respect, this movie is worth watching like those other films because of the incredible fight scenes and unique magic techniques not shown in the original manga. It is worth watching.
The magic of the previous wizard kings are amazing, also Henry gets an incredible role in the this film like when the bulls assasult spade in the manga.

the problem with Isekai anime these days is that they are being churned out at an extreme rate so some are good and some are trash. This one has a different take on it so I think it is worth watching. However I HIGHLY recommend watching it subtitled rather than dubbed. Even through I watch nearly all the anime I can dubbed, this dub STINKS in comparison.
I suppose my favorite episodes are 8 and 9 where the MC goes to his home country and what transpires there. It is a very interesting first arc even if it is a great change from the manga ... |
