Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (Anime) add

first of all let me just say this show is pretty good. As a Cyberpunk 2077 fan I already knew I would like the show but honestly it did fall short on some aspects and wasn't as good as I was hoping it to be especially since it was the Crunchyroll anime of the year winner. But anyways lets start off with the good things about the show.

1. The story itself is a decent one with some pretty surprising moments that kept you guessing or at least kept you entertained 2. not all characters got to be as fleshed out as I would hope for ...

Let me start off by saying that this was a good anime it had me on the edge of my seat at a lot of points and does a good job at handling real life topics like Religion and Mental Health. But it does have its few downfalls as well.

let's get into the good 1. The show does a really good job at having some pretty cool and interesting characters like the professor and Kanade and Hajime and no one was super tropish they all had their own unique stories while maintaining a good character development and style. 2. The premise to me at least ... is very unique I haven't heard of or seen anything quite like it so I give it props for having a pretty unique and very interesting story that like I said had me on the edge of my seat a lot of times. And 3. Despite the fights with the arrows being CGI (because the arrows are CGI) the fight scenes were still very good and well choreographed and were among some of the best moments of the show. I also give the show props for being as dark and gorey as it was. With some animes being scared to go to that extent or point I give this show props for not being scared to go to that point.

Now for the bad 1. Some of the plot points in the show doesn't really make sense like to me the biggest one is they mention Nasse being on earth before even God showed up and made humans and that she entered his body and he had to fight her out of it they mention it but then never go into it or explain any of it of like why Nasse was there before him and stuff like that. Nor do they mention why Nasse is the only special rank angel to have a unique ability (touching humans) So to me just some of the plot points were weird and didn't make sense. And finally 2. The ending just to me wasn't good I can kind of understand why Shuji made the decision he made to kill himself and God to show the professor that it's over and that the false God and false heaven has fallen but in doing so also kills all of humanity because God made the humans. Like it just kind of makes the show pointless because everyone dies anyways sure they got to live another 6 years but everyone still died and it just made the whole selection process and the show pointless like honestly I would of rather had the stereotypical everyone lives happily ever after ending instead of this one.

Anyways the show itself was still good again it was unique and interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat and interested throughout the whole show with characters that were also unique and I will probably remember for awhile just had a few down falls with the ending being the biggest one. So with the many goods and a few bads here and there I am giving this anime a 7/10

This movie was a fantastic way to wrap things up for the series and I was right when I said he would pick Yotsuba which makes me happy but I do wish he picked Ichika instead as always lets start off with the good

Now this is where the show picks up and in a very dramatic and intense way too this season is even better then the first thats for sure but again does have its small problems lets start off with the good.

This show is really good theres no doubt about it it does have some small issues but over all the show is really good lets start off with the good

Akame ga Kill! (Anime) add

Mixed Feelings

Akame Ga Kill, This show is one of those shows where it does so many things good but also so many things poorly so they kind of cancel each other out and leave the show in the middle.

Pros.
1. The characters are all very interesting and the show did pretty good at showing a lot of their backstories leading you to grow a connection at least a slight one
2. This show is not afraid to kill off characters including main ones and I like that because I hate that trait of invincible Main/Side characters
3. The Relics themselves are very cool and pretty unique especially when your ... able to see a lot of their special moves and hidden techniques. And when Tatsumi acquires Incursio and also evolves it at the end are 2 very cool scenes especially when he acquires it.
4. The story is simple yet gripping there's not a lot of moving parts and not a lot to confuse the story is simple and the plot is straight forward all while still being able to keep your attention and keep you caring about the story and the outcome.
5. Id say half of the deaths were good like Mine's and Bulat's and Lubbock's they were in my opinion well timed or well played out some even made me tear up a little bit showing how well they got you connected to some of the characters so bravo on that
6. And finally id say half of the battles were good and well played out with good choreography that was stretched out to a reasonable amount of time

Cons.
1. This one is kind of simple and petty but the music in this show especially the 2 OP's were just boring there was nothing good about the music in this show (But that is very opinion based)
2. It takes a little while for the show to really kick off it is a bit of a slow start in my opinion
3. The other half of the battle scenes weren't good they either ended stupidly or were like a minute long so they just weren't that good and the fight scenes in the beginning of the show (Like first 4 or 5 episodes) were very boring and one sided
4. The other half of the deaths were awful Sheele and Chelsea both died way to early for you to really grow a connection to the character so their deaths had no significant emotional impact. Esdeath didn't go out in the bang that i thought she would especially with her being this undefeatable fighting master with demon blood. Leones death might be one of the most boring and bullshit deaths she has her relic broken by a relic that was unknown until last second (Because why not) and then shot like 9 times and still manages to kill the dude and walk around for hours and then just dies in an alley way alone. And Tatsumi's death has to be one of the dumbest deaths in anime history it felt like they forgot to kill him off so they found the quickest way to like this dude has fought the most powerful enemies in the capital and he dies saving like 20 civilians its just so stupid and so unneeded. This show when it had good deaths they were good but when it had bad deaths they were just downright awful.

Over all I'm very mixed about this show because like I said there's a decent amount that they do good but there's just as much that they do very poorly. I cant say I recommend it but I also cant say I don't recommend it, it is honestly up to you if you want to watch it or not just don't go in with super high expectations because you will most likely be disappointed.

This show is an amazing continuation of an already amazing show! I went back and rewatched season 1 before I watched season 2 and I can safely say that this season took what was great about rent a girlfriend and continued doing the great things and even did some things better.

Kanojo, Okarishimasu (Anime) add

Let me start off by saying that this is probably one of my most favorite romances of all time and probably one of my favorite animes of all time. This show gets a lot of flak and that's okay I may not understand why but its alright everyone has the right to their own opinion I'm just going to give you the reasons why I think its a good show to watch.

The characters are in my opinion, good I think Chizuru is a fantastic main girl I think Ruka adds that flair that others don't have I think Sumi adds that cuteness that no one ... wants to take advantage of and I think Mami adds the needed drama. despite people thinking this show is completely unrealistic (which in some parts it is) its not unrealistic to have an ex who wants to ruin you not everyone has experienced it but its a realistic thing to happen in a show. And finally Kazuya people give him so much crap but he is probably one of the most relatable characters I think people just don't want to admit it cause he's displayed as the "loser" and no one wants to admit that they to have moments that make them a "loser" there are many instances where he does the same thing a lot of dudes do I wont describe them all cause ill be here all day but he does stuff that so much of us do he's an extremely relatable character and I think people crap on him so much because of that reason they just don't want to admit he's relatable

The story is good, yes its not realistic for 4 women to fight over you in a sense and have all them be okay with you going on dates with the others but lets be honest isn't that the charm of anime. That its not realistic and it brings us into worlds that otherwise couldn't be possible? To me the story is good you have a dude who is kind of a loser but tries his best and just lives his life and you get to encounter his experiences with "Rental Girlfriends" which some turn into real romances to me its a pretty unique story and they do it well.

the animation and art style are really good they aren't anything ground breaking but their pretty good especially when it comes to romance animes

And finally the OP is just a banger that's all i can say about that.

Overall for me where this show shines is the characters and their chemistry and the interactions between them and how that progresses the story you get to see a genuine relationship start to grow between Kazuya and Chizuru its a good anime and an even better romance I highly recommend it I cant guarantee you will feel the same cause obviously a lot of people don't but at least give the show a chance.

Yofukashi no Uta (Anime) add

This show was honestly so good lets start off with the good

1. This shows Animation is smooth and clean, it is nothing ground breaking but it is just very good its clean and that's really all you need.
2. the art style is where this show pops it just is so beautiful you can genuinely pause this show at any moment and take a screenshot and have it be background quality. Like the ambiance and the over all feel that they bring with the night is just stunning and so beautifully done.
3. The OP and ED are just genuinely bangers, Creepy Nuts did a fantastic job ... on the OP and the ED even though the ED was already a song way before this anime came out but it still is just so good (Fun fact the author actually named the anime after Creepy Nut's song AKA the ED Call Of The Night) (Another fun fact the 2 guys in the anime that tried to pick Nazuna up at the pool were in fact the 2 members of Creepy Nuts, if you didn't know you do now)
4. The characters are all fantastically represented they all flow really well with each other and the chemistry between them all is very well done and by the end of the season you can really start to feel relationships get a little fleshed out. Not to mention every interaction between Nazuna and Ko are just always super fun or interesting.
5. The ending is iffy because it ends in a way where it sets itself up for the next season which is always scary because another season is never garunteed but nevertheless the ending was still good it was sweet, romantic, and really shed light on Nazuna's feelings in my opinon. I also really liked how at the end they took the scene from the beginning with Ko buying a beer and Nazuna sneaking up on him at the vending machine and flipped it so that Nazuna was buying a beer and Ko sneaked up on her it made everything kind of feel like it was coming full circle which was a cool thing to see.

Now for the bad
1. I have non I have literally no complaints about the show the only thing i can think of is they never explain why you have to fall in love in order to become a vampire but I have a feeling its because it will either come later in the show or like Hatsuka said at the end of the show not even vampires know a lot about vampires so maybe were just never told because not even the vampires know why (Its possible that its explained in the manga but I have not read the manga yet so I do not know for sure) And i guess they never explain how Nazuna became a vampire especially if the only way is through falling in love but again I have a feeling that is something that will be brought up later in the show because that feels like it would be a pretty significant plot point.

Also I see a lot of people giving this show a bad rating strictly because she's 40 something and he's 14 and they feel she's praying on him and the entire time that i was watching the show i never once thought of that because it never once felt that way Nazuna never felt like 40 something year old and they never display her as one or make her act like one I honestly think people who gave the show a bad rating specifically because of that never had the intention of watching or rating this show with a fair and square mind space if that makes sense.

Overall the show in my opinion is truly amazing any bad rating with only 3 episodes watched, take with a grain of salt. because most of them didn't even give the show the time of day to at least watch most of it to see if it ever gets better (which it does by the way) if you like slow burning romance you'll like this show. If you like comedy you'll like this show. If you like shows that are aesthetically pleasing to look at you'll like this show. I genuinely feel like this is one of those few shows where there is a little bit of something for everyone, so once again I highly recommend this show to anyone and everyone, at least give it a shot.
